This service has been a nightmare from beginning to end. A tv with a broken screen was delivered. Call to get a replacement but they due to BB errors they wouldn’t tv. I was on the phone for 2 days trying to get BB to pick up the damaged tv and replace it. Cash was paid and a receipt was shown. Very disappointing experience.

The Best TV in its Price Tier

The Hisense U6N is at the bottom (or entry level) of the company's ULED lineup but that doesn't mean that it's an average television. It has some features that you normally find on costlier televisions. It incorporates Mini-LED for better contrast, good black levels, and quantum dots for color. The U6N supports HDR formats including Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive. It also includes a slightly paired-down version of the Hi-View Engine, which is their embedded microprocessor setup. It also supports Google TV, Alexa voice control, and Variable refresh rate for game consoles. It's a very good choice for those who want an above-average feature set at an affordable price point. It's by no means perfect. I didn't like some of the lack of sharpness displayed in some HD content and "only" a 60Hz native refresh rate. But I think a lot of people would be impressed by the TV.
Design
=====
The TV has an all-black design with a fairly thin bezel. It's not as thin as some of the more expensive competition, but it’s not heavy and I did not have any trouble mounting it on a wall. You can't say it's an objectively ugly TV set and you won't confuse it for the top tier competition but it's about a quarter of the price. I found it a nice looking matte black TV that will fit into your living space.
The remote control is pretty straight forward. It's lightweight with buttons for basic navigation, volume control, and popular streaming apps. I wish it had dedicated number buttons. The buttons are backlit and I dig the the gray and black contrast.
Picture Quality
============
The display features a VA panel. Although I'm not an expert, I've noticed that the viewing angles are somewhat narrower compared to IPS panels. My family and I usually watch the TV from the front, so we haven't encountered any issues. However, viewing from the sides might be challenging. Despite this, it offers the best budget viewing experience I've found, particularly in dimly lit rooms. One of the key selling points of the U6N is its use of a scaled-down version of Hisense's Hi-View Engine.
This processor is responsible for upscaling and motion processing. The upscaling is satisfactory, but it struggles to make lower-resolution content appear really sharp. The motion processing is somewhat inconsistent. While it can enhance fast-paced action scenes, it can also introduce artifacts in certain situations. Overall, considering the price, the picture quality is very competitive and will satisfy most people.
Smart Features and Connectivity
==========================
The U6N runs on Google TV so you’ll have access to over 10,000 compatible apps. I had a few instances of lag but the CPU does a better job of keeping things smooth in the navigation menus than some other televisions I’ve used. The load times for installing, deleting, and opening apps were not bad. The issue I ran into the most was the OS taking a few seconds to reload the launcher after exiting an app.
Sound Quality
============
As expected at this price tier, the U6N's onboard speakers are adequate but unremarkable. They produce enough sound for casual viewing, but lack the detail needed for an immersive audio experience. Don't expect surround sound or faux surround sound. The audio is hollow but passable for daily TV watching. The majority of the audio originates from the bottom of the TV and I found it difficult to ignore that fact. Also, plan on investing in a dedicated soundbar or home theater sound system to boost your setup.
Verdict
======
I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for the most value for their money and not looking to spend a lot. While its image processing and viewing angles have limitations, the abundance of features, including low input lag, VRR, and a user-friendly Google platform, make it a compelling choice for movie watchers and gamers alike.

If you want the short version of my review: The Hisense U6 Series 65" 4K QLED TV is unbeatable at this price range. End of story. I have more expensive TVs in my house, some of which cost nearly twice as much. I am astonished at how good the picture is on the U6 as compared to them.
If you want to get into the details, here goes:
Build Quality/Appearance: Quick shout out to the remote.... I think this might be the first time I have ever mentioned liking a remote in a review, but here goes! The remote is backlit (fantastic for those nighttime views), and has a gorgeous metallic finish. It has plenty of direct app buttons like Netflix and Hulu, operates smoothly and without issue. A great feature for an already great TV. The U6's external appearance is nothing special, it looks like your standard flat-panel TV. Decent weight, no bevel, makes the most of its real estate. I was very appreciative of the user-selectable feet locations, which allow you to place the feet closer together if you have a smaller TV stand (like me), or further apart if you have a wider stand and want a little more stability.
Sound: The built in speakers are okay. I use the U6 with a soundbar, so I was pleased to see the inclusion of eARC. No issues passing Dolby Atmos.
Connections/Inputs/Outputs: Nothing to complain about here. We have 4K HDMI inputs, an HDMI eARC input/output, bluetooth, WiFi. Also included is Apple Play, Apple Home, and of course Chromecast.
Apps: The U6 is a Google TV, and as such runs on that platform. The interface is snappy and easy to use. I logged in using my Google account and the U6 immediately synced things like recently watched, suggestions, apps, etc. I have a couple of Google TVs, and I feel like the U6 does a great job with the platform. No lock ups, no resets, no issues running any apps, no problems at all. I have 8 or so streaming apps I use, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sling, and Peacock. No issues using any of these apps with the U6.
Display: First display I've had this inexpensive with local dimming. Generally TVs in this price range use edge-lighting, so kudos to Hisense for managing to fit a much more expensive form of backlighting into the U6. Add on awesome features like Dolby Vision. HDR 10 and HDR 10+, and Dolby Vision IQ (automatically adjusts picture lighting to match room lighting), and it is hard to find anything lacking in the U6. Everything I viewed on the U6 looked great, and 4K content in Dolby VIsion or HDR 10 was simply astonishing. I've been watching The Office for the first time (I know, I'm behind the times) streamed on Netflix, and the picture is outstanding. It's HD, but the screen clarity, the brightness, and the smooth motion of the picture make it seem as if I'm sitting in the office with the actors as they act out their crazy office shenanigans.
If you are looking for a 4K TV and don't want to spend a bundle, I suggest that you take a look at the U6 series. Mini-LED, QLED, local dimming, there is no way you can go wrong here.

This tv was recommended to me by a best buy employee. Tv does have a good picture and sound. That about it. Other then that it so slow. I have to pull power cord on it alot. The TV tuner to get local channels with a antenna is super weak I never had so many issues trying to get local channels. I hate this tv. I want to get a different one but I can't bite the bullet yet. If you buy it don't say you where not warned.

Broken and they will not honor warranty

Terrible picture, audio takes quite a while to catch up with video. Within 3 months, something internal broke which makes the screen bounce and there are a lot of lines. We tried resetting and everything else they recommended. HiSense will not do anything to help us, neither will Best Buy. Warranty is not being honored because they are claiming we damaged it. DO NOT BUY HISENSE!
