I have it wired to Ethernet and have not experienced any lag navigating the menus. I have an entry level Hiesense TV from 2020 and regularly experience lag in the software. If you don't care about 120 hrz screen refresh rate this is a sold choice for the money. Only negative I've found is screen reflection. Depending on your sitting angle you may see lights from behind you reflecting of the screen.

I also discovered that just because it says 4K doesn't mean it will look that great. I have a 65 inch Samsung that is maybe 5 years old and looks nothing like this Hisense.

Android tv is great for android users and the built-in speakers are more than bearable (I would still get a sound bar for movies, fine for sports and news). Bezels are small and impressive colors. Great 4k details. An amazing first 4k tv. Do yourself a favor and don't get a wall mount at Best Buy. The brands they sell are way over priced.

For the difference in price o recommend the u7g but if brightness if not important and need a really good tv, go for it.
