    Great Extra TV

    There are so many TVs on the market that it can be extremely hard to choose one. Out of all the TVs there are many great ones as well. The saying you get what you pay for does not always make sense when it comes to TVs. This TV is a great TV especially if you are looking for something easy on the wallet. I chose to put this TV in my master bedroom and it is amazing mounted on the wall. The only think I will say is that if you are going to use it in a small room it is quite large so do so with discretion. It offers the latest in technology one of my favorites being the 240 GHZ refresh rate. I will say that the User interface and smart TV is great and arguably better then some higher end TVs I have had in the past. The only downside that I have found which might have a fix is that it is quite bright in the dark. Even after changing the brightness it did not change at all. It is possible I am not doing something correctly but it is also not the biggest deal. Although this very well could be your main TV I would recommend it if you are looking for an extra TV for a bedroom or family room.

    I'll start with the positives. I am a big fan of Android and Google-enabled apps. That is what you get with this unit. After unboxing the unit - and without even configuring it for my home WiFi - it prompted me to open up the Google app on my Android phone. From there the app detected the TV and prompted me to accept the auto-setup. This is where the phone and the TV worked great together, transferring my Google account details to the TV - including the home WiFi SSID and password. The setup could not have been easier! It was effectively a hands-off configuration that worked really well. The Google button on the remote is a great feature as well. I can simply press and hold the button to give verbal commands (like to open Netflix). With that said, there are several apps loaded like Netflix and Youtube that one comes to expect with a Smart TV. The Google feature is the value-add here. Now as for the picture quality, this is where the price of the TV reveals itself. If you want a 65" TV with a decent picture, then this may very well be the one for you. If you want a sharp picture with great contrast and smooth motion, this will not be for you. As for my selection of this device - I am putting it at the cabin where it will be used sparingly. It is a great fit with a great sized screen at an attractive price for that setting. I ran a side-by-side test between this Hisense 65" set and my Samsung 55" set (both 4K) - and the difference was noticeable. With the Hisense, the motion is not smooth - it is a bit blurry - you can clearly see it in the scrolling text at the bottom of news channels and it is apparent when you watch a game. So, for me, it is all about the price...

    This was a spur of the moment purchase to replace my slowly dying TV. The backlight is slowly going out in it and I knew I'd have to replace it soon. I usually purchase Samsung TV's as I've had nothing but good experience with them (except for the whole backlight thing), but I googled the Hisense brand and it seemed promising for the price. I've had this TV for about 2 weeks now and I love it so far! The picture is awesome! I can't remember what it's like to look at a TV that wasn't dimmed down, but I love the quality this one has. The sound is just as impressive even without my soundbar hooked up. With it hooked up, it's seriously just great. The functionality gets 5 stars too. Easy to set up all your accounts and isn't laggy or anything. For never really hearing of this brand and taking a leap, I'm impressed and would def. buy this TV again

    Better than Sony, LG and Samsung....PERIOD!

    I've owned several Hisense tv's over the last 10 years, and they've by far been the best I've ever owned. I'm a bit of a geek, so I tend to upgrade...often. I've owned Sony's Android tv for a few years, and also tv's from Samsung, and LG. Of those, the LG was the best overall, but Hisense has really nailed it with this one. I bought the H9F last year, and the picture is amazing, but the Android was pretty glitchy. When this model came out, I grabbed it. The Android system on this model is WAY better than the H9F, and it gets regular software updates over wifi which only make it better. The picture is AMAZING at any angle. The sound is very good for a thin tv, but where this thing really excels is in the Android system. I've sideloaded loads of apps that supposedly wouldn't work, and they work flawlessly. Prime is a great example. Unless you really like throwing money away, give this set some serious consideration. Oh, one more thing. their warranty dept is top notch. The one time I had to call them, they stayed on it to make sure the problem was fixed. It was nothing major...but I like that to them, it was. Forget Sony, they're ridiculously priced, and their warranty S**ks….I know from experience. You will LOVE this tv, without a doubt!

    I got one of these as a gift and its a very nice tv. It has decent color and HDR performance for the money. But wait for it to go on sale its usually 550 to 600 at most. Easy to find on sale too if not at best buy amazon will have it. Best buy hasn't been marking things down like they used to, but fortunately there are other choices.

    Glotches and Black Screen of Death

    Software glitches after several months in. Then starting having black screens a few seconds after TV power on. Followed the fix online which works for a bit, but the fix won't work at all now since Thanksgiving 2022. it's a big paperweight taking up space.

    Bought this tv a few months ago. Upgraded from a 8 year old 40 inch so I figured the brand didn't matter — anything at this point would be an upgrade and you can’t go wrong with the price. Primary use is Netflix/YouTube, streaming services. After not even a few weeks, I noticed there is extreme disconnect between the TV and connecting to the streaming services. It stalls, it will go black and never open up, you’re not able to use the remote. I find myself having to turn off the TV and turn it back on multiple times for it to work. Just awful. After reading reviews on the product, this is a common error. I had read reviews prior to purchase but there’s always more positive than negative, mistake I won’t make again. In retrospect, I should’ve just spent the extra few hundred on an LG because this is so frustrating.

Please perform a factory reset on the television by going to Settings>Storage & Reset>Factory Data Reset. The television will then shut off and after coming back on will prompt you to set up the TV like when it was just out of box.     I don't know how this TV has so many good reviews. The operating system is too loaded for the hardware making for agonizingly sluggish menus. We're talking push the remote button and count to 2 before you get a reaction kind of sluggish. Hisense customer service is a joke. Were talking barely speak English don't give AF about your problems, know nothing about their product kind of joke. For icing on the cake it freezes worse than a laptop that's been dipped in water and left out in the sun. We're talking full freeze unresponsive at least once a day literally unplug the thing to reboot it kind of freezing. Sure for the first 14 days (best buys minuscule return window) it worked passably. But after 4 months of dealing with issue after issue... Honestly the fact that Best Buy sells this kind of garbage... I go to walmart for cheap, I go to best buy for dependable. I'm so annoyed that I listen to the Best Buy staff that recommended this to me. Please, if your reading this, don't make my mistake. Get a brand name with some reliability behind its name. And Best Buy, this is a garbage product that will only hurt your brand if you keep selling it.

    Android OS crashes and wont turn on

    We bought this tv after alot of research in 2019 and its was okay for about a year and then the OS became so laggy we got an apple tv. That solution worked great for about 18 months and we go to turn on the tv and now its stuck in a boot loop and wont even allow external sources to be displayed. Stay away from android products.

    This tv is so buggy, and service can't do anything about it. It's definitely worth the extra money to get a TV from a more reputable company. You literally have to restart this tv every day for it to work properly. Not worth the savings!!!

    dont buy if you dont want to buy extra warranty because the hisense doesn't cover after 1 year and they dont even send to you a technitian after 1 year
