Firmware upgrade on installation. TV provides for two different location points for stand legs - one standard and one closer together for smaller tv stands. Sound is very good for internal tv speakers - includes a built-in subwoofer on back panel. Very pleased with purchase.

The poor review is due to connectivity issues and inability to self diagnose. TV recognizes WiFi but will not connect to it even though it says it’s connected. TV was on the Wifi with no issues for months before this happened.

First I was thinking to buy Song X90 because I am a big fan of Sony picture quality. But Sony doesn’t care about the lower or mid range models anymore. They are making better OLED and forcing us to purchase. So they don’t make better LED or mini-LED to compete with other brands like this TV

The picture quality is great aside from the ocasional blur in very fast moving scenes. The sound is great and the subwoofer adds a nice kick to thr bass. If I had a criticism it would that the UI and settings menu be cleaned up and more user frienfly.

Its reproduction of black is also excellent. My set has no dirty screen effect (a big issue with the mid-range 2014 Samsung LED TV this replaced). This set has 2 issues that keep it from being perfect. (1) After transitioning from one scene to the next or a where video cuts from one camera to the another in the same scene, it takes a moment for video to “catch up”, sync and play back smoothly. (2) There are certain motions that this set doesn’t process well. I’ve adjusted the motion smoothing and judder control settings in every combination, from high to low to off and can’t reduce/eliminate the issue to my satisfaction. At some point, in Doug Demuro videos on YouTube, he will shake or wave his hands. Everything in frame looks smooth, except the motion of his hands. They look like stop motion video, with too few frames, were inserted in the video. Hopefully a firmware update will address the issues.
