Picture is good. Obviously not to the level of like a TCL 6 series, or something in that range, but for the price I paid, I am very pleased. Looks crisp as a monitor as well. Android interface is ok, but there are some goofy choices in navigation. I miss having a full blown channel guide like my previous Samsung had - this TV only shows what is currently playing on a station, and the next program up (no way to scroll through the programming, and you have to do it channel by channel). I really only have one large gripe, and this is the main reason I knocked a star off - After I spent the time getting passwords entered on the TV, it performed an update, and it cleared all of the passwords I had just set. Later that day, it downloaded another update, and did it again. Hopefully I don't have to set up my accounts every time this TV has a firmware update.

I own a 50" Hisense was very happy so when this 65 went on sale, I grabbed it. Works a little different due to the Android system I guess. Overall, I am happy with purchase, but potential buyers need to know:
slow response to channel changes so really bad for channel surfing. sometimes I hit the channel up button and nothing happens so I hit is again and again only to find out I just skipped like four channels.
Always turns on the homepage like a computer, not on a TV channel so if you mainly use this with internet, great for you. If you mainly use this for TV, then a few extra steps.
Overall, for the size and image quality, I am happy with the unit, but like my 50 more.

Like everyone I was skeptical about buying a TV that i haven't seen or heard of. If I'm being honest, I kind of HAD remembered the name Hisense from somewhere but couldn't put my finger on it.
Anyways did some research and they actually were a sponsor for the WORLD CUP. So that's where I remember seeing the name from. HAHA
Anyways as far as the TV, ITS AMAZING. Great picture, the software I have no issues with. I don't see any slow or lagging as some of the comments I'm seeing. It has built in apps already, ready to use so that's great. I dont have an android device to see if i can do a screen mirroring, which would be awesome to do. If anyone has done this, let me know.
Keep in mind that in order to get 4K signal, you need FAST internet to stream 4K content. You need 4K/UHD subscription to Netflix/Hulu/Disney+ etc. You also need a 4K receiver/cable box, and 4K HDMI cable as well. Is not as easy as plug and play and get 4K display. Especially for the ones who are UPGRADING TVs that are 3+ years old.

I dont usually buy high end TVs all my Televisions are TCL brand with roku. I have always liked budget tvs because of the price and value. This tv is a little laggy on the android OS side but picture quality is very good for the price I got it.

Did not have high expectations since price was so low. Was actually going to purchase the h9f model until this was available on black friday. Got it delivered so I didn't have to deal with fitting it in my suv or carrying it inside my house. I have had it for a week now and am completely blown away by the quality. Picture is very nice. When I first turned it on I was on cartoon network and could not believe how nice the colors looked for a cartoon show. I have several TCL 4 series 4k tvs and the picture is even better then them. Setup was a breeze since it just copied all my info from my phone and connected to my home network. I have watched football and basketball and there was no noticable motion blurr like my previous vizio. I have streamed numerous movies on Netflix, Disney +, and amazon without issue. Sound is fine and can get plenty loud enough if needed. Would definitely recommend this tv to anyone. Would even pay full price as it performs very well. If I would complain about anything it would be the remote. It feels very cheap and is very large. Another positive is that this tv is super light. Easy to hang from a wall and not have to worry.

This is my first 4k TV purchase. To me, the picture quality is very good. Do you expect a Ferrari for the price of a Honda? If no, then this is a great budget friendly TV. The setup was super easy with a google account. While some of the Ferrari drivers might not like the sound, I found the sound quality to be quite good for tv speakers. My son loves that his phone can stream videos and his music to the TV. The voice command remote control is useful, and my wife found it easy to operate. We added apps to get our favorite channels without having to get a 2nd cable box. The best part is that we connected the TV to our wifi system. That means, we only have 1 wire to deal with (power cord). My son did push to put the xbox on it, so that added a 2nd cord (HDMI). The games look amazing. The kids cartoons are so colorful and bright in 4k. Lastly, 65" is a massive expanse of viewing area! We watched The Mandalorian on our new tv as our first show, and it was like being at the theater. Some TVs may be better, but the $299 that I paid as a doorbuster on black Friday was a steal!

I've never had an Android TV before so I was a bit skeptical about this TV. This TV is so much better than other TVs at this price. Even when it isn't Black Friday, the price for this TV is very low. I still don't know if it can handle HDR as advertised but nonetheless, the picture on it's screen looks amazing. The only problem I was having was with changing audio and picture settings. They would reset back to default every once in a while and I would have to change everything again. I would buy it again if I needed another TV.

Pros:
Picture: Very good, even brightness, dark blacks.
Audio: Had to turn on Voice Enhancements to get normal sound.
Other: Able to load Android apps instead of having to wait/hope that the set vendor will decide to include features available on any smart phone.
Media player handles Audio formats in video files that my Roku TV's do not.
Cons:
Media player is kind of brain dead. Captions have to be turned back on for each file, each time you enter the file. Appears to be the same for other media options. It does remember you location if you exit and then return to a file.
The HomePage/LaunchPad can not be fully replaced in the same way it can for the standalone android box. Even if you add other launchers, the home button will always take you to the stock launcher. The Stock launcher is a sales platform, with autoplay preview suggestions turned on for each new item by default. Add an app, and you will have to go through several menus to get rid of unwanted suggestions. (Worse than FireTV, not at all like Roku) But you can turn most of them off, but even if you disable all previews, you favorite apps will be displayed on a single roll that you will have to scroll through from side-to-side. If you like suggestions and preview, then go for it.
Menu options seem confused at times. Laid out by a programmer instead of a user. For example ClosedCaption and Subtitles are controlled by separate menus with different fonts and color options, and both are separated by many layers of menu tree.

So this is my first 65-inch tv and I have to say I'm pleased with the picture. It's bright enough, colorful and has plenty of interesting features, etc. The sound is good too (though it is a bit tinny). But there are at least two reasons to stay away from this tv.
First, it's powered by Android TV. This is my first experience with the OS and I'm unimpressed. It's somewhat janky, clunky and doesn't even allow for downloads via a browser (which it also doesn't have natively; you have to download a third-party one like Puffin). I'm guessing either the ram or processor (or both) are just not up to par because it just doesn't run well. But you can actually tweak the OS to run quicker by enabling dev options and adjusting the timing values (from default 1.0 to .5 or even 0). To go along with this issue is the biggest problem of them all; certain channels run way behind when you start a video. Here is an example: Start up Hulu and notice it runs pretty slow. Then attempt to run a video on Hulu and the sound will start but the video is not there. It'll either be stuck on one frame that did manage to load or it'll be a blank screen. It usually takes 30 seconds to a full minute before the picture catches up. I've found that if you hit the fast forward and then stop/play the picture magically catches up but I shouldn't have to do this. This doesn't happen in Netflix but does in Disney+. So it's possible a software update could fix Hulu and Disney+ (Amazon prime is fine too) but geez this is embarrassing for Google.
The second main issue is I use an aux cable to connect my Samsung speaker bar. It has bluetooth but as many know bluetooth tends to lag behind about .5 to a full second in terms of sound to video so I use the cable to keep things in sync. Based on my previous comment the TV already has trouble keeping things in sync and it's made worse by the fact that sometimes (despite all settings being correct) the sound simply doesn't work at all. You either need to reboot the tv or just pray. Worst part of all of this is we get fed up with the janky AndroidTV and plugged a 4K fire stick in (night and day difference by the way) and it works fabulous but sometimes it too won't have any sound through the speaker bar; I have to change the input back to androidTV then back to the fire stick and sound magically works. Also, every great now and then, we will finish a video, I'll hit the home button on the fire stick remote and it takes me back to the fire tv home menu but everything has a heavy shade of green on it. From what I can see, there is nothing in the fire tv settings to fix this. The only fixes I've found is to turn the tv on/off or switch input back to AndroidTV then back to fire tv (which annoyingly means you have to use the included remote as the fire tv remote cannot change input).
That is a lot to read but I wanted to be thorough. For me, being a techie person I find the annoyances to be manageable but for the common person this tv is a bust. Go for an actual FireTV or Roku; they work a lot better.

The Hisense 65" Smart 4K UHD TV is absolutely wonderful. I bought this TV online at the Black Friday sale for a very very reasonable price. I thought I was just getting a cheap knockoff of a TV because of the price. My brother even commented that Hisense isn't a name brand TV. But we were both wrong.
I have a 50" Samsung smart TV and a 50" LG. Both TV's are considered top name brands. This Hisense out shines all of my other TV's. The picture is crisp and clear. The SOUND is unbelievable. I had guest over to my home for Thanksgiving and they commented that I do not need a sound bar. My brother and his wife refused to leave. After watching my TV, my brother dropped his 50" Samsung off at my house, left and bought him a 65" the same day, and he wasn't even planning to buy a TV.
I hate leaving my house.

I was very skeptical because of the price, but I have been very pleased. I got it just in time to play Final Fantasy 7 Remake in 4K, and it did not disappoint.
Having 3 HDMIs is also a plus.
This is my first smart TV. Although I hate the menu, I was happy that I was able to download all of my other streaming apps (I was worried about that because they weren't expressly listed in the details).
If these are still at this price point when I move into my new place this month, I will buy 1-2 more.

As others have stated, this turned out to be be a far better TV than I expected for $300 (Black Friday special). Picture and color are very good, sound is bearable, and there are only occasional moments of the dreaded "screen-door effect" in quick motion sequences. They are so brief in duration, however, that you only notice them if you're deliberately looking for them. Given that this is a 65" screen, I can only say that this is one of the bet purchase I have ever made.

A really nice and very cheap 65" TV. Good quality of pixels and the android app works perfectly fine on my phone. Connects to bluetooth and wifi way better than my older TV which back then costs 1000$. Really happy with this purchase I was hesitant at first because 65" smart UHDTV for 300? It felt like its gonna have issues but really nothing. Would recommend this if you're on a budget and doesn't really care about brands.

I fell in lobe with this tv. I brought it around Black Friday and brought an Xbox too. Both came out a little over 500 dollars. Tell yourself 65 inches 4K for 300 it can be 400 that’s a great price for a tv with all the spec this has. Just a great buy and I I’m in love with a new brand.

We got 2 of these for our kids for Christmas at the Black Friday price. They love the size, of course. Our son has figured out all kinds of features and what’s to get together with his sister to show her. He is able to play games that are on the TV. He has figured out how to hook a keyboard up to it, so he can type in his search instead of using the qwerty keyboard on the screen. They are both very happy with this TV.
