This TV is an excellent choice for those of us that buy on a budget but want a first-rate viewing experience. It has Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for those of you who don't use a soundbar, and it gets very bright without losing picture integrity. I will say that if you do have a soundbar and use the ARC HDMI port, it can be frustrating to always get the sound to sync or come on at all. Nevertheless, this is an excellent choice if you want a 65" premium experience for less than $1k!

I am really impressed by the features and quality of this TV. I still have to find the time to completely calibrate it, but the user-friendly interface helps a lot with all that. Android TV OS is cool too.

If your buying for a bright room with windows in the background, expect some glare, unless the curtain or blinds are drawn. Otherwise no complaints this far.

I have not seen unboxed my tv yet, but I bought it based on reviews of what I had read. The picture quality from what I have read and seen is phenomenal and it is a added bonus to have Dolby Atmos speakers also. I was deciding between this and a Vizio 65 inch with quantum dot picture. From the reviews I had read they were a little bit the same, but this one got a better review from several websites. I am excited to get my TV set up and give a better review later.

I ended up returning this unit. That said, for most people it's a very good tv. For my eye there was just too much blurring in fast moving scenes. Motion interpolation created a lot of artifacts and every setting had soap opera effect. I just couldn't make it work for me. My son loved it and didn't see any of the issues just stated. So, if you aren't a very discerning viewer, 4K does look just as good as TVs twice the price. Android TV worked well but did have some issues with lag at times and YouTube casting would drop out and close app on occasion.

So I was so impressed with last years 55 inch H8F model that when this one came out I decided to get the 65 inch H8G and I couldn't be more impressed. The picture is absolutely amazing, 4k content looks awesome on it. If you're thinking about getting this t.v. don't hesitate!

I have definitely enjoyed upgrading my TV from an entry level Vizio 65” to this Hisense H8G. Picture and audio is awesome. My two downsides: Having to replace my tv wall mount as the back of the tv has a ledge that doesn’t allow me to reuse my current mount. The other is not being able to turn off the tv speakers.

So far I am very pleased with this TV. Great picture Vivid colors right out of the box. The smart TVs teachers have replaced a lot of peripherals that were damaged from a lightning strike. I have all of my streaming apps directly on the TV now no extra devices needed, it also has Chromecast as well.

I did a lot of research as you looking at this probably have. This was listed as the best budget buy by a number of websites and it did not disappoint. This has stunning picture quality up to 4k HDR 30Hz which is impressive to actually be able to run. Would recommend to a friend. Would def recommend pairing with a Samsung soundbar though, the sound is kinda weak.

Nice TV with a good picture, but I feel it is overpriced. I purchased the Sony 750 for $150 less and the Sony has a better picture.

The picture quality is excellent, and the built in sound is actually pretty solid. The initial setup is a bit slow, as is the system update you have to do right out of the box, but once you get past that, the app screen works as well as any other smart TV I've owned.

High frequency buzzing noise, but otherwise decent

Picture quality is solid, and this TV has passed many technical spec tests on review sites such as RTings. However, I returned this TV twice because anytime you turn up the backlight (for any viewing mode that isn't Energy Saver), the TV actually produces a high pitched, high frequency buzzing noise. When the first TV did this, I exchanged it, but then the second TV did the same thing, so I returned it and bought a Sony instead. If you're a little older (I'm in my late 20's) or otherwise don't have good hearing, then I don't think you will be able to notice the buzzing at all, because hearing high frequencies degrades with age. If you're on the younger side, or fairly confident your hearing is intact, then I'd suggest you stay away from this TV. The picture looks great, but the buzzing sound bothered me a lot and I couldn't stand it.
