    TV died after 17 months. Google "Hisense H8F Boot Loop" prior to purchasing and consider an extended warranty. My TV is stuck in a loop and fails to apply the firmware Hisense provided as a potential fix. Further support is not being provided due to the expired (12 mo) warranty. This TV is now a shiny black frame hanging on my wall. Also, Hisense added Advertisements to their home screen a couple months ago. Ad-free TV was one of my main selling points originally.

    Good picture but freezes up every few minutes.

    Bought this TV not even a month ago and within a week of having it, it shuts off randomly, freezes up, can't bring up apps, locks up in the advertisements so they play over and over. I paid a little extra money thinking this one was better then a TCL but most of the time this TV won't even come on. Constantly having to reset it or unplug it just to get it to come back on. Highly do not recommend! Money wasted.

    Well, a long store I'll make short! The TV, as far as I researched and Blogged, is a great price point. This retailer, on the other hand, I'm besides my self! I STILL DON'T have my TV, been told it's in transit....NOT once, NOT twice, 3x's!!! How can this be in transit and not arrive?!? This was informed to me, in person, from BEST BUY support! I can NOT understand blatant misinformative and deceit! And no compensation for my time and my money being held with NO item!

    An Affordable BIG Screen TV

    Prior to this 65" Hisense, the largest TV I have owned was a 52" from a well known high-end manufacturer. Like this Hisense model (H8F), my 52" set had 4k resolution as well. But I had heard that 4k wasn't easily discernible to the naked eye unless your TV was closer to 60" or larger. I now know that this is a true statement. This TV makes 4k content really pop! Pros: - Like I said above, the 4k picture is fantastic. I'm watching Thursday Night Football as I write this review and the picture is the best I've seen in any living room. - The price point is fantastic considering the picture quality and features that this TV comes with. - This is my 2nd TV that runs off of Android OS and I have found it to work very well on both sets. With this being an Android TV I can connect it to my Google Home to use voice commands. The remote control also accepts voice commands. Cons: - Sound is OK, but like all TVs these days, you really want to invest in a sound bar or surround sound system for high quality audio. - Menu navigation can be sluggish at times. I prefer to use my XBox or Apple TV to run streaming media apps. If you are in the market for a large TV, this is a bargain at its current retail price. Make sure you have room for it though. 65 inches sounds great, but sometimes it is possible to be TOO big!

    I’ve heard this tv described as an entry level 4k TV, but from my perspective, I can’t tell the difference between this tv and the high end 4k TV I have in my den. The picture seems every bit as clear and sharp as any other big screen TV I’ve seen. I also love the Android TV feature. I use an Android phone which made it easy for me to understand and set up. Setting up the TV was amazingly simple. All I had to do is got to my phone and launch the Google app. From there it walked me through setting up a new device. It copied my Google account to the TV and that was it. Once set up I was able to access the android menu on the TV and load the apps I wanted to use. I was able to search the Google Play store using voice commands. This is a great feature! IF you have ever tried to type using a TV remote, you will love this feature. If you would prefer to use a regular keyboard, you can connect a bluetooth keyboard to the TV as well. Another great feature this TV has is built in Chromcast so you can cast anything from your Android phone. The remote itself has voice capability and Google Assistant. As a test, I pressed the voice button on the remote and said, “Show me videos about whales” and up popped a Youtube video of whales jumping out of the water! Next I asked it to show me videos of the solar system and it showed me a selection of Solar system videos to choose from. Next I asked it for the weather forecast for tomorrow. Within seconds, it displayed the current temperature along with the weather forecast for the rest of the week. Amazing! Physically, the TV is huge as you would expect for a 65” screen, but it is incredibly light at around 45 pounds. The feet can be mounted in two different spacings for wide or narrow entertainment centers. The frame around the TV is very narrow which makes this tv look like it’s all screen. One thing I wish they had done is make the included remote programable to allow it to control the cable box. I’m not a fan of having to switch remotes to use different features, but as far as I know, most other TV manufacturers don’t allow this either. Other than that, I can’t find anything I don’t like about this TV and for the price, it’s a great value.

    I've been looking to upgrade our plasma to a larger display with a decent picture in the $500-$700 range. I thought I would detail the TV's and process we went through, in case it might help others in the same situation. After reading reviews and speaking to staff at BB, we purchased a Vizio M658-G1 Quantum. The contrast and picture was very good, but what we didn't realize was the viewing angle issue with VA panels. The sales person mentioned it, but I didn't realize how much even being slightly off center washed out the colors. We returned this for an LG UM7300 with an IPS display. Viewing angles were good, but of course contrast and black levels were much worse than the Vizio. So we decided to try one more TV, either a TCL 6 or the Hisense. While in the store, the Hisense H8F seemed to have good viewing angles, the demo loop playing from Hisense even mentioned wide viewing angle, but I was very hesitant after the Vizio we had. Buying and returning 65" TV's is not exactly my idea of fun. We had been using Rtings.com to compare specs and reviews and the Hisense had a worse viewing angle rating than the Vizio we had returned. However, after seeing some people mention in reviews and videos that the viewing angles were good, we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did, because this TV is awesome for the price. The viewing angles in our room are excellent for a VA panel. The Android TV experience is pretty good, saves an HDMI port from needing a Chromecast. We are very satisfied with the color, contrast, brightness and overall picture quality for this price of TV.

    Terrible...freezes, looses wifi, sounds cuts off

    This tv started acting up after a few weeks and of course Best Buy has the worse return policy around (15 days). It started freezing up and then it started loosing wifi connection. After about two months the sound started to cut off. The only way to remedy these issues is to restart the tv. We have had this tv for 5 months and I don't think it will last much longer with all the issues going on. I'm just waiting to see what's next.

    I got this tv hoping to get something decent for a strict budget. All I've got in return was a tv with missing parts and a damaged screen. I talked with the GM from the local Best Buy and to corporate but they all came to the same conclusion: They were unable to refund or exchange the product because it was physically damaged but the packaging was not. So now I'm out of $820 and a paperweight sitting on my living room.

    Smart TV?

    It seems unfair 2 Stars, but how come a Smart TV keep glitching all the time and I never know If I am going be able to watch Netflix, Hulu or any other app? Even cleaning cache data, most of the time the TV does not start the apps. I am seriously thinking to send it back. As temporary solution I decided to watch thru My Xbox. I miss Roku. android didnt go well this time.

    Overall this television is great! No problems viewing from any angle. The picture is crisp and clear. I have not noticed any lag in it at all. Very easy to setup though a bit surprised it already needed a update being brand new. Wish it came with more written instructions as I have had to spend a lot of time trying to figure out all the features on my own, the tv guides you through the initial set up so that part is pretty simple. The google assistant is very responsive though I wish it could be used to set the sleep timer. As with most remotes this one is not back lit so using it in a dark room leaves something to be desired. I love the fact that it has two options for the leg placement making it fit on a variety of different width stands! We will be wall mounting it after the holidays but until then this is very useful. It has a very small frame compared to our other tvs which makes me a bit fearful of moving it around since there is less of an edge to grab but its not horrible and it does give a bit more viewing area. I am still getting used to a android tv versus a regular smart tv or roku setup. There was some disappointment that apps my cable provider supports for streaming are not compatible with this unit. While it does have a good amount of inputs (located on the left when facing the front of the unit) the power cord connection is on the right side and a bit short, making it hard if the power source is not located on that side. Wish it was more centered and longer!

    Having a lot of issues connecting to my HBO MAX AND PRIME VIDEO. All my other TVs are having no issues with connecting to these applications. Very disappointed I went with the salesman recommendation vs a name brand TV

    Regret buying this slow TV

    The TV interface is super slow. It takes multiple seconds to respond to any remote button press and loses internet connection any time you start the TV. This has only gotten worse as months have passed. A very cheap software quality. Do not buy.

    Broke in 8 months

    Purchased on 4-30-2020 and it broke New Year’s Day 2021. Completely turned off and has no power. Only my husband and I use the tv in our room. We expected it to last longer then 8 months. What a waste of money!

    If I wanted to buy a TV without streaming service support I would have bought a Vizio. Can't believe that a modern 4K smart TV wouldn't support Prime Video built in.

    I want to start this review by saying I do not think this is as good as more expensive Samsung or Sony options. I could easily be overly picky though. The picture is VERY good for a TV in this price range. The sound left a little to be desired but with the ability to connect to external sound (which I personally almost always do) means this isn't as important. This is a feature rich TV with an abundance of options and with the the Google assistant integration will make an excellent edition if you've chosen to go that route for smart home control. The apps can sometimes be a little sluggish but for the most part work fine. Overall, this is an excellent purchase if you don't want to splurge on the higher end of the more well known name brands.

    Good picture, sound could be better, love the android version because I have an android phone. Love having the google features as well. It does have a problem with the WiFi connection but works well with the Ethernet
