This is the first time I have had a chance to try a Hisense television. This brand just was never on my radar screen until I tried the 2025 version of the U6 Series. I am using the 55 inch version of this television as a bedroom television and it is working perfectly. The screen is a miniLED 4K UHD screen that has inky blacks and bright vibrant colors. There are choices you can make to determine screen brightness and color saturation, such as vibrant, standard and others. I settled on vibrant just because I like colors to pop and this TV is very good at that. The 2025 version of this television has a 144Hz refresh rate which is great for sports and fast action movies as there is little to no blurring. There are other setting you can switch to that adjusts aspects of the screen, such as gaming mode, sports mode, movie mode and others. These make subtle changes to how the screen looks and reacts. Sound is very good, although I do pair it up to a Bose soundbar for some extra oomph from movies and shows. The Hisense has 40 watts of speaker power with Dolby Atmos and 2.1 surround sound built in. The television has 4 HDMI inputs and WiFi 6 and bluetooth for connectivity. It also has an RJ45 jack to connect to a network if you choose. My version of this television is the FireTV version. I believe you can also get this as a Google TV. Setup was as simple as installing the television, updateing and signing into the fireTV app. The TV used the app and existing fireTv in the house to download, install and sign in to my apps. The television was literally up and running in 15 minutes. We all know that the price of televisions continues to come down and technology improves, but I still think this is a great television and for the price point it is selling at, makes for an exceptional value.

55" LED display with HDR and Dolby Vision at 4K @ 2160p with a 144Hz Game Mode Pro refresh rate gets you super sharp viewing enjoyment. Lots of other options like Filmmaker mode that is like a Director's Cut that sets the sound and video as it was originally intended and not resized or cropped to fill screens. My wife loves this feature! With Amazon Fire TV you get Alexa and a handful of pre-loaded top rated streaming apps with more that you can install yourself through the app store. It also has Wifi connectivity for the smart features but also is Apple Airplay compatible. The 4 HDMI ports give you plenty of connectivity. Add a couple of gaming consoles, a Blu-ray player (if you still have such a thing... I do have a pretty impressive video collection so important to me) and a sound bar and you have a well rounded home theater setup. Priced at $799 it was already a decent value but at the time of this writing the price has dropped below $550 making it an awesome steal of a deal. I may go grab another for my guest bedroom!

This Hisense Mini-LED TV is a great TV. Set up was very easy. My nephew helped me get it into place and once you turn it on, you run through the questions and connect to the internet. It did an update and then you're off to watching TV. Not different than any other TV. What we all care about is how good the picture is. It took some tinkering to get where I want it, but once I got the look that I wanted, the picture is fabulous. I would strongly suggest running through all the options to get to your liking. Out of the box, it was too bright and too cool of a tone for me. The colors looked washed out very badly. I was watching basketball and the wood floors didn't even look like wood. There's a setting called "Peaking Brightness" and it was set to high. The TV is plenty bright without that on, so I compared High, Medium and Low and ended up turning it off. That solved a lot of the color washing. I settled on Warm2 for the color (there is Cool, Warm1 and Warm2). Obviously, your eyes might like something different and that's why I suggest going through all the settings and getting where you want. I mentioned watching basketball, and there was zero motion blur or stuttering. Regular shows or movies now look great after my tinkering. I'm extremely happy with this TV. With the settings to my liking, it's doing it's job and staying out of the way. Just displaying a great picture.

Had this tv installed a month ago. The picture is clear and meets all my needs. I had BB install the wall bracket and set up the channels. The installer - a young lady - was excellent. Very happy so far!!!

I have been in the market for a new TV to replace the one in my bedroom so I was more than happy to give the Hisense 55" Class U6 Series Mini-LED QLED UHD 4K Smart Fire TV a try. While having heard of the Hisense brand before I have never used one and had limited knowledge on the brand so I admittedly did not have it on my list of possible replacements to purchase. Setup was fairly simple being familiar with the Fire TV OS. I immediately noticed how well the screen display was with colors appearing to be bright and rich when applicable. It definitely doesn't trick you into believing you are looking at a higher end equivalent but for most users it will stand out as an excellent option at a better price point. Sound is fairly decent on it's own with the built-in speakers but I do use a soundbar so for me it was a quick testing of the speakers and wasn't relevant to my needs. But if I had to rely solely on the built in speaker I would feel comfortable doing so. The remote feels a little low quality with some occasional issues registering button pushes but nothing over the top. Overall, I think this TV is a good option for most users. While I can't say that I would choose it over my preferred brands I definitely wouldn't hesitate to choose this or another offering from Hisense if and when I need to replace another TV in my home and was looking for a budget friendly entry level option

Great tv with annoying art screen saver

Great looking tv - works perfectly - expert installation team. The stupid art display widget on the tv is perhaps the most annoying app ever - whoever added that to the tv should be fired.
