GREAT TV ! Definitely recommend if ..

My TV came in earlier today and I’ve been using it for a couple of hours. I must say I only payed $250 for this TV and it is amazing. Overall it’s fast and runs smooth, I have yet to experience it lagging at all. The Android OS is pretty nice, it’s my first time using a tv with this software . As of now I am impressed and definitely satisfied with this purchase .

Highly recommend a different tv

This tv is a great for the price the picture is amazing and the sound is good! But the software lags alot and makes it not enjoyable experience. I wish I would have spent more to get the samsung rather than this. The software is my main complaint over all its not smooth as i hoped for. Also you can not down load the spectrum tv app on this tv you will need to get a external device. Over all get a different tv you will regret this one.

Cheap because it will stop working

Long story short, just spent 470 on an insignia because the Hisense doesn't want to turn on. There is an issue with these that occurs after the warranty is up and they won't own up to it. 250 is pretty cheap amd might be worth the headache in 18 months though.

Stick to a name brand

I was inbetween this and the vizio but they didnt have any in stock so I just went with this. I've only had it a week and it sucks. When it hooks up to bluetooth its muffled and unclear, its slow when trying use the directionals on the remote, it will time out randomly and freeze. Just stick to a name brand.

All around great tv

Excellent image quality and the user interface is smooth and intuitive. Androidtv is very easy to use and I love that I can cast from my phone to my screen seamlessly. Build quality is great, lots of features, I do not regret this purchase. For the price it’s well worth it. Upgraded from a Samsung 55 inch. Use it for movies, shows and gaming on Xbox one s.

Picture is fine- as a "Smart" TV its awful

To turn on and actually start watching a show is the longest process I have ever had with a TV. Everything takes too long to load and the Google operating system is terrible. Navigating through shows on Netflix or Sling is a awkward process. For my kids playing video games or just running a show on the antenna- it's fine. I would never buy this TV again. And for the record, I am comparing it to a TCL and its Roku operating system which I had before. The Roku was great.

Save yourself

Sometimes things just never play, or sometimes if it does play it’s super glitchy and lags. The voices don’t match the lips often. I wish I would have never bought this tv. We have several other brands in our home, and we should have just bought a vizo again.

Horrible brand

The first one arrived to me and wouldn't power on. I contacted Hisense and about a month later I was sent a new TV. I have had that one for about a year and a half now. Whenever I try to switch to Game mode to play my PS4 the TV just automatically shuts itself off. It seems like whenever a bright image is displayed on the TV it shuts itself off as well. After searching on the internet I see that this is a known problem with their TV's. I contacted Hisense support and they said too bad, You'll have to pay someone to fix it cause there is nothing we can do about it. I have a few other TV's in my house by a major reputable brand, some that I've had for over 10 years and have not had a single problem with them. I would avoid this brand like the plague. On paper it seems like their TV's are a good deal, but you will be kicking yourself a couple years down the road that you didn't purchase a more reliable brand when you have to buy a new TV cause your Hisense died on you.

Bad quality

I made a very negative review under that model which is not on market anymore. I guess this is a good way to reset negative reviews. I make the new review here to share the bad experience I had so people can think about it again before purchase or at least purchase necessary warranty with it.

Have owned this TV 1 year, worst ever.

You need to reset where the sound comes from every time you Power Off the TV (long press power button). Google chrome cast built in? DOESN'T WORK (yet it google cast works on my 10yr old TV) ... NEVER buying Hisense again, you really do get what you pay for! Cheap!

Useless after only 2 months!!

Unfortunately Best Buy only gives a 15 day return policy so we are unable to return a useless tv. It constantly freezes and lags and also turns on and off on it’s own. Now we will have to buy a new tv after we just bought this brand new one 2 months ago. I would not recommend buying this tv! Do not be fooled by the price and positive reviews.
