    Never got a chance to see it actually work because when it was delivered today the box was damaged and the 3rd rate delivery service Best buy uses said it would be fine. Opened box to find broken TV. So #1, I lost a day of pay waiting for delivery because Best Buy wouldn't deliver to store #2 Best Buy wants me to take 2nd day off for re-delivery next week (no Way) #3 Best Buy support could care less. #4 Store Mgr didnt even offer replacement upgrade due to damaged item. Over 20+ yrs as member and no more for me. Wish they would go way of Circuit City now.

    The color keeps blinking from bright to dull. WE did all the resets bought new cords, researched to see if anyone else had had this problem, even called the manufacture which instructed us to call the store we bought it from. We called best buy , instead of helping me trouble shoot, first they instructed me it was too late to return with no suggestions to oh you bought on good Friday, bring it back to the store. Tech support stunk! Will right another review when they replace the tv.

    Bought TV and on first night something burnt out indside. We could smell burnt electronics and then the TV would not power back on. Returned TV for exact repacement. After the in store retun period expired, 2 weeks I believe, the replacement TV now randomly will glitch out and display vertical green lines. Powering the TV off and on will allow it to run "normal" untill the next glitch. In addition, when it is working "normal" the audio will on occasion have this loud pop. TV now sits in a spare room. Would not reccomend.

    Great 55 inch 4K TV for an affordable price

    The Hisense 55" Class U6K Series Mini LED Quantum ULED Google TV is a great 55 inch 4K TV for an affordable price. I've owned several HiSense brand TV's over the years and this is definitely the best one so far! The picture quality is exceptional for a TV in this price range. My HiSense TV's have always been great TV's so I'm really comfortable with this brand. The ultra-slim bezel on this TV pretty much disappears while watching the TV. The mini-LED technology in this TV looks exceptional. The local dimming feature is great on the eyes especially when you're watching the TV in a dark room! The TV comes with plenty of ports which is awesome. Some TV's in this price range can skimp on the ports. With 4 HDMI I can plug all my devices into this TV without needing to hookup an HDMI extender device. The ethernet port is nice for hooking directly your router for ultimate bandwidth for streaming but the included Wi-Fi allows you to connect to your wireless network as well. Digital audio out for your sound bar if you have one, 2 USB ports, and headphone port if you want to hook a wired headset up. Built-in Bluetooth is great for connecting a wireless headset too as well as the Airplay for Apple devices or Chromecast for Android devices. Google TV works great and is easy to setup and use. It has all the apps you'll need for streaming services and the Google Assistant makes interacting with the TV via voice commands easy. If you don't want the TV listening for audio commands there is a mute switch on the TV that let's you disable this. Sound quality is quite good on this TV. The different sound modes offer different EQ settings to try out. You'll be just fine without a sound bar, but if you crave extra bass it's easy to hookup to a sound bar via Bluetooth or the digital audio port. The game mode works great for fast action gaming on this TV. My Xbox looks awesome on this 55 inch display! The remote has quick access buttons for some of the popular streaming apps for instant switching between those. Pretty simple remote. I do wish it was backlit for dark room viewing. I prefer when TV's have centered base designs, as it opens up the surfaces you can put the TV on, but I find in this price range most come with the legs instead. Not a deal breaker. If you're looking for a budget friendly 55 inch 4K tv with great features and performance, this TV would be an excellent choice!

    TV keeps glitching and display goes out

    Horrible experience with the TV. It started glitching within 5 months of purchase and currently the situation is so bad that it glitches and then the display just goes out.

    Closed Captioning Fiasco

    the HiSense TV would not access the closed captioning feature even with the Best Buy Tech Support. HiSense wanted only their techs for supposedly trouble shooting their apps. Ridiculous Evidently they are not up-to-date. Thought this was a better product since it was Japanese made and not Chinese LOL

    This 55" Class U6K Series Mini LED Quantum ULED Google TV is great, and also very budget friendly. Picture, sound, display, and accessibility are wonderful. Connecting my daughters XBOX was fairly easy. We also tend to stream from a bunch of different streaming services/apps, (Netflix, hulu, peacock, apple tv etc..) I have noticed that when I downloaded all of these apps the TV does lag a little, its very slow and buffers allot when streaming. It would probably not be the best to have so many apps downloaded, performance on that point needs a little work, but its not a deal breaker for us. Sound quality is surprisingly amazing, I do not need to use any other speakers with the TV Picture/display quality is nice and bright -the colors are so vibrant and colorful and makes the TV watching experience even better. Other than the lagging of apps, the TV is wonderful, we are even thinking of mounting this TV on our deck for those late-night movie nights. I currently own 3 Hisense TVs and this is the best so far!

    Playing the TV shuffle, I put this new one in my living room. The set up was easy, TV is light , it was packed well, and all that was needed was there (except the Phillips head screwdriver). So I got it set up and it looks nice. When I was first setting it up, it was a very fuzzy picture for about 30 minutes. I doubled checked all the connections and by the time I was done it was a good sharp picture. My house is a mixture of Alexa, Google, and Siri so this just added to everyones confusion but mine. I now do not have to hunt for the remote as I have one on my phone. Convenient when yoiu forget to pause your show and you are downstairs doing laundry. The biggest problem I have with this TV is it does NOT have the RCA ports. Yes, I have a VCR/DVD player that is dead-in-the-water until I get the converter. Its cheap enough (less that $15) I just have to remember to stop and get one. . I do like the TV, I would recommend it, but anytime you change something like this there is a learning curve.

    The built in system software is very poor It’s delayed and the tv itself being a smart google tv doesn’t function with google home as you would hope the most frustrating problem is the fact that you can’t add the tv to a speaker group in your google home and when connecting a Samsung branded sound bar the tv remote control doesn’t change the sound bar volume overall however if you can overlook the poor system software and just get a chromecast everything works perfectly the google home set up the volume controls and the speed are all great with a chromcast the panel is good in the blacks it does have 2 zones I noticed where the panel blacks are less quality but that’s expected for a budget tv like this with the right parings this tv can make a great feature in your home

    Nice picture good size, but some glitches with the software. For example asking me to remove parental controls to go to the Verizon hdmi port and the making that impossible. The directions for changing parental controls through the menus were incorrect. Tried rebooting—that didn’t work. Then told Google to remove all parental controls. That seemed to fix it partially. Still get a parental controls message sometimes. Otherwise happy with the TV. Using all the hdmi ports successfully.

    For months, I scrutinized the reviews for the best of the lower priced 55" TVs and this Hisense model came up consistently. I easily set it up using onscreen instructions with a smarphone. The colors are vibrant and there are no issues with the viewing angle or ambient light. Highly recommended for its value, the best bang for the buck! I have it hooked up to my SONOS system with a soundbar and several speakers and the sound and visual experiences are marvelous.
