My Hisense ULED U7 55” have all the great technological features of a modern day Television at a cost effective rate. The picture quality is superb & colorful, the sound is great more than I anticipated that it gives the feeling of a theater when seeing movies. I have it in my bedroom & even at the darkest hour of the night the brightness contrast perfectly to suit my viewing pleasure. I will buy another bigger inch for my living room & I do recommend this item.

I was hesitant about purchasing a non Big name brand TV. I’ve always stuck to the popular know brands which always were higher in price thinking I was getting better quality picture and features . This TV proved me wrong. I’m loving the picture quality of this TV along with the fearless that are usually included with higher end models and brands. A 55 inch QLED TV with a 240 refresh rate for $499.00? You can’t go wrong. Don’t hesitate if you’re deciding it’s too good to be true, go for it. You won’t be sorry.

This is a solid budget friendly option. Great color, great sharpness, and great ease of use and set up. Sports and video games look fantastic on this screen.
The only cons: viewing angle isn’t great- color washes out significantly if you aren’t in the fairly narrow viewing angle. I would also suggest against using the automatic light adjustment- it is handy, but the ambient light sensors seem to be finicky (and tricked by the light of the tv itself) which leads to flickering between bright and dim settings.
Overall though, this is a good tv for the price range.

This unit is an absolute must buy for anyone wanting a top of the line viewing experience without breaking the bank to get it. I have Sony's very best tv ever produced (Sony - 55" Class - OLED - A9F Master Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR) that originally cost me over $3500 and this $650 Hisense is even better in my opinion. You get the blackest blacks as with OLED and brightest brights as with QLED all in a single unit. Picture clarity and colors are next generation! I highly recommend!

For the money no way anything can compare to this !!! I have a teen at home who games a lot and we watch tons of movies to go with the gaming ….replaces a 2020 Sony that still works but didn’t have bells and whistles for PS 5 and New Xbox….everything about this blows away my 4 year old Sony …like it’s crazy how much we like this ..only thing I regret is I wish I bought the 65 not the 55 only because I didn’t think I would love this tv so much…might still get the 65 soon and put this one in my bedroom !! There are a couple minor minor things I won’t even bring up that I was like oh that’s odd…also the controller is light years better than the Sony controller !! Like I never knew that mattered …also the sound for a tv is amazing …like if you don’t have a soundbar or a 2.1/5.1 system etc you can totally get away with onboard sound!!!!!
I was shocked …if this is on your short list …erase the rest of your list and buy this !!!!!
I was always a Sony man but not anymore …if I ever splurge on a super expensive tv I’m still going with this brand !

I had been holding out on upgrading my main TV after having a 1080p 42-inch LG for years now. I saw this deal and after doing some research decided to pull the trigger on this Hisense upgrade, and I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. It meets all my needs and provides amazing picture quality and brightness coming from my previous unit. All the features work as expected and I expect this purchased to last me just as long as my last TV, which is now a backup for my office and still running strong.

Hisense hasnt let me down so i went with u7 55 .was thinking of 65 in u6 but glad i went with u7 picture is amazing.out box is good too. I YouTube some settings look great .Netflix movies look better i have the higher subscription so it looks amazing. Sound is really good has some bass making it sound better . Played MK1 game looks great colors dont pop out crazy but enough im sure you can adjust it. LG and Samsung over-rated for the price .oled is better tho . Hisense is great . Never had issues with my 5 tvs from them .controller is like 8 bucks huge plus if u have kids . On ebay. I never own tcl or lg but i have owned hisense for last 5 years and been impressed. I paid 500 for u7 mini led 55in . Mini led better than qled i think .oled is the best but also two times as much. Best tv for the average person and a great option for gamers. It's definitely not the worst brand out there so dont be afraid of hisense do your own YouTube and rtings.com .. research

This is my first ever purchase of a mini-LED QLED TV and I am completely impressed. The picture quality is stunning and the ease of use with Google TV is next near perfect. When using the speakers and subwoofer on the TV on their own is of top tier quality. Easily could get by without using a soundbar or AVR. Simply put, if you're looking for a budget friendly TV with amazing features, stellar picture quality and equal audio. This should be your next TV purchase and see for yourself.

First time I have bought a Google smart TV. So much better than amazon, no delays or loading slow. Great picture quality. Would buy Google smart TVs going forward. Love that the screen brightness seems to adjust depending on room light. Our living room is very bright and have not had any glare issues.

Bought this to replace my 8 year old Sony 49" LED in my Bedroom. My comparisons are going to be against that TV unless otherwise stated.
PROS;
Excellent color accuracy out of the box. Very little needed to be changed in the picture settings to get this looking it's best.
Excellent contrast ratio, much better than my old Sony if not quite as good as my LG OLED.
Great image processing. I know most professional reviews advise to turn it off but my bedroom is south facing so the lighting changes considerably throughout the day. The TV does great with both 4K and 1080p content.
CONS:
Picture quality drops off considerably when viewing more than 30° off center, I would think twice about having this as a living room TV for most setups.
SD content upscaling is only decent, not as good as my old Sony and no where near the AI upscaling offered by my Nvidia Shield. However most people won't need to worry as almost all content is 720p or more
The processor is slow, slower than even the 8 year old Sony when all the image processing parameters are engaged. This won't be an issue for most people as I only encountered processing bottlenecks when playing high bitrate 4K HDR or Dolby Vision content via Plex from an external HD drive. And even then it was only with video known to tax the processor, though it should be said my Google Chromecast handled the same content no problem.
I bought this for $600 do the value can't be beat. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

First of all I love Tech I’ve always been into reading and like to stay up to date on the latest tech at CES and what’s on the Horizon.
Ok So I’ve been researching tvs for the past couple months and decided to go with the U7. I Bought this on sale On Memorial Day Weekend for $599 and it was a great deal for what you get. Coming from a 2021 led 50” Samsung to this 55” Mini-Led is literally night and day. The picture is so Crystal Clear & Crisp even in the brightest of rooms. The Blacks are deep and the whites look great, I’ve tried to look for blurring/Lag When Playing PS5 but I didn’t see any even when trying to move fast on the screen. Hisense has really upped their game in the past few years, they are giving LG & Samsung some serious competition which is great. For those that don’t plan on using a sound bar or external speakers, the 40 Wat 3 speakers actually sound pretty good for regular tv speakers. Watching a movie the dialogue came out crisp and clean while the music also sounded relatively good, although there was very little bass. It has everything I need in terms of Inputs & Outputs 4 HDMI 2 USB A & C Optical Out for easy audio connections and more. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the 2024 Hisense U7, like I said for the money it’s one of the best Q-LED/Mini-LED TVs on the market right now.

I haven't had much time on it yet due to work but so far i really like it . The u7 has some great features, the picture is great and sounds great with the built in subwoofer. I also like the continue watching feature so you don't have to hunt down what streaming service your show was on. Cant wait to get some gaming in with the 144hz refresh rate. Would recommend.

The best thing I like about this tv is it’s 4k120 support, I had no issues with using it with my computer, Even 144hz works when I select it in games. HDR works and looks so much better on this tv, then it ever did with my old TV that I upgrade from. I found that using G-sync compatible mode on my gpu, worked very well with the U7N, I didn’t see or have any issues when I used G-sync.
My TV had a perfect white screen, I also didn’t have any dead pixels which surprise me, so no issue there, I didn’t even have issues with black light bleeding. But that just with my unit.
The sound quality to me was very good, but it could be better, as there were times where voices in movies or tv shows at random was hard to hear and wasn't clear. Other times it was ok. The only fix to this was getting a sound bar. EARC worked without a problem with my soundbar, the only thing that I didn’t like was the volume numbers not showing up when a soundbar was connected, making you have to look at the sound bar led to get the volume level.
Having Two 4k144hz HDMI is very useful, but honestly I wish all the HDMI ports where 4k144khz and not just two of them.
The stand was a little bit of a pain to install on the tv, it was confusing at times on which leg goes where, and sliding the flat part on it took up most of the time, as I had to get it on there right.
TV was very light which made it easy to lift up to sat on the tv stand.
The only issue I had that really was an issue was the UI being laggy at times. that was the only issue i had.
Over all I like the TV so much better then my old one that I had before.

Using this as a WFH desktop by day and entertainment system at night. Love the sound quality and googles powerful OS running this thing. Unfortunately you cant download adblockers or anything on the tv because they are all over the homescreen but thats normal for smart tvs in 2025. "Ok google" command is super useful when the remote is out of reach. The remote lights up when you move it and is also bluetooth connected so it works better than the typical remote

Everything I ever wanted at a spectacular price. Because it was going into a fairly well-lit room I was somewhat concerned about the brightness nits. Not to worry. The picture is bright Sharp and clear. The sound quality is amazing. No more separate amp and speakers. This smart TV delivers in all categories.

For the price this tv hits the spot. As a mid range TV the colors are bright, darks are dark, quality is clear. The brights I think stand out as the best feature for this TV. Overall worth the price for the quality.
