Installation was super easy. The TV is light enough to put it up by myself. Picture quality is very good as well, however it is not as good as your newer series R8 TV or some higher end TV's with twice the price tag. For the price though, its fantastic - and thats probably the main reason people get this TV. Having ROKU built in was a fantastic idea, because you can access the main multimedia streaming services with the click of a button on the remote. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cheap and affordable 4K TV.

Despite thinking HiSense was some low grade manufacturer I never heard of, the sale price of my 55" made me take a chance thinking it can always be returned. Well, you could not pry it away! Quality all around. From materials, colors/clarity, features, sound, warranty, ease of set up and operation, my TV should have cost at least twice the price. I am beyond impressed, I'm appreciative. Glad I didn't follow through believing big brand-names alone were the answer. Love this thing!

We have a few Hisense products. This TV has been used quite a bit. We bought it as an upgrade at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown. Picture quality, connectivity, and ease of use have been very good. The only downside was the remote. It was infrared, and I purchased a higher end roku remote with Bluetooth. It works flawlessly from across the house.

I’m really impressed with this tv, we had to get a new since our led panel went out for our old one. This was 50$ off extra making it just as cheap as the regular insignia 55”. Of course i would much rather have the 4K and Roku option for the same price.

The Hisense was easy to setup. The picture quality is excellent. The weight (28lbs) make it easy to position wherever you want. It loads the local channels and this tv is powered by Roku. The quality of the speakers (2 10 watt ) give this tv a great sound and you will not need to buy a sound bar.

Great TV and value. Replaced a 1st generation flat screen. I love all the features of the smart TV, lots of choices other than viewing cable. Its lightweight, good picture and sound is ok without a sound bar.

I bought this as a stop gap measure since my Samsung got hit by lightning. I wasn't expecting much on picture quality for $300 but turns out to not bad. Looked a little better than the TCL. It wasn't until I bought the 2018 Hisense model and noticed the difference. Not sure what they did to change the picture quality, but the 2018 model is sooooo much better. I am happy with Hisense (now that I have 2). My wife has this TV now and loves having the Roku built-in and can now get the 4K streaming. (Note: The reviews I read for TCL and Hisense indicate that the 2018 models are better than the 2019 models), I hope Hisense changes back to what they did in 2018 for the 2020 models.

This is my second Hisense Roku TV. I purchased a 43" about 6 months ago and just bought this 55". Both are excellent TV's with the exception of the speakers. The 43" has 8 watts, the 55" has 10 watts. Both are pretty worthless and you'll need a speaker or soundbar hooked up to hear it well so I took off one star for that. That said, the color is beautiful, the Roku works great, and with speakers hooked to them I am very happy with both TV's.

I originally purchased a Sharp 50" 4K Roku TV however, the TV had some internal electrical defect from the start. Upon returning that TV, I decided to upgrade to a 55" and came upon the Hisense Roku TV (which purchased Sharp Co.) for just under $300. I have had no issues thus far and being a Roku user for over a decade, find it very convenient having an all-in-one device. I personally think the Sharp had a better picture quality and 4K imaging than the Hisense but, overall, a good price for an acceptable 2018 Smart 4K Roku TV.

This is my 4th generation of LED smart tv and I am impressed at the high quality with such a reasonable cost. A Best Buy salesman recommended the Hisense 4K and I tried one for my cabin. The picture is fantastic so I purchased another one for my home. The Roku version is a great addition. It is a very intuitive smart tv and with Roku is gives me a great option to reduce me escalating cable bill.

Tv has been good so far. Fast and haven’t had many issue with the tv it’s self. The only thing is with Roku, the USA app has a glitch where it dims the screen on previews. Might happen with all Roku devices but this is the only device that has Roku. Other then that picture is great and the tv is extremely light. Was hesitant about changing from Sony, but Would recommend this tv for ppl that are on a budget for the bedroom.

Enjoying this TV so far with Xbox One X

I bought this 4k tv to go with the Xbox One X I recently purchased, and i'e been really impressed with the gaming on it so far. You have to tinker around with the settings, (I've found that the "sports" picture mode with game mode turned on work best) but it looks great on the X. The remote and apps on the TV run faster than I thought they would after some of the reviews I read, and the sound is better than expected. Is it the best 4k TV i've ever seen? No, but for the 300 dollar price tag I would highly recommend taking a shot on this TV.

I really like this TV. I set it up myself in just a few minutes. The picture is great and there is no need for a sound bar as far as I am concerned, but I don't have a really large living room either. I have only had it for about a month and no issues at this point. I do have a small Hisense in my bedroom I have been using for over two years and I like it too.

I bought this TV as a birthday gift for my husband to replace a 32 in LED TV. I wasn’t sure what to expect because of the cheap price but he is thrilled with it. It is large and has a great picture. Sound is not the best and we will eventually add a sound bar but it’s not horrible. Definitely a great value. We like the Roku part as it is easy to use. I would buy this TV again in a heartbeat.
