Bought it for value as well as being android which offers less restrictions over a roku or Amazon fire operating system including HBO max access which the others don't have for now.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After a month of ownership and daily use, I can confidently say Android TV runs awful on this TV. Either it's not optimized well enough, or the TV just doesn't have the processing power to run it well. The TV needs a solid minute to run smoothly after turning it back on from sleep mode. It also does not close the app you were last in when you put the TV in sleep mode (it doesn't fully shut down), so when you wake it back up it's trying to start back up in the app where you left off and it just lags and performs terribly. To have the TV not do those shenanigans, you can choose to press and hold the power button to select a full shut down of the tv. When powering on after a full shut down, the TV will then have to do a full boot up sequence of Android TV, which takes equally as long as just waiting for the TV to actually wake up and be usable out of sleep mode. On top of this, apps keep crashing while streaming content, Chrome Cast lags, and the apps randomly sign me out causing me to have to painfully log in again with the laggy remote. The remote has a Bluetooth functionality that is suppost to reduce the lag of the remote, but every time you put the TV in sleep mode the remote disconnects from the TV, prompting you to have to re-pair the remote every time if you really want the better Bluetooth experience. Oh and the Android TV remote app is absolute garbage. Infinitely worse than the TV's operating system. If I hadn't gotten this TV for a smokin hot deal, I would have gladly returned it by now. Sadly, there's no other/better 65" 4k TV even close to $250, even during Black Friday deals. Had a lot of high hopes for this TV, seeing it's modern features and the potential of Android TV running very well on other TV's, but my 3 year old TCL 4k Roku TV runs circles around this TV's OS. The picture quality is adequate enough, but aside from that it seems you get what you pay for with this TV. I'll be selling it off immediately after a better deal/value comes along. 1 star for adequate picture quality + 1 more star for the good deal. If I hadn't got it for 50% off, it'd absolutely be 1 star only.

This is not a typical issue with our units and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please perform a factory reset on the television by going to Settings>Device Preferences>Reset. The television will then shut off and after coming back on will prompt you to set up the TV like when it was just out of box. For the money this isn’t bad, but for the same money you can buy something else. This TV has a serious backlight bleed. The remote although nice and responsive has on one occasion for me stopped working completely. Interface takes a bit to get used to and strangely enough, it doesn’t have access to certain apps that Roku has. I’m sure that’s vice versa but you lose options as a consumer. I recommend buying a Roku TV or paying 50 bucks more to get a Samsung TV.

Not the best picture quality but okay for price

This is a lower cost Brand of TV I understand that you get what you pay for. The sound is loud at even the lowest volume setting. Kind of wobbly on legs as it tilts a little forward. Thought there would be more apps to chose from like on my Roku stick but there are not that many. The remote control turns my small plug in fairy lights on and off and makes them flash - it's annoying. Overall - this TV is average. For the price I paid for a 65 inch vs a 50 inch Samsung I chose size over quality. If you want stunning picture quality this is not the TV for you.
