Good TV in terms of display. Even with new batteries, the remote must be within about 5 feet of the TV to work. Also, the remote is not laid out in a logical order and you need light to use it without hitting the wrong buttons

Great display, color gamut, supports full 4k HDR, VRR, 120hz, perfect for gaming. Google tv is nice. Alwexa integration does not work. Contacted customer support. They sent me an update "patch" to be uploaded on usb to fix the issue. It fixed nothing.

I had high expectations after doing research and reading reviews… it exceeded them. I am a FireTV/amazon alexa ecosystem person. This was my first extended experience with a googleTV. It was fast and resonsive compared to the firetv 4k. This replaced a 39 inch Vizio on the patio under a protected pergola. The previous television, you were only able to watch at night and could only hear when within 20 feet. The Hisense you can see from 50 YARDS and the sound that comes out of this thing is incredible! Overall, 100% recomend for people who have bright rooms or a 4 seasons room.

Color quality is good for non-OLED. Supports 120fps VRR for gaming through 2XHDMI. This TV is suitable for movies, shows, and gaming. The only con is that the power cable is a bit short.

Fantastic picture and excellent brightness, google tv is a plus and very responsive with little lag. Had a few non startup issues but the latest firmware seems to have cured that. Excellent tv for the price

Decent tv for the price, if you’re not looking to break the bank. Yeah they’re better tv’s out there but the U8H by Hisense can compete with those more expensive brand names without buying a 2k tv.

It looks like Hisense is a new rising star of TV industry. 55” U8H I purchased demonstrates amazing image quality, tons of pleasant extras like voice tv control and Google assist built in, and attractive design matching my family room interior. It works just fine right out of the box, but some efforts are necessary to perform fine tuning for every input separately. Trust me, result will impress you. I now enjoy using it with my game console, as a PC monitor, and naturally as regular TV for my FiOS TV One. Sound quality is also more than adequate. All in all, it’s one of my best purchases for last year.

I spent a lot of time reading about TV's and ended up picking this one. I have been very pleased and am constantly blown away by the picture quality and high refresh rate. It's truly a joy to use.

So far, so good. The picture quality is fantastic, and the Google TV is very easy to use. I did a few minor picture corrections, but overall, it is a great TV for the price.

What an EXCELLENT TV ! I bought my first 55” Hisense 4K TV 12 years ago. It finally developed a very thin (about a single pixel wide), vertical, black stripe, which ran from the top to the bottom of the screen. It was barely noticeable, but it bothered me. After 12 years of DEPENDABLE use, I decided my good, old TV didn’t owe me anything! So, I bought another, new, 55” Hisense U8H. The technological advances are nothing short of AMAZING and I paid less than half what my first, 55” Hisense TV cost!!! I COULDN’T BE HAPPIER !

A beast of a tv. The best speakers in a tv. You don't need a sound bar with this tv and the image quality is the best. Quality of a high end tv on a lowee cost. A must buy

I am loving this tv. The android tv interface is annoying but useable. Set it to Filmmaker Mode for excellent image quality. 4k 120hz hdr on PS5 is amazing. Cant beat it for the price

Fantastic television. This is the best TV set I’ve ever had. The colors pop off screen and the blacks are super dark. Highly recommend, especially below 700 bucks.

Excellent tv everything about it is amazing. I use it with PS5 everyday.....and series s on different occasions the 120hz option is ballin

I’ve had some technical/software issues but it’s been a great TV overall.

Excellent brightness and colors and feature set with android TV. However using it in a dual monitor setup with my PC causes problems if the TV is turned off it occasionally causes my other monitor to toggle and goes black as if i changed resolution or something. Using it as the main PC display however is fine and great.

Great value for the money. The picture is great and features are easy to use. Highly recommend this TV.

Excellent picture quality, fairly easy to set up the Google TV account (when starting from factory default), good sound. I'm knocking a full star off due to how intrusive and annoying their microphones are. If you use the hardware mic switch to disable it, the TV will leave four orange LEDs lit at all times, even when the TV is off. There is no way to disable them in software and you can find tons of reviews requiring electrical tape to cover them. If you flip the switch to on and then manually disable all apps from using it it's ok, but this is a ham-handed fix to something I didn't want on the TV in the first place.
