I've had this TV for a little over a month now, and am very impressed. I was originally going to purchase a Samsung Q70A, but after reading rtings.com review, I decided to give this a shot. We mostly watch movies, and this TV looks excellent. It is worth adjusting the settings to your liking. I like the androidTV interface, I find it less clunky than the Roku TVs. I am somewhat disappointed in the built-in speakers, but I paired this with a Sono Beam anyways. If you are a heavy gamer, I might recommend moving up to the U7G. If you mostly watch movie, this is a great TV for the price.

Super simple to set up and the picture looks great right out of the box. Love the remote buttons for the individual streaming services and overall ease of use. Picture is super bright and sharp no matter the room lighting.

Good picture; functions as it should. OS is clunky but remote will work with GoogleTv or Apple TV connected boxes.

Zero complaints, nothing but love. Will probably keep buying Hisense line in the future. Might get another one of these to really upgrade football sundays, lol.

This is an amazing TV! It's the first smart TV I've ever purchased (or even used), so I was hesitant. No worries, with Hisense. The screens are intuitive and I did not need to consult a user's manual. The black colors are really impressive. Side by side with a similar priced Samsung, the Hisense images were far superior. Definitely worth paying a little more for the Quantum Dot technology, but far less expensive than any other TV with the same. No regrets- I'd buy this one again in a heartbeat!

I purchased this TV about two months ago now when it went on sale, which now appears to be the regular price now. I'd been looking for a larger bang-for-the-buck TV for a while and based on other's reviews, decided to give the Hisense U6G a shot.
Overall impressions are that this is a solid TV. I haven't had any real problems with it. The UI is intuitive and works quickly, The picture, as long as a scene isn't paused, is realistic and has good pop. Occasionally, I'll catch a scene with a monochrome background that looks digitally enhanced to a fault but that is rare and doesn't diminish the experience. I suspect that I wouldn't notice it if I weren't looking for it. As far as watching sports and movies, action scenes and quick movement shows not stutter or lag and there aren't ghost images with quick pans.
Prior to hooking the TV up to my sound system, I listened to the built in speakers and was pleasantly surprised at how good they sounded given the thinness of the TV. Having said that, if I didn't already have a sound system, I would at least, add a sound bar if I were listening to music and movies.
Overall, I'm very satisfied for what I have and what I paid for.

Budget TV with Great Picture; WIFI and HDMI Issues

Purchased and installed last week. The picture is really nice and androidTV is quick. 2 ISSUES though!
1) I lose wifi signal to the TV CONSTANTLY
2) When viewing the Xbox input with Enhanced HDMI (I tried all ports), the TV will either:
a) not recognize the Xbox signal
b) show the Xbox signal, however it will turn on and off, or flicker.
This occurs when not only when playing a game or watching content, this happens when on the home screen. I have searched everywhere and cannot find a resolution. This also happens with different cables, so it is not the cable.
Very unhappy and will likely have BB come and get it off the wall. Too bad, because it looks good.

I had a TCL 5 series 65” before this. The screen on this is noticeably brighter, which is a good thing. The picture seems better overall.
The UI isn’t as good. I miss the roku app on my phone. And it seems slow at times. Clearing the cache and/or power cycling the tv seems to help with that and it goes back to normal for a while.
Overall I think the better picture for the better UI is a decent trade off. I like having the better picture over everything else.
I’ve not had any issues with this TV and have owned for almost 3 months now.

The combination of high contrast ratio, local dimming, great speakers, high brightness, great customizability, fast interface, and high resolution make this possibly the best tv in its price range. Just be mindful of the lack of storage space and low refresh rate. However, the image smearing is shockingly little for a 60hz panel. You can game on it, but I'd never use it with a high end pc. Other displays with a variable and higher refresh rate will be far superior.

The reviews don't lie: the picture quality of this unit, particularly for the price, is really extraordinary. Bright and vibrant. I also like the various default picture setting options. I have not tried to use any custom settings.
Unfortunately, and for this the review is dinged by one star, the software occasionally does some things that surprise me. The Chromecast feature often requires more than one try to successfully cast from my Android phone. And when the unit shuts off, it will every so often come back on and switch the audio output from ARC - which I have running to a Sonos Beam - to the TV audio, at a disturbingly high volume. It's unpleasant. And it's intermittent, so determining the cause becomes tricky.
So, overall good, but not without issues. But for the price, I am not at all unhappy; just not 100% satisfied.

I've had several smart TVs in the past couple of years from Philips, LG and Samsung - and this one is by far the best I've had. Picture is the best I've seen next to OLED screens (black is handled very similar to OLED).
Android TV is the best operating system I've seen.
The price is just a bonus.
I would mention the TV's speakers are not the best I've heard (but since I am using a sound bar anyway its not an issue).

I purchased this particular tv based on the review from rtings.com. I was looking for a budget 4K 65" tv for my in-laws but didn't want to get any of the sub-$500 Walmart exclusive sets. They don't game and only stream their content from Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. The built-in Android TV functionality was perfect in meeting this necessity. The picture quality and sound are quite good for being a low-end model. If I were personally in the market for a tv then I wouldn't hesitate to get this same set.

I recently upgraded from a TCL 4-Series with serious banding and "dirty screen" issues to this, and frankly, the difference is mind-blowing. Blacks are deep, colors are vibrant, and my 4K discs finally seem like worthwhile investments.
The only downside is the incredibly reflective screen; I had to take down a couple of prints that were across from the set because I could occasionally see them during darker scenes.
