It is a fantastic TV. You do need an HDMI 4 K cord to hook it up or the picture is fuzzy.

If you're someone who cares about picture quality, then the Hisense 55" Class U6H Series Quantum ULED 4K UHD Smart Google TV might just be the perfect TV for you. With Quantum Dot technology and 4K resolution, the colors and details are vibrant and crystal-clear, creating an outstanding visual experience for movies, gaming, and streaming shows. But what really sets this TV apart is the integration of Google TV. The interface is user-friendly, and you get seamless access to a wide range of apps and streaming services, making it extremely convenient. The Google Assistant feature acts like your own personal virtual assistant, making it easy to navigate through content or answer queries. Beyond the picture quality and smart features, the U6H Series also boasts impressive audio quality. The built-in speakers deliver clear and immersive sound, enhancing your viewing experience. The TV's slim design and thin bezels add a modern touch to any living space. Setting up the TV is a breeze, and it's easy to connect thanks to its multiple HDMI and USB ports. The remote control is intuitive, and the inclusion of dedicated buttons for popular streaming services is a nice touch. Overall, the Hisense 55" Class U6H Series Quantum ULED 4K UHD Smart Google TV is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a high-quality smart TV at a reasonable price. It combines cutting-edge technology, smart features, and an elegant design, making it a solid choice for any home.

    Great TV, One drawback

Excellent TV. Amazing picture quality for the money. Since the U6K came out I might recommend that over this. The only downside to this TV is viewing angles. The colors, brightness and contrast levels are great for the price, but only from a 20 degree cone from the TV. I would still highly recommend it depending on use case.

Good picture at a good price (but not great)

Picture is bright and colorful but occasionally some images seem washed out and the viewing angle is extremely limited (you really need to be seated directly in front of set!). I'm not a big fan of the Google TV powered smart set, and there are some issues with the voice assistant. Menus are obtrusive and there are no options to change opacity or position. Also, the navigation of the menus is not very intuitive and there is no way to immediately exit (you'll need to back out of layers to get back to your show!). It does sound pretty good, and it has good pass through options. It doesn't take too much fidgeting with settings to get a good picture (you can probably use theatre setting and set motion to film and be good to go). HDR does look very good for a fairly inexpensive price. Tuner works well, but it is difficult to get the signal strength for stations to adjust antenna. Overall, despite some flaws, I am happy with the purchase

Pretty nice tv. There are setter options, but for the price, this is great! Highly recommend buying a separate streaming stick with its own processor. The picture quality on this tv is good, but the software is laggy and frustrating most of the time. Will eventually replace with something nicer.

The picture quality (which ultimately is what matters most) is good but nowhere close to my other Hisense TV which is a 65H9. As such I would say this TV is suitable for a bedroom but not your main viewing room. The 65H9 is brighter, has better contrast and has a native refresh of 120Hz. This TV is stuck at 60Hz and despite 240Hz motion compensation, just isn't as convincing. The picture suffers from mediocre contrast and slightly washed-out color (compared to the H9 series). Whereas with the H9 you could enjoyably watch the TV with the out-of-the-box settings, the U6 truly requires a half hour playing with the picture settings to get a pleasing result. I noticed the motion compensation was turned off by default. After playing with the picture settings, we found a satisfactory compromise between color and contrast. We left the motion compensation turned on because otherwise the TV is hard to watch during action sequences. Overall, in terms of picture quality, I would suggest spending the same, or less, money on a FHD (2K) TV - especially if that TV comes with 120Hz native and better color. But of course, it's all subjective! Where the U6 does win is the menu navigation and especially the settings - these are head-and-shoulders better than the H9. We had no issues getting ApplePlay to work and likewise we were able to quickly change the optical audio output to the format required by our receiver. The navigation speed is also better than our H9 TV which came as a surprise. We will primarily be using a 4K Fire Cube TV but it's good to know the 'Smart' part of this TV is respectable. We do not play games on TV so cannot comment on that capability. Default sound (not using our receiver) was also adequate but not spectacular. So, was it worth what we paid? Well, mostly yes. However, I would recommend you evaluate alongside others in the same price category before buying - go compare the picture quality for yourself. I'm not sure if I would've bought this TV had I done so - unfortunately I was falsely biased by the superb picture on our Hisense 65H9! Anyhow, Best Buy staff did a great job - I picked up the TV the day after Thanksgiving and it was a zoo! However, the staff were helpful, efficient and got me on my way quickly. The packaging was intact, the item brand new (not previously opened) and functionally the TV is perfect. Requires a 200 x 300 wall mount (no surprise).

I’m not going to sit here and say that this $350 TV is the best thing on the market. The refresh rate gets a little choppy on my PS5, especially in GT7. It’s noticeable but not anything that affects my race. Totally fine for movies. For the money, it’s a good option.

Excellent picture quality and brightness. The Google Software works. The remote is bit basic but functional. If you have a Google Home - integration to your ecosystem is excellent. Sound is average at best but almost everyone uses a dedicated home sound system or sound bar. Good value for $399.

I had already read reviews on this about the viewing angle, but didn't realize how extreme it was. The color and contrast is pretty good when you are directly in front of the TV. But one two steps off center and the picture changes dramatically and becomes pretty washed out. I have a few other TVs I bought recently and had to go check to see if I missed that on them. Nope, only this TV. If you were like me and debating between this and another larger brand TV (say one with SmartTizen) go with the other one. Don't be fooled by the Quantum ULED.

    Pretty Good TV, But...

This TV has a really nice-lookng picture with clarity and nice colors. However, the reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because there's a bit of a learning curve with the Settings. However, I eventually got the hang to it. But it's kind of convuluted to get to the timer-off controls and I don't think you should have to go through as many steps just to get to it. Also, sometimes the the stations and apps aren't stable. And with some of the premium apps, the commercials buffer a lot. Therefore, I watch most of my television through a Roku device. (This app doesn't have a Roku app, but that would defeat the purpose.) But their Customer Service is pretty good and they helped me reset my TV, therefore, it's now more stable.

Picture and color and sound all excellent , WiFi movie streaming excellent , love that there are so many HDMI ports Only reason not a "5" is occasionally , not often not even every day , there seems to be a little lag for a few seconds almost as if TV's internal processing is having trouble keeping up with data coming in , not a big deal at all and in truth it may not even be the TV , it very well might be our internet service provider or something else , but overall very satisfied with Hisense , have bought three past year and a half , and would buy again

I've had this TV for 2 years and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Straight out of the box the image looked great. I probably could change some settings to make it look better but honesty I haven't seen the need to. The sound, as on most TV's is just ok, that is why I use a bar speaker.
