Purchased as a black friday deal. The price was incredible at only $300 plus tax. After using it a month plus here are pros and cons for it: Pros- gorgeous picture, easy to setup, chromecast built in for easy pairing to my android phone, numerous apps, smart tv, remote has netflix and youtube buttons built in Con (and this is more of an inconvenience/ 1st world problem)- there are random times the wifi doesn't automatically connect and I have to enter the wifi password and then it'll connect with no issues. Overall I would give this tv 4.75 stars/5 with only losing because of the 1st world inconvenience I mentioned with wifi connecting

I got a great deal on Black Friday and spent less than $400 on this 65” LED smart tv which was an amazing deal because that price included 2 years of Geek Squad protection, haul away of my old 70” projection tv, and fast delivery. I love that it doesn’t really have a trim around it like most TV’s. It has a great clear picture and I love the APPs it came installed with because there must be thousands of free movies and shows that are or were popular and I don’t have to pay to be able to watch them. I also love that it has chrome cast and that I can control it with my Google Home mini. The remote is awesome because you can talk into it to watch what you want or even ask it questions because the tv has Google Assistant built in. The only negative thing is my son dropped the remote on our tile floor so many times we can no longer use the google assistant. I also love that the remote has buttons that automatically take you to YouTube, Vudu, etc. it also has great sound and the volume goes higher than any other tv I ever had. Like I think it goes up to 100 but I never have to raise it higher than 10 and even at that level it’s really loud. The other negative is that sometimes it freezes and I have to u plug it and plug it back in to get it back working. But you get what you pay for, but for what I spent it really is a great tv and I’m more than glad I purchased it! Customer provided, click to load a larger version

I bought this after much deliberation on Black Friday via the website. The total was $300 plus free shipping. I was upgrading a ten year old Samsung UN55c6300 which is 55" and still functioning fine, just wanted something bigger. I had no prior experience really with Hisense TVs but am impressed so far. The picture isn't the best or as solid as the Samsung perhaps, but it's good none the less. I think it's fine. The sound is much louder than I would have expected, and better than the Samsung I own. Three HDMI ports was a little bit of a downgrade for me, but most budget tv's only have two ports, so I made due. The build quality seems good and the apps are great. We use TNT, CBS, Amazon, and Youtube currently. I prefer using the ethernet port and have no issue with connection so far, minus a little hesitation here and there with streaming. The built in Chromecast is great and works well, we originally had a Gen 2 Chromecast hooked up to our other TV, so it's nice that this was built in. The item was delivered promptly and by a couple nice people. Overall for $300 I think I got a very good deal as long as there is some longevity to this set. Hits all my boxes. The picture and sound are solid, but won't blow anyone away. I do think they are good though, overall. My only other small gripe is the options are a little limited for picture modifications.

I got this TV in Black Friday for $299. We were a little hesitant of choosing it over a known brand like Samsung, but all our worries were soon blown away once we turned it on. Picture: 9/10 Wow! With a warm color temperature, the picture is incredible. The clarity of 4k with popping colors is beautiful. Colors are a little saturated but it can that can be tweaked down (some content can look better saturated). Brightness: 7/10 Like most budget TVs, it does not get extremely bright. If you raise the brightness level, the image washes out very quick. So its best to leave it be and raise the backlight instead. Backlight: 8/10 Once again, wow! This TV goes far without having local dimming. Most dark objects get truly black without almost zero bleeding. There is a slight navy blue bleed in high contrast regions (like movie bezels). Software: 6/10 Android TV runs a bit laggy and slows down a lot if you are tweaking settings while playing videos in the apps. Some people complained about Wifi issues. I didn't touch the Wifi and used ethernet which works perfectly. Lots of calibration settings. Sadly your settings are specific to the HDMI port (multiple profiles would've been nice). Build: 7/10 Back is a little thick because of the backlight and circuits. The second pair of foot slots (about 3 feet apart) literally saved us from buying a new table. Overall, this may be a 7/10 TV, but for the price, its a 10/10. High end models may have better blacks and brightness, but they come with a hefty premium. In 2019, even a entry 4k TV looks amazing and this TV is good enough for most content. If you are shopping on a budget, this model is on par with brand name budget options. Now if reliability holds up, I think I have gotten a steal. If you want more detailed specs, rtings.com has an excellent review (model H6570f).

I was really concerned with the software on this TV. It was pretty much unusable after I updated and downloaded Hulu. I fought with it a couple days. It would lock up on Hulu and randomly start Hulu. I decided to uninstall all of the preloaded apps I could and disabled those I couldn’t. I uninstalled Hulu and just used my fire stick for it. Man, since then it has been great. Not sure what app I deleted or disabled that did the trick, I suspect Hulu, $299 for a 65” I was going to give it a chance. I don’t believe it really has 120hz refresh rate though. Sports are blurry during fast action.

This tv is amazing. The color is awesome all These other companies better look out. This is great tv. I turned it on once it did the set up and the tv was already blasting without any extra speakers. So I’m like Omg this is awesome. I have never had a tv this good without speakers. and it was easy to mount on the wall. This tv can complete head on with any tv. This is the best deal 65 inches of love and fun. I got an old Xbox 369 from eBay and it look so awesome on this tv. If anyone read this article wait to buy electronics at the end of the year you will not be sorry you get like 70% off the original price. Big thanks to Best Buy for a great deal and delivery!

The TV is BIG! There are a few complains about the sound system but I personally think the speakers are OK. Set up was easy and software upgrade took about a couple minutes but no issue. Picture wise, i love it. Maybe i never had a 4K TV before and its an upgrade for me. I was hesitating when I order this from Black Friday deal but Im glad I did it. So far no issue and its working GREAT! Thanks BB.

I bought this TV in the Black Friday sale a couple of weeks ago. Replacing an older 55" TV, I was just looking for the most 4K screen real estate I could get for a decent price. Originally had my sights set on a 75" TV, but the (much) lower cost of this 65" TV made more sense ($550 vs. $300). For a flat screen, the sound isn't bad. My inputs are fed through an A/V receiver, but when using the TV's apps, I'm stuck with the built-in speakers. They are fine for dialogue, but you'll probably want something better for watching movies. I'm too used to my Fire stick to switch to the built-in apps, but I did play around with them briefly. The remote has a microphone for voice commands, and dedicated buttons to launch Netflix, YouTube, Google Play, and Vudu. I think I could be very happy with the TV's Android system, if I had to give up my Fire. I'm a little sorry that I have little use for the TV's excellent remote control. Finally, if you are worried about going with a lesser-known brand, stop worrying. I've been continuously shopping for TVs for years, and Hisense has been getting great reviews for as long as I can remember. I have a number of no-name TVs, and they have all worked very well for me. At the rate prices are coming down, it just doesn't make sense to spend a lot for a big name brand. Get this one on sale, and you won't be disappointed.

Promptly delivered. Carried in and set down where I would install it. I've had this set about a month and so far it is a very good tv that was easy to set up. Got it on Black Friday, so it is a Great set for the price. Current price is show as $400, and it is still a very good buy at that price. I have a much more expensive 65" Hisense H9 QLED in my bedroom, and while you may be able to see a difference if they were side by side, when I try to compare by walking from one room to the next, I see little, if any, practical difference. Very happy with this purchase.

Great TV! Never had any issues. Only downfall was it’s weakness to 3-year-olds with lightsabers. When confronted, the TV will fail. Suggest that they provide better combat training before shipping.

I am amazed at what I got for the doorbuster. I didn't open the box until a week later debating if I wanted to exchange it for a Samsung to replace my 2011 55in Samsung 7 series (with 3D....) Out of curiosity, I removed the TV, set it up, and wow. Appearance: First impression was the solid backing of this TV. Most lower end tvs have plastic backings and this one was solid metal for the most part. The bottom half that houses the main board and inputs/output is plastic. It didnt feel like the TV would break just by picking it up. Setup: I ran into no issues with the setup, even after the software update that many previous reviews mentioned. NOTE: after the update downloads, the tv screen will go black for several minutes be patient and do not unplug the TV. Coming from a 1080p TV from 2011, I'm amazed of the color and clarity that comes out of this Hisense. This TV was a pleasant upgrade without breaking the bank. The colors are nice and is comparable to the Samsung 40in 4K 6 series I purchased last year. The blacks do not come out as black as the 2011 OLED TV I had but thats OLED. cant really use that to compare. When i fond the time, I will tweak the picture settings to find that sweet spot with colors. The TV does appear to be dark and turning up the brightness turns all the black to greys. Luckily, my tv sots in a dark area so its plenty bright when watch movies. I plugged in my PS4 that hasn't been on in many months and gave a totally different experience. Larger screen, more color depth. The motion completely fluid when playing first person shooters (Destiny 2, Call of Duty Modern Warfare). I have not watched any live football on it yet so hoping its the same. The android tv i dont really care too much for as I have many other 4k streaming devices. I assume the android OS will become quite sluggish when more and more apps are installed so I recommend to choose wisely on how many apps you install. Im sure thats a given. Sound: the tv speakers worked well on wall mount. Not sure if it is on a stand. The setup with my Marantz was very easy and played well with my logitech hub. I can finally use dolby atmos now that i have a 4k tv. this review is a bit chatty and for good reason. If you aren't looking to spend too much and want a 65in TV, I want to say that the Hisense is not a bad buy coming from a random consumer that is still a Samsung fan. Now I am a Hisense believer. NOTE: I recently remembered I bought an inexpensive Hisense 40in (almost 2 years ago) for my niece that stays on at least 5 hours a day whether she is watching or not. The TV is still working well and no issues reported other than she wants a bigger TV. :-)

Nice 65" TV on a budget

Hisense acquired TV manufacturing from Toshiba, so the Hisense TVs are really quality products under budget disguises. I bought the 65" before Thanksgiving at Doorbuster price, and I am really happy with it. I like the specs and "smart" features of the TV including voice control, and the apps that come with it (my essentials are Prime Video and Youtube). The picture quality is decent for viewing Blu-ray movies (still waiting for price drops of those 4K players) and playing games on PS4, and the sound quality is fairly decent (for watching Youtube contents when TV speakers are adequate; for others, I use a dedicated sound system). One subtle thing about the remote is that it is both IR and Bluetooth enabled; the Bluetooth is only on after the TV is on, so the very first "turn on" operation would be through IR, and line of sight is required; but once it is on, the operation will be done via Bluetooth so the remote does not have to be pointed to the TV to operate. The final nice touch of the TV is the two options for supporting legs - one at 4 feet apart (shown in the ad picture), the other at 2 feet apart. This is important for me: my TV stand, which was used to support a 46" TV is not wide enough for the 4 feet option, but is perfect for the 2 feet option, so I did not have to buy another larger TV stand. This is great, as most of the 65" and above TVs have rather wide footprint, which would force people to upgrade their TV stands. Overall I like my new Hisense 65" TV very much, and will see how long the fun will last.

I got this TV for 299 and for me was a great deal. Sure this is far to be a perfect TV but for 299 delivers more than required. Sound in this TV is something for me to bring in attention since it is really but really good, my LG is far to be in the level of this Hisense in terms of sound. Quality also is fair, you see some issue here and there but it ok for the price...Android TV also work fine so far it is responsive and work fine. Problems I have got so far, not big memory to install apps. Don't think you will be able to install tons of apps on it - Will be only the basics stuff. Bluetooth connective is not stable if you plan to use bluetooth don't buy it. DLNA is also something work just great since it runs 4K smooth comparing other TV`s I have.

I bought this TV during Black Friday 2019 sales. I had high hopes given the price of the TV and the original picture quality. Setup was a bit annoying since I don’t have an Android phone but in general the TV worked great. Accessing apps is easy adding new apps was easy and the built in Chomecast was great. Then as I was watching it on February 9th 2020 a white strip appeared on the screen. I emailed Hisense customer service which took 3 days to get a response and the only response so far is the pictures I sent weren’t good enough for them to assess the issue. After calling to talk to customer service the problem got worse as we spoke on the phone and went from a white line to a large black line. Now the TV screen will only turn on to black. The customer service representative was not much help and only asked for more pictures and informed if the TV was damaged it wouldn’t be covered (it’s not damaged at all). Then said they would get back to me in 24-48 business hours. We’ll see if this goes anywhere but other reviews indicate they are full of stall tactics. A friend also purchased the same TV and they are on their second as the first one failed within a month of the purchase date.

Purchased this TV to have some flexibility with a computer monitor (32") that sits next to my 65" Smart TV of another brand. Both are 4K. The picture is amazing. The features are incredible. Initially just connecting the WiFi (no cables) the content was overwhelming (in a good way). Free channels as well as other content available. Easy to customize. Very impressed.

Got this TV on black Friday deal. Pros: Nice picture Good sound - however we need a sound bar for real 4K experience. Cons: Android software Refresh rate is 60Hz even if it's advertised as 120Hz. It's really nice TV if you have a 4K Amazon fire stick (not planning to use any APP from Android TV) and Sound bar. Turn off the WiFi connection of the TV to avoid the sw update reminders. TV detected a new software update yesterday and tried to install many times, but failed (No way to skip the installation). I had to switch off the router and disable WiFi on the TV to recover from this endless loop.

This tv was really cheap on black Friday. it is working as I expected. I still need to tweak the picture more but it is fast at connecting to Netflix or tv antenna. It is android and is easy to use, the sound is ok, I am using it connected to a receiver using HDMI ARC, one remote to turn volume up and down. Overall I am glad I got this tv, It has Bluetooth and chrome cast witch I have not used yet but this option is usually only on the high dollar tvs.
