I had to go back and do an exchange for something reliable .

Best Basic 65" TV for the price (under $350)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Our main living room Plasma finally went out after 15 years, We needed a new TV that has most of the modern features. I looked it up for the best deal and TV, and think I found it. Thanks Best Buy for the lowest price I could find (around SuperBowl time) and fast delivery. I could have waited a few mos. for probably the best clearance price, but we needed one then. RTings had it as the best 2024 TV for the lowest price: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/best/tvs-on-the-market Really like the picture quality, great color, nice Google OS with minimal lag (responsive), nice remote, all ports you coluld want like Earc for sound bar if desired, (no 2.1 ports however for premuim gaming - we just need VCR and Blueray ports which it has), puts out decent sound (has DTS digital, plently loud enough for our big living room - not buying a sound bar, its good enough) and decent brightness (~350-400 Nits I have heard - its slightly brighter than our old expensive Plasma). Its definitely an upgrade compared to what we had and it's been running great so far. Very pleased. Only cons I have noticed, its still nice in HDR formats, but its not a Mini LED, QLED, OLED, and it doesn't have the peak brightness, anti-glare screen, local dimming for blacks as the more expensive TVs have for premium movie watching for it to be "stunning" or the 120/144Hz refresh rate 2.1 ports for premium gaming if you are into that. It does have the 2.0 ports for normal gaming though. If the above is important, you'll need to go up a tier and pay more. The Hisense 65U7N or comparable TCL have these features and are nice for a lowest tier price (~$700) I have read about. I have debated about going up a tier, as we do watch HDR/Dolby movies occassionally, but the 65A7N is really nice, supports HDR/Dolby, and very good for most all viewing, so why pay more? The benefits of the higher tier TVs are real but fairly small and just not worth the significant higher price to me. Still a tough decision ; ) But very happy with this TV none the less.

Sharp, Vibrant, and Easy to Use

The picture is sharp, colors are vivid, and motion is super smooth, especially for sports and gaming. The setup was quick and user-friendly, and the smart features run fast without lag. Sound quality is solid too, which makes it great even without extra speakers. Definitely an excellent value for the price.

Great Picture BUT...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this TV over a month ago. Cannot get my soundbar and the TV Lip Sync to match up. Finally had to disconnect the sound bar to get any reasonable sync. Even with that and following all the instructions the lip sync is still off. Have done a factory reset twice, no change. As far as support help, it's a joke. Sent 2 tickets for help and no response. Tried the online chat and got cut off. It's a shame I now have a new TV and can't use my soundbar. I am grateful that the TV does have half way decent speakers.

Received tv damaged and would not exchange
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up the tv from 9997 e Washington street Indianapolis IN. Once it was set up the tv was damaged. Took it back to the store and they told me they would not exchange the tv. It was within a 5 hour time frame. All happened in the same day. Do not go to this specific store. I’m not sure if this is how it is at every store but this specific one is bad business.

Needs repair barely after 3 months
