I've owned this TV for about 6 weeks, and love it! There were some issues a few weeks back, but a firmware update, and coincidental software update has solved most of it. The only issue remaining is the tuner program guide does not always populate until you select a channel, then it will partially populate. The new ATSC 3.0 tuner does pull in ABC, which was almost impossible in my area since they went digital some years back due to the low frequency, even being close to the tower. I cut the cable chord about 2 years ago. This TV will give you anything you could want as far as streaming, or over the air broadcasts. Picture is the best you will find bar none unless to want to spend 3 to 4K on a higher end TV. This picture is as close to OLED as you will find. It does not need a sound bar. I personally cannot use OLED due to the possible burn in issues that could be caused when I monitor live views from my telescopes while doing astrophotography. The GoogleTV interface is in depth, and easy to navigate. For those of you not familiar with Hisense, it once was Sharp. They have made tvs for over 50 years. I did a lot of research on this tv, and it appears to be paying off. It replaced a high end Sony smart tv that only lasted about 7 years. I still have another high end Sony that is 10+ years old but not a smart tv, and still has a great picture. In making the decision on this one, performance, capability, the OS, and some side to side comparison were all important factors. I don't think you will be disappointed! It comes with a 2 yr warranty.

We compared all of the TV’s in store and this one looked as good or better than many of the more expensive models. Sound is pretty good, too. Google TV interface is easy to use, especially in app only mode. OTA tuner works well and brings in many channels. We had a Samsung TV prior to this one and was a little apprehensive to buy another brand, but we are very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend the 55 inch model. Hopefully it will last a long time for us.

Really like the TV. The blacks aren't far off my lg c1 oled. And the colors are very vibrant and vivid. Overall if you can live with not having a brand name, very well worth the money. Would probably get again next time I need another one.

Very clear picture with lots of customization options. Sound quality through the speakers is surprisingly good as well. The only points off are that Google TV OS can be slow at times and there's no setting to make the TV go to sleep/ambient mode after a set time period (though you can make it fully turn off after a set time period) I've heard that Hisense TVs don't last very long, so we'll see how it performs a year from now. I'm satisfied for now though

It is very bright and surprisingly very good colors out of the box. I have the samsung qn900 series tv in my living room, but as far as brightness is concerned, its a champ. I think it is the best value if you want a TV in a bright room, or in any room, as the black levels are great. I do not see blooming or stuttering in motion. Happy customer. This is my first Hisense, and may not be the last one.

I have purchased several Hisense TV's in the past and none gets as bright and vivid as this one. Blacks as deep as OLED's. I have a Samsung S95b and for 1/3 of the cost this TV comes close on picture quality. Only thing is color are not as bright. Overall best picture for the price.

I have been looking for an OLED tv but have not wanted to spend $1,000 or more. I noticed the U8K Hisense at Best Buy on sale for $550 off the MSRP. I read reviews on the mini-LED and ULED. I decided to purchase this in a 55 inch size. Wow! I am very happy with the TV and the picture quality. The picture is incredibly clear and detailed! It is as good as any OLED I had seen in the store. The sound was also excellent with the 5 speakers and the bass. I still hooked up my sound bar, but that was due more to the fact that my Dish remote wouldn't pair with the Hisense tv. I spoke with Hisense customer support who told me to call Dish. I call Dish who told me they are aware that Dish remotes do not always work with newer Hisense TVs. All I got was a sorry, we can't help! It is frustrating having to use two remotes. I would have deducted one star for this issue, but I am staying at 5 stars because the picture is so incredible!

Im blown away at the speakers, the video, the gaming performance, the sports performance, the movie performance. Gonna buy a bigger one for the living room, I bought for gaming and it works great!

For the amount of features this TV offers, you would expect to pay more than what it costs. I'm mostly using this TV for gaming and it looks gorgeous at 4k. Also, gaming with VRR and 120hz, TV handles it all. I'm pleased with my purchase.

This has an amazing picture at an amazing price! Being one of the few TVs that supports NextgenTV, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced is a major plus and the main reason I looked into this TV. My only complaint is that the GoogleTV OS can be buggy, but any issues I have are usually resolved by just restarting it. It's not major or frequent enough for me to remove a star. Highly recommended!

I love my new television! This is my first Hisense TV, and the picture is incomparable. One thing I did not expect was the quality of the sound. All my other TV's have really horrible sound, forcing me to have a sound bar on every TV (I hate cords and extra equipment). Love the many options for sound and picture customization. GoogleTV platform is extremely user friendly. Very happy with my purchase!

Never knew what I was missing with my Xbox Series X ans PS5. Feels like my hardware was upgraded. I had a 4k tv before but this unlocked the full potential with 120 refresh rate and the brighter nits. Sound system built in too does enough for me in a small office. It was like I was using regular gas in a race car before this.

Great TV. Has a great picture and the colors really pop. Super bright TV. The sound is amazing with the built in speakers and sub. Definitely worth the price!

I bought this Hisense 55" U8K to replace my 10+ year old Vizio in my bright, natural sunlit living room. And honestly, I was about to return it the first night I used it. The TV had some gray splotchy/gradient areas at the top of the screen, but i discovered it looked that way because my Xfinity Flex box was streaming at a lower quality than the TV is built for. After fixing the resolution on my box the splotchiness went away. The picture quality is AMAZING. People look like they're standing right in front of you; gameing is flawless, smooth and rich in color; I CAN SEE WHAT IS GOING ON IN DARK SCENES without closing my blinds or making any kind of adjustments to the TV; the built-in speakers actually sound good alone (although I did purchase a soundbar to go with it). I have no regrets about this purchase, and as someone who can be pretty indecisive- always wanting to make sure I made the BEST decision, that's a big statement. The only thing that concerns me is i have no idea how long this TV will last as I am new to the Hisense brand. But only time will tell.

Excellent value for the product. It is well made and produces excellent pictures for TV, movies, and video games. It is very user-friendly, making Alexa and fire sticks absolete with Google TV. Great customizable settings all in one for a great price. I highly recommend this product.

This tv is literally a game changer. Has everything you could ask for in next gen gaming. So many setting to adjust. I was able to adjust black levels to near OLED quality. Would highly recommend. The sound is also decent.

This is my first experience with a mini led TV. The picture quality that jumps out to me is the richness in the picture. The blacks are inky black and skin tones are natural and show up in the darkest scenes. For the price, it would be a challenge to buy another TV this satisfying.
