Cable and Movie TV.

If you're a gamer planning to use for a next gen. console. Maybe not the for you. Subpar for this use. I exchanged the Tv for the U8G which i orginally went into buy. It just wasn't available for order or delivery. I waited till it was available and went in immediately to exchange. The U8G is Amazing!!!

Never Buy Hisense

Best Buy was awesome to work with, quickly and pleasantly swapping it out for a second unit to my house. The second unit's panel was better - acceptable for this low price range but no where near as good as my other TVs by better brands like LG, Toshiba, and even TCL. RTings.com must have had one special panel for their tests. About 2 months later I began receiving a message about an unstable WiFi connect even though it had been fine until then and all devices nearby and even further had zero issue (-45dBs at TV, consistent 80Mbps). I opened a ticket with Hisense. The issue progressed to first not allowing me to access certain parts of the menu like device settings and system messages, then later to no menu whatsoever. After a month so far trying to work with Hisense, they've been zero help and are an absolute nightmare to communicate with via both email and on the phone. Asking for information already provided, questions that are moot to the issue, cold communication, etc. It's odd how consistently poor their service is. It's not isolated to one or two people. At present, my issue persists and I'm making no progress getting any help from Hisense or escalating to the level that I hope can help me. Do not buy this TV. I should have yielded other reviewer's comments about the issues and terrible support. The TV will break and won't get fixed. Is it worth saving a couple hundred bucks but only getting a few months use out of your TV?

Okay for the money

Sound is okay but I thought local dimming would provide a better picture for darker scenes. Perhaps if all of the picture modes were available. Filmmaker mode which is suggested in most forums as the preferred mode is dithered out as an option. I do like the thin bezel finish.
