The TV screen was half Black after a week of watching movies on it. I couldn't return it back because the store stated that the return date was September 19, 2025. I am paying for a tv that turned out to be crap. I had it put back in the original box. I had to purchase another tv. I am so upset!! PA Russell-Hare

I am very pleased with this QLED TV. First of all, the packaging was excellent and it did protect this unit on its journey to my door. Unpacking was made easier since once you took off the straps and cut the sealing tape, the whole box lifted off leaving only the base box-foot and the TV. A large sheet of thick cardboard inside the box covered the front of the TV in addition to the foam pieces that completely encircled the TV. You don’t want to receive a TV with a cracked screen so a tip of the cap to the Hisense package engineers. – well done. It comes with feet but also has the VESA screw holes to mount to a wall bracket if desired. The remote is solid and does have the microphone button which is a must for me. A manual is included but is not really needed to set up this Fire TV. A Fire TV will require you to have an Amazon ID which is free. I did notice that upon initial power on, you need to wait about a minute before the TV completes the initial power-on. However subsequent power-on loads were immediate. The color is super. The QLED technology was apparent with vibrant colors. The price performance of this TV is very nice. It's QLED technology will not have vivid OLED technology colors, however those TV’s are much more expensive. The sound was fine, not the most robust, but you can add a soundbar if top end audio is something you require with no compromises. However, the Dolby Atmos audio does provide a fairly rich audio surround sound experience. You can add apps during your first IPL or you can add new apps anytime. I did run the TV from an ethernet cable and also from a wireless connection. I noticed the TV can handle a 5.0 GHz connection which will allow higher WiFi speeds. For both types of connections, the TV functions operated quickly and the loading of apps and buffering of downloads was speedy. I do have a 300 Mbs internet. Note that the eherrnet port is in a separate recesssed inset area, not with the row of connectors for USB and HDMI. I almost missed spotting this port. But it does provide a better space for more easily connecting the ethernet cable connection; another tip of the cap to the engineers at Hisense. I am enjoying this excellent TV which at 65” provides a large crystal clear screen with great colors. It has a 1-year parts and labor warranty. It does have very smooth motion for sports and also has a Game Mode. I very highly recommend this 4K Ultra HD device. I have two other Hisense TV’s so I can confidently say the reliability is top rate.

TV did not work upon delivery. Guess they have never heard of QC or QA. Junk TV and Best Buy and their policies are horrible. They would not even come out to pick it up unless I paid for it. I will never shop at BB again!

Pros: +Comparable picture and sound to another brand QLED TV that cost twice as much a year ago. +Somewhat Fast startup "most of the time" except when the power plug was out in between. +Very good contrast, picture looks beautiful on streaming, black color looks very black on video. Dolby Vision is a plus. +Excellent Sound Quality for a TV Speaker with Dolby Atmos +Smooth motion, when streaming Cons: -Slow to power on after a power plug pull. (Think "Sleep mode" vs "Power Off" rebooting) -Fire TV is a bit slow, but at least it's an option. Not a big deal if you use something like another streaming device. == This Hisense QLED 65" 4K TV impressed me; it stood up well against a year-old different brand QLED 65" 4K TV that cost us twice the retail price of this Hisense model. When it first turned on (from a power plug pull) I initially thought "these blacks are not very black", but once the TV got up and running, which took some time (it's slow to start each time you unplug it, but otherwise is faster to start up), I was impressed by the contrast. Initially, I thought the color was significantly different than the other brand TV (some blues on the other TV looked green on this TV with the same picture on both screens, unsure which color was "right"). Still, after tinkering with the display modes, I noticed the Dolby Vision Natural or Vivid modes more closely matched the colors on the other TV. The sound on this TV was crisp and clear, with good full-range sound. I haven't tried hooking up a soundbar to this TV, but the built-in sound is excellent, so it might not need it (unless you need the home theater experience, but ours is going in a bedroom). The motion seemed smooth, though this was more obvious on streaming services. Maybe it's our cable service, but live video (from "TV") tends to have choppier motion on full-screen motion. Streaming some Amazon Prime movies with the built-in Fire TV, I was wowed by the picture, though when the stream started, there were a few hiccups (presumably until it buffered a bit). The Fire TV is a bit slow, but it is usable. Here's an example: I'd tap the remote to move it. At first, it wouldn't respond, and then, because I tapped the arrow multiple times, I had to wait for it to stop moving long after releasing the button. This isn't a significant problem as I'll probably use another streaming device with this TV (there are 4 HDMI ports for this kind of thing), which has a faster processor and is relatively quick on this same TV. In our case, live TV (without a cable box) is only available on that streaming device, so it's a requirement for us. This seems like an excellent TV for the price, and yes, I'd recommend it if it's in your price range.

This TV is simply amazing and exceeded my initial expectations. You have two mounting options - 300X400 mount or the included feet that are super easy to install. I chose the feet since I am not using a soundbar (but I might later convert to one). Set up was relatively easy and it walks you through step by step with on-screen instructions. Once set up, I explored the menu a bit and was amamzed by the choices as this was my first experience with Fire TV. I had previously used Roku as my streaming device and this TV makes it even easier to stream from multiple sources. The picture quality also exceeded my expectations for the price point of this TV. While the mini-led panel does not do local dimming, I do not expect that level of performance in this price point. Add a grand to your budget and get a local dimming mini led or an OLED if you think you want that feature. The brightness was more than acceptable in my environment without a lot of ambient light, so I cannot comment on glare reduction. The colors are vibrant in the factory settings and I have not attempted to adjust anything yet as I am still getting used to it. Sound quality is what I expected, and it is OK, but a soundbar may be in my future to handle the deep bass that gives the "punch" this one lacks. The sound is good, but is not theatre quality - and no out of the box TV is in that category. The remote is just a basic remote and has a nice feel, so there is not much to comment on it. Plug in the batteries and it just works. The only mounting hardware supplied are the four spacers on the back if you want to wall mount it, along with the two feet and attaching screws if you want to table mount it. A power cord is enclosed, but no other cables. Others have described the inputs and outputs, so no need to repeat them. The e arc connection worked fine in my set up, and there is only one of them plus two additional HDMI connectors. Bottom line - it is a terriffic value with a fantastic picture and adequate sound for an unbeatable price. Buy it!

I have had the opportunity now to test this TV for a full week set up in my home’s entertainment room that my 3 teenagers use with friends. It replaced a 65 inch Hisense TV from 4 years ago (that one would no longer boot up or make it past the setup screens without looping again). In a nutshell, this TV is quite amazing and this is coming from someone who’s main TV is a 77 inch, $4500 product. The aesthetics of this Tv are stellar and bezels are slim. The black edge color is nice as I do not like color or silver accents that draw your eyes away from the screen. Unboxing and setup are typical of any smart TV and within 10 minutes I had all my typical apps loaded, signed in to them and settled in to watch. I am very very picky with my screen and picture settings and I take a good hour or so to tweak the screen for the room the TV is placed. While the picture is quite nice out of the box, when you dial in to the various settings available, one can really get a much better picture. I know this is all subjective so take some time and have fun – you’ll appreciate the effort. Sound is quite capable as is but I ended up pairing with soundbar through earc. Much better overall. Connections are plenty and there are 4 hdmi, 2 usb, optical and LAN. I connected to my network via LAN since I had a WiFi 7 mesh node unit right next to this TV but I did test the wifi only option and it was just fine without any hint of buffering. Overall this unit is quite amazing for the price and the qled screen is rather impressive. I am hoping this unit will last longer than the last Hisense TV which was only 4 years. Perhaps that was just a bad unit. Time will tell.

My Experience With the Hisense 65" QD6

I wasn't sure what to expect from this TV, but it's turned out to be a solid choice for the price. The picture quality is noticeably better than regular LED TVs I've owned before. Colors look vibrant and realistic, especially when watching 4K content. Dark scenes in movies actually look dark now, not washed out like on my old TV. The Fire TV system works smoothly for everyday use. I can quickly switch between Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube without any frustrating delays. The voice remote is handy when I can't remember the name of that movie I want to watch. Setup was simple - just plug it in and follow the on-screen instructions. Gaming performance is decent for casual players. My Xbox Series X looks good running at 4K/60Hz, though competitive gamers might miss the 120Hz option. The TV automatically switches to game mode when I start playing, which helps reduce input lag. The built-in speakers do the job for regular TV shows, but I ended up connecting a soundbar for movies. The TV gets plenty loud, but like most flat screens, the bass is weak. At least there are multiple audio output options. My only real complaint is about the viewing angles. If you're sitting off to the side, the picture quality does suffer a bit. It's best viewed straight on. The included remote feels a bit cheap, but it gets the job done. For the money, this Hisense QD6 delivers where it counts. The picture quality beats similarly priced options, and the smart features work well. It's not perfect, but it's a great value if you want QLED quality without spending a fortune.

I'm very happy with this Hisense 65" Class QD6 Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV. It's large, light, thin and easy to set up. I'm using the stand for now, but wall mounting in the future will be easy to do. The legs are simple to attach and is keeping the TV steady and secure. There are ample inputs for connecting devices to the TV. Everything about setting up this TV was very easy from connecting to WiFi to adding and signing into streaming services. The picture is vibrant. The colors are beautiful and natural and I didn't have to adjust anything. Watching shows, movies, 4K videos have all been so enjoyable on this large screen. The sound from the speakers is great and adjustable. I love the dialogue enhancer option which enables me to hear what is being said clearly. The remote is simple to use and works great. Alexa works great. She has understood and completed my requests. It has done several updates already. There's been no lag, I've not been disconnected or stuck in loading limbo. I'm thoroughly enjoying this TV with it's beautiful lifelike picture. It's a great choice.

The Hisense QD6 65" TV is a great tv the budget minded. In the box, you will notice the tv is well secured and protected in packing. Handling the tv can be a bit tricky while trying to get out of the box so be careful there. It has a tendency to lean and want to fall over, especially while trying to attach the feet. Out of the box, the tv bezel is very slim, and the overall thickness of the screen is very thin. The processor bulks out the most in the back, but it so easy to be able to mount to a wall mount or tv stand mount if that is the route you are wanting to take. Attaching the feet is very simple and they are directional so only one way to put them in. It gives a wide base and feels very sturdy once set right on the entertainment center. It comes with a pretty long power cord, a remote with batteries, a user guide and warranty info. The remote is a basic amazon fire remote, and is pretty basic. Although, it does have an overall good response to the tv. Startup and setup is super easy. You mostly log in with your amazon/fire passwords and a lot of your content is brought up on the tv. After the initial set up, you will want to fine tune the picture settings and there are a lot of professional guides out there on how to do that properly. The picture on this tv is amazing! It has a 4K display with super bright colors, clarity, and has really good blacks. It is only a 60hz refresh rate, with upscale to 120hz. It is not the best for gaming with the refresh rate, but playing on the Xbox One X with HDR 10 still looks and plays absolutely amazing. Movies and streaming videos just look fantastic. Sound is one thing that is ok on the QD6. It has a great audio range with Dolby Atmos, and most of the time you are not needing to turn the tv up. I ended up mounting my tv on a tv stand and the audio projects out nicely. Have not had really any need to turn on my home theater yet. Overall, this TV has amazing functionality for its price point, and with the excellent picture quality, high quality sound and overall responsiveness, this is definitely the tv a person would feel like they spent their money well. I am not the biggest fan of the amazon remotes but it is not a deterrent from getting this tv.

Hisense has come a long way from its early days in a number of ways from the various screen sizes, clarity, and meeting market quality standards. This model is a Fire-TV based series tying directly into the streaming ecosystem allowing you to take full advantage of Alexa via the included voice remote from changing channels, searching for various apps and titles, and even request channels and apps. The Dolby based audio and video offer a really nice clarity and sound that so far is nice, clean, and crisp. The overall colors are really nice and vibrant when viewing channels and watching films. Surprisingly, the weight of the TV is not as heavy as expected or thought to be. It is also easy to hang on your wall if you choose to, none of the hardware for doing this is included. One of the things I found to have liked the most is the way it follows suit with placing the most commonly used apps and various recommendations up front for easy access. Additionally, creating additional profiles to share amongst all of the various family members or friends that use the TV. This enables you to maintain a profile all to yourself.

If you’re not going to be wall mounting, be very aware that the legs for this TV are 40 inches apart. Make sure to measure the width of your TV stand to make sure this set will fit. The initial setup has you choose between Full and Basic experience, with the Basic experience being limited to live TV and only five streaming apps. If you select the Basic experience, you’re pretty much limited to Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, and a few FireTV channels for news, music, and sports. If you want access to the full appstore, you’ll have to select the Full experience and sign in with an Amazon account. And immediately after signing in with an Amazon account, it blasts you with a few suggested apps to install. As for live (aka antenna) TV, the tuner is just as poor as my Toshiba FireTV and only managed to find 5 channels. I used to think the tuner was a Toshiba problem, but now I’m wondering if it’s a FireTV thing. My Google TV is also a Hisense, but it manages to pull down 23 channels, so… Almost half of the Home screen is a slideshow of ads, with a small strip allocated for the menu and configurable tiles for six of your apps, with the lower portion being more suggested & sponsored content. So basically FireTV gives you this tiny little strip where you can configure the apps that you want, and then allocates the rest for ads & things that Amazon thinks you want to see and things other companies are paying them to put in front of you. The display is decent, with good color and sharpness. There is a bit more of a glare on the screen than my previous TV though, so you’ll want to mind your placement. Sound is acceptable for routine TV watching, but if you intend to watch movies, you’ll want a soundbar. It does have a nice ‘Volume Leveler’ feature that seems to help with those annoyingly loud commercials. I haven’t connected a soundbar yet, so I’m not sure if the leveler feature works with an external speaker. There also seems to be a bit of lag when navigating the UI, especially when you first turn the TV on. Not sure if that’s just a Fire TV thing or if the TV itself needs a bit more compute/memory. Bottom line, the TV itself is fine, but the Amazon Fire TV experience is horrible and pretty much ruins it. Hisense also has several comparable models that run on Google TV, so those may be worth considering instead.

For the price, picture and features, it's really hard to go wrong with the Hisense - 65" Class QD6 Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV! Context: I am NOT an audio or videophile. I watch TV in moderation, I like a good movie on the weekends and I want to be able to stream across the (of course) multiple services that I use. The Hisense - 65" Class QD6 Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV easily fits all these boxes, while being HUGE and incredibly reasonably priced. Pros: - super easy set up. It's light enough for one person to do, but large & awkward enough that you're better off having a friend help with the final - once assembled (two legs), it was plug it in, connect to wifi and good to go! - I've used Fire sticks for years, so the FireTV interface was smooth and allowed me to set up all the apps I needed - I've since switched to AppleTV & that was plug & play in terms of set up as well (just had to make it so remote would control volume and power) - the picture is amazing in all lighting - unlike the first flat screen I bought many years ago, the speakers are actually usable right out of the box - I don't play video games often (at least on a game system), but a driving game I like on Apple Arcade worked great Cons (not really) - as stated above, the TV's speakers were decent, but it's hard to beat the more immersive sound from a decent soundbar and sub-woofer.
