First time turning on the TV, there are 3 big red dots on the screen against dark colored backgrounds. Contacted customer service but they wouldn't send a replacement TV without sending technicians and doing rounds of investigations. Too much trouble. Decided to return. Will never buy this brand again.

I recently purchased the 65-inch Hisense TV, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From its stunning display to its impressive features, this television offers an outstanding viewing experience that rivals many higher-end models on the market.
First and foremost, the picture quality of this Hisense TV is truly exceptional. The 65-inch screen provides a captivating visual experience, with vibrant colors, sharp contrast, and deep blacks. Whether I'm watching movies, sports, or playing video games, the details and clarity are remarkable, making every scene come to life. The 4K resolution and HDR technology enhance the overall picture quality, delivering stunning visuals that immerse you in the content.
One feature that truly stands out is the TV's smart capabilities. The Hisense TV runs on a user-friendly operating system, offering a seamless and intuitive interface. Navigating through apps, streaming services, and settings is a breeze, thanks to the responsive remote control and well-designed menu system. The built-in Wi-Fi and extensive range of pre-installed apps provide easy access to a wide variety of entertainment options, including popular streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube. Additionally, the TV supports screen mirroring and casting, allowing me to effortlessly share content from my smartphone or tablet.
Another aspect that impressed me is the sound quality of this Hisense TV. The built-in speakers deliver clear and immersive audio, providing an enjoyable viewing experience without the need for external sound systems. However, for those seeking an enhanced audio experience, the TV offers multiple audio output options, including HDMI ARC and optical audio, allowing you to connect external soundbars or home theater systems.
The design of the Hisense TV is sleek and elegant, featuring thin bezels that maximize the screen real estate. It blends seamlessly into any living room or entertainment setup, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall ambiance. The TV also comes with multiple HDMI and USB ports, making it easy to connect gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, sound systems, and other peripherals.
Lastly, I must mention the excellent value for money that the Hisense 65-inch TV provides. Compared to other brands offering similar features, Hisense offers a competitively priced option without compromising on quality or performance. It's a budget-friendly choice that doesn't skimp on the essentials, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to upgrade their home entertainment setup.
In conclusion, the 65-inch Hisense TV is a remarkable piece of technology that delivers a stellar viewing experience. With its outstanding picture quality, smart features, impressive sound, and attractive design, it surpasses expectations and offers excellent value for money. Whether you're a movie enthusiast, a sports fan, or a gamer, this TV will undoubtedly elevate your entertainment experience to new heights.

So I do not watch TV often, but I needed something for the living room for when my girlfriend is over as she loves movies and I enjoy watching them with her. I did not want to buy a super expensive TV because once again I do not use it all the time. But I needed something decent. I looked at quiet a few other TV's when I went in until I settled on this.
Picture quality is pretty good, not on the level as say some of the higher end samsungs but for the price point I paid I say it cannot be beat.
The color is great, not going to pick up the absolute highest end of the light spectrums that once again you would see in the other TV's but for being sub 400 it does it just fine.
Sound quality as well is good, you can always hook up a surround sound to it or a sound bar for better quality sound but for what is built into it I would say I am perfectly content.
So in conclusion if you accept that it is not going to be as great as a TV twice its price, if you need something for a guest room or something to connect to for playing you switch on a lazy weekend. This is absolute the best bang for your buck you can get, I would absolute get a second one for a guest room when the time comes.

Nice, big, inexpensive TV with a Roku interface. Also has "AV IN" ports for an old video game I still use on occasion. The only thing that would make it better would be an additional HDMI port.
It doesn't have the best picture, but it is very good for a $400 TV. Fast sports can have some blurring and we can lose the puck watching hockey at times but it's still better than the old Vizio I replaced with this TV.
Sound is usable for an inexpensive LED TV. Again, it is much better than the much more expensive TV it replaced. Start up times are also much better. This TV starts up in a few seconds vs about a minute for the old TV. I was also able to connect this TV to my stereo via the ARC HDMI port and have the TV volume control the stereo. The stereo also turns on and off with the TV now. That didn't work properly with the old TV. My only issue with sound is the volume control isn't linear. If you hold the volume button, there is a pause and then a big jump in volume. That is no fun to deal with. If I keep pushing the volume button repeatedly, it will move 1 step for every two presses. This method is very slow to change volume but it doesn't scare or confuse people with a big jump.
Finally, the Roku smart system is so much better than the old Vizio system. Vizio rarely updated the TV and after a few years, stopped updating the system. I couldn't use it to watch any of the streaming services. All the apps just stopped functioning after a while. I've been using my Roku devices for years now and they are great. It's really nice to have it integrated into the TV.
For $400 this TV is definitely worth it. Especially for a second room or if you can't quite afford a top of the line TV.

I can’t believe I only paid $525 for this TV. The picture and sound quality is sweet! I have a 4K Apple TV also hooked up to it, and it communicates well. No need for the Roku remote if that’s a killer for you. Also I connected a Polk sound bar and my media room is bumpin on Movie night. It’s actually a really good TV that won’t break the bank. Highly recommend.

I have been in the market for a larger display for a long time, but my TV stand kept me from buying making the jump.
Then I read where Hisense offered two positions for the stands, with one in the wide position & one for smaller stands on their larger displays.
That was the deal maker for me. The 65-inch RG6 Series set using the narrow position (the feet are just 26-inches apart) allowed me to use a TV stand I have been using since the the nineties and meant I didn't need to buy a new stand & move furniture to accommodate the 65-inch set. I previously had a 55-inch set on the stand using a shelf to accommodate the wider stand. I was able to eliminate the shelf, too.
As far as the performance of the TV, I am very impressed with the brilliant colors in both SDR & in 4K. The R6G is capable of both HDR-10+ and Dolby Vision color enhancements in the 4K mode.
I looked at higher priced 65-inch TVs with many of the new whistles & bells like ULED (by Hinsense) and QLED sets or local dimming to improve black and found them not better enough to warrant the big price difference from the R6G.
After unboxing putting the TV on my old TV stand (by the way the TV is very stable with the feet closer together), I began the setup process.
The R6G is a Roku based TV. I have been using Roku for many years now, so setup was very easy & straightforward for me.
Calibrating the picture: In all of the reviews of the R6G (in fact most all Hisense TVs), it was advised to use the "Movie" mode which is said to deliver the best color reproduction. Other modes were Sports, Normal & Vivid.
There is also two additional modes for picture quality, "Picture Brightness" which has 4 choices ( darker-dark-bright-brighter) and I settled on "bright" for that setting.
It has, like most TVs, "Color Temp." 3 selections - warm-normal-cool - on this one I went with "normal."
There is also a setting for "Dynamic Contrast" which the experts advised to leave this in the "off" setting. I really did not see much (or any) of the contrast enhancement when trying this setting (off-low-high).
In 4k (both HDR= and Dolby Vision which the TV automatically responds to the provided content) you only have 3 picture settings - Dark-Normal-Bright. In this mode I chose "Bright" and set the "Color Temp" to normal.
I do not use this TV for gaming so I won't discuss how it handles that.
Finally, the TV has what Hisense calls "Motion Rate 120." While the TV has a native refresh rate of 60Mhz, this says it "minimizes lag and provides fluid movement during fast-moving scenes." It is not adjustable or can it be turned off/on. I watched an NHL game and a NASCAR race over the weekend and both looked just fine.
The picture looks very vibrant to me with this settings. Since I have never owned a high-end 4K display I might be blissfully unaware by how much better they are, but the more affordable price of this TV more than makes up for any differences. I seriously doubt they are twice as good for almost twice the price. That's just my opinion.
The sound. Since I already have a Roku Streambar, I connected it using the HDMI with the ARC input (there are 3 HDMI inputs - I use all 3 with the soundbar, cable TV box and Blu-Ray player - I also connected the antenna so I have 4 inputs to work with). It delivers good, clear sound with its DTS Studio Sound processing. I do not have any satellite speakers or subwoofer beyond the soundbar so there is not much in the way of surround sound, but that is not the fault of the TV. The built-in speakers sounded OK but the soundbar has a richer quality and since I already owned it, why not connect it? The sound is also adjustable to fit your personal preferences.
I give this set a full 5 stars because it checked all my boxes:
Good picture quality: Check.
Good sound: Check
A stand that allowed me to keep my ancient TV stand; CHECK!!!!!!
Price: CHECK!!!

Needed a backup when my 77" Sony A80J experienced a screen failure after only 18mos. Ive got a warranty on that so I'm good.
But this budget tv?? Shockingly good picture! And it runs Dolby Vision. Nowhere near as good as the Sony, but only 13% the cost!
Really couldnt recommend more highly as a budget model!!

I am very happy with this TV. It was easy to set up and the picture is great. The sound is better than expected, but I would still recommend a soundbar. That was easy to setup also. For the price this is a good buy.
