I'm coming from a 13 year old Vizio 3D capable TV, so I'm late to the 4K game. Kudos to the Vizio for lasting as long as it has (my adult kids are using it in their place now).
Best Buy free delivery brought me a pristine box with no digs, cuts, tears or marks.
Set up is pretty straightforward. However I'm using a 5.1 surround, so getting everything working together correctly was a challenge (I'm old and NOT a tech geek). I ended up connecting each device to the TV and using a Digital Sound cable between the TV and my surround receiver. That works flawlessly.
Once I successfully had the 5.1, PS, BlueRay DVD player and cable connected, I connected the Hisense to my wireless internet / VPN. That was probably the easiest part of the day.
The "Settings" options are extensive and can be overwhelming, but adjusting the picture is easier starting with just a few of the options to isolate each change on the screen while you've viewing the entire picture.
***My suggestion is to make small changes to the default settings, based on skin tones. On my set, the red tones were overwhelming and I had to get away from the "Warm" picture options and opt for the "Cool" setting and make adjustments from there.
My recommendation is to expect it to take a few days of viewing to get the setting perfect for your taste / room . lighting conditions.
I usually watch from an angle of appx 40*, so that tests the effectiveness of the screen's capability when not viewing directly from the front. The picture doesn't degrade at all at 40*.
The rear mounted speakers perform well enough, but I prefer the surround option, so my experience with the in-set speakers is very limited.
The Remote control is pretty basic. What the remote lacks, the options on screen more than make up for.
Unlike my last set, the frame on this Hisense is very thin = maybe 1/2" all of the way around.
The base is set well inboard so you can use this on ANY stand that has more than a 15" wide stable surface, and will support 50 lbs or more. The TV base / stand is very stable. The legs are made of metal and the cover is brushed plastic to look like a dark metal finish.
The picture on this set is truly AMAZING! While the picture is limited by the capacity of your source (cable, VHS, DVD, FIOS, or air), where I see the most impressive images are through my streaming services like Prime and YouTube.
IF you feel overwhelmed or frustrated getting your picture settings perfect, don't be afraid to go back to the default settings and dialing it in again - repeatedly if necessary. It really IS worth the effort and time it takes.
My last set cost $1500.00 back in 2012. This one cost 55% of that price and the picture is light-years better. I call that a bargain.
A great set, a great value, and a SOLID 5 Stars!

I’ve had an OLED in my living room for a few months but, for my upstairs setup, I wanted a TV that could provide a brighter, more impactful image than a typical OLED’s 1000 nits ceiling. The U75QG delivers on that front and more. Assembly is relatively straightforward. It has two stand legs that screw into the bottom and a decorative cover that slides between them, providing the TV a refined polished metal accent. The color matched remote also feels premium, with backlit buttons and voice command support. The built-in speakers, a 50W 2.1.2 channel system, punch well above their weight and even support Dolby Atmos. When scrolling through the menu or switching inputs, the Google TV OS felt snappy. Even high-bitrate 4K redux streams played without any hiccups. This thing can get eye-searingly bright, with highlights approaching 3000 nits. The quantum dot display means that colors pop off the screen and the mini-LED backlight does a great job of delivering deep blacks with minimal blooming. I noticed some minor haloing around subtitles in pitch-black scenes in a dark viewing environment. The display also handles reflections and ambient light quite well, with no loss of shadow detail in bright rooms. Viewing angles are typical of a VA panel, with image degradation kicking in about 35 degrees off-axis, which is fine for a couch setup. Straight out of the box, I found that the Standard picture preset with Warm 2 color temperature provides a great starting point to tinker with the full suite of image settings to get the picture looking exactly how you want it. Its gaming performance is the other big standout. All four HDMI 2.1 ports on the TV support both 4K 165Hz and 1080p 288Hz with VRR. There’s practically no input lag, but I feel the pixel response times could be a bit faster - dark scenes in horror games like Resident Evil can have some black smearing in fast motion. Still, gameplay in fast-paced titles like Apex Legends always felt fluid and responsive, and I never felt like I could blame the TV for any of my shortcomings. This thing is the real deal. You’re getting brightness levels and gaming chops typically reserved for flagship models that cost significantly more. While I could nitpick about minor haloing or response times, these are things you might not even notice with how exceptional the overall picture is. I’ve had the U75QG for a few days now and, in that time, I can’t really remember a moment where I was really missing my OLED.

I have always been set on 2 top brands. This TV has awesome picture quality, performance, great Wifi 6 and other features which made me question and saw other videos before I thought about it and that is was outperforming my top 2. Most of the TV's now a days with the TV Apps you can install, they are a hit or miss. Some would work or others would lock up and freeze. I would always recommend using a streaming box, it will make your job a lot easier. The setup went great with setting up the network, only downfall they should have put a Gigabit Ethernet port vs a 100 mbps. Hard wire is always the best but since the limitation, the Wifi will work. I also wish the Digital Cable for the Soundbar would have went easier too. I was able to connect the sound bar with Bluetooth and seems to make it a lot easier vs using that as a HDMI port. The speed and clarity for a bunch of the channels was really good. I will have to check out how it does on the Ultra HD but I think it will be good from all the videos online I seen about this. I was hoping the stand would be more at an angle, but the plastic holding and sliding over the metal keeps the unit pretty secure. When I got the box, it was packaged very good and extra tape and protecting the screen so it made it taking out of the box pretty easy to do. I do like the HDMI ports are easy to access on the side, but they should have made the sticker on what they were just makes easier to plug items into it. I did look at the diagram they had in the booklet and was able to see which ones I needed to plug into. I also checked out a few things to modify and you want to make sure you set the picture mode to Filmmaker, Brightness to 100, Contrast to 50, Local Dimming to High, Peak Brightness to High, Dynamic Tone Mapping to On. Overall it is a great and fast TV, just hope the receivers start to stream more faster rates to get the crisper picture on more watching on a variety of networks and streaming services. I always did like the brightness of the brand and they work great as PC screens in a chiropractic office, fast and clear and big. I stream about 6-8 streaming services and also have a laptop connected to it as well so I am ready to check out more with this! Check it out if you want a great quality and fast TV for the price and that performs even better than the top rated brands. #HisenseQLEDSmartTVCampaignInsiders

The 2025 Hisense 65U75QG miniLED is perhaps the best display, dollar-for-dollar in its price range. Its 1,800 local dimming zones allow for it to produce very good black levels with incredible contrast. Its peak brightness is 3,000 nits, allowing it to easily overcome sunlight or reflections from other sources in your room. We have it on a tv stand in our living room, directly across from an entire wall of windows, and have had zero issues during any time of the day. The setup was easy, completed from our phone. The TV was connected via Google account within minutes. Native apps were download and updated, and we were quickly able to start enjoying our favorite streaming services. 4K 60FPS content streamed beautifully. I have included a screenshot showing a nearly 100Mbit per second video playing flawlessly. This is all done over wifi, quite a distance from the router, so I expect the vast majority of people will see similarly-excellent streaming quality. The built-in speakers are very clear, with no muddiness even at higher volumes. The sound easily fills the space of our 30x20 living room. I don't feel there is any need to attach a soundbar at this time, but might in the future. The controller is very easy to use, with dedicated buttons for many of the top streaming services. Just like the TV itself, it has high build quality, and feels good in your hand. It also looks very premium with is brushed metal face. We briefly connected our PC to try the 165Hz Game mode, and were very impressed with the smooth gaming at that frame rate. Prior to this, our 'best' TV was only capable of 120FPS, so this was a significant bump in performance. If your computer or console can play games at 165Hz/FPS, you owe it to yourself to try it out. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for great build quality, loads of built-in features, excellent sound, and stunning picture quality typically only seen in much-more-expensive displays. Hisense has a winner on its hands with the 65U75QG.

As soon as I unboxed the TV, I wall mounted it. It was replacing a 7 year old LED TV. I knew QLED is good, but I was not expecting such an upgrade from the regular LED TV. The picture quality is just outstanding. The frame is super sharp. The sound quality from the built in speakers are not good, but it doesn't matter, I hooked it up to my soundbar, and in no-time it connected and sounded amazing. Great picture quality meets good sound, thats perfect movie night. We watched "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning", awesome movie to watch on a new TV. My. wife is usually not a tech/geeky, but after the movie, she told me that she enjoyed watching the movie on the new Hisense QLED TV. I didn't have to adjust any settings in the menu yet, but whatever in the default, as far as the picture, looks really good. Wall mounting TV was really easy, only downside was, TV did not come with any screws, luckily I had extra set of screws that I could use. TV was slightly heavier, so I took my wife help to unbox and wall mount. Super happy with the purchase!

I’ve had the Hisense U7 Series Mini-LED QLED TV for a 2 days, and overall, I’m really impressed with what Hisense has accomplished over the years. The U7 offers a modern, slim-bezel design with sturdy feet that provide good stability. The center plate hides the TV legs and gives it a sleek design and the setup is straightforward The picture quality is excellent, with the vibrant colors, deep blacks, and great contrast thanks to the Mini-LED backlighting. I connected my gaming console and the gaming performance is fantastic with the 144Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 support. The sound quality is decent for built-in speakers — clear vocals and enough volume for everyday viewing, but buyers will definitely want a soundbar to get the full audio experience. The Hisense U7 Series delivers premium performance where it matters most. The picture quality, gaming, and smart functionality , making it one of the best midrange 4K TVs you can buy today. And to boot the TV has a "lost remote" finder! Winning!

With 3 HDMI ports that support 4k at 165hz and support for variable refresh rate, this television pairs up well with current generation gaming consoles. The response time is great, especially at that higher refresh rates. Add in full array micro led local dimming and 3000 nits, you also have a set that handles true HDR in movies and games exceedingly well. The E ARC port also allows easy connections to three different high refresh rate devices without needing to get a new receiver since you can pass the audio from those other HDMI ports back to your receiver via the E ARC port. The remote is easy to use and setup with Google TV was a breeze. The aps included cover a variety of popular streaming options and the upscaling on SD content looks good. In all, the Hisense offers an excellent package that will cover pretty much any need you might want of a tv set in your living room. It handles gaming great, and movies pop too.

I really love this TV. I had been using a basic Vizio for quite a while, and while it served its purpose, I wanted to upgrade to something more premium. After doing some research, I decided that a higher mid-range model would be the right balance for me. Setup was simple once it was connected to Wifi. Google TV made it easy to find all my favorite apps, along with several new ones that I plan to explore later. To break it, I watched several movies which looked absolutely stunning on this display. The animation was vivid, sharp, and incredibly immersive. I followed it up with the new Avatar movie, and the filmmaker mode made it look fantastic. That feature was one of the main reasons I chose this TV, and it did not disappoint. Overall, this is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a big upgrade without spending a fortune. I'm thrilled with the purchase and can't wait to enjoy countless more movies on it.

I recently purchased the U6 series hisense tv and decided to try the U7 out and let me tell you I fell in love with the quality of picture this tv has. It was a major upgrade from the U6 series. Very easy and simple setup took only a couple minutes. I really enjoy the 165Hz Panel, Game Booster 288 makes it seem almost like being at a real game! It has great anti-reflection! The Qled Color is so crisp looking! Me and the family have really enjoyed watching movies together especially in Filmmaker Mode also The sound quality is awesome I was able to do away with my soundbar. This tv has been well designed with a very nice remote that's very easy to use! I highly recomend the U7 series Hisense Tv!

I got this TV to replace a 4 year old TV and wow, what a great improvement! The unboxing and setup was so easy with easy to follow instructions. I got the Google TV hoping it would sync with my Google account and it did. During the setup, I used my Google account and the TV set itself up - even found and logged in to my Wi-Fi, set up apps, and completed the entire on-screen setup in about 10 minutes. The colors are bright and the picture sharp and clear. I hooked up a sound bar which was very easy and the sound from both the TV speakers and sound bar are amazing. From unboxing to watching TV was about 30 mins.

I purchased the TV from Best Buy. They delivered quickly and efficiently. TV was pretty easy to setup and with the QR codes, I was able to sign into all of my apps. The remote is wonderful, buttons are easy and clear. You won't hit another button and bring you back to the start page (I do this all the time with my other one). Picture quality is extraordinary! The clarity makes you feel like you could touch the actors. Love the backlit screen - no reflections from the lights. Sound is wonderful - crystal clear, no crackling sounds like some when you get the sound up higher.

65”! TV is really great. The picture quality is top tier. I’ve watched everything on it (movies sports High res specials etc). Sound quality it very good. But bought the Hisense soundbar and sub after the fact and that has added even better sound quality. I would buy another but bigger next time I’m in the market.

I replaced a 55in Hisense TV from 2022 with this 65in Hisense TV from 2025 and man have things changed!
TL;DR for those that want some quick pros/cons and the details follow below.
Good
Google OS
Brightness
Clarity
Remote - light up, custom button
Bluetooth Interop
Soundbar eARC Interop
WiFi 2.4, 5 & 6GHz
Gaming refresh rate
Bad
No Volume Indicator Number with eARC sound bar
Camera / gestures (not documented outside of menus)
Meh
Weight ~43 lbs.
AI "stuff"
Jittery Golf Balls
As I noted, I've had Hisense TVs before; one not so great one pretty good and now the latest U7 Mini LED version for 2025.
My immediate reaction on unboxing is that this 65" TV is pretty heavy and at 43lbs, I'm not wrong. The setup was a piece of cake; a typical Google TV experience using a combination of the remote control & TV. This TV has the ability to use 6GHz networks if you have one, but I am content with 6E at 5GHz for ease of streaming as I keep a separate SSID for 6GHz and want to have ease of device casting.
The remote has a slide-off back, vs just a battery door - to me, a unique but nice change. The remote is quite an upgrade in just the past 3 years as well. On movement, the most common buttons light up and there's even a configurable button beyond the pre-labeled / programmed ones; I set mine up for YouTube Music.
This TV is BRIGHT! It has taken and will continue to take time to find the right colors and brightness for the room and this is strange to me, as I didn't need to do this with the last 55" Hisense. 1000 nits on the spec sheet but the box says a max of 3000 nits - and that's some insane brightness!
I hooked up my Bose Smart Soundbar via the eARC port and it was welcomed in and the TV made it the default audio output device. It was seamless and there haven't been any audio delay adjustments necessary as things are perfectly in sync - something I fought a bit with the last TV. With the soundbar connected, adjusting the volume "does not" show you a number equivalent of the volume level. My wife is not happy about this part but I found that with Bluetooth connected headphones (which also required very little effort), you DO get the volume numbers; I haven't told her about this because she'd probably make me complicate a very simple setup.
Now, there's a setting for a "camera" that I found only because I went through every menu and menu item. Where is this camera? Where the IR receiver is? It's not on the spec sheet and it's a super tough thing to find. I turned this off. No thanks.
Hisense seems to have added some "AI" into the TV as well as "Intelligent" settings but they aren't available in any of the Dolby modes. Here, you can allow some auto-tuning of quality from the TV based on things like the current scene, the lighting in the room & how you want it to handle energy savings. They work pretty well - I'm hoping they continue to improve over time with updates as well.
144Hz HDMI ports are great for gaming! On powering up the PS5, the TV input switched right over & activated "Instant Game Response" which is ALLM in PS5 terms; the setting is pretty easy to find when you hit Menu on the remote and slide over to the right a few items. Amazing graphics and refresh rate shows me that the 144Hz is truly in play. On a side note, when streaming the PGA and replaying it via ESPN+, I often see golf ball jitter on approach. For a great fresh rate, I'm wondering if the Apps need some updating to support a higher refresh.
So, after a week of using the TV - I totally recommend it. I'm not an expert on the perfect picture as my eyes aren't perfect anymore but this TV isn't getting any complaints from the family.

I had never considered purchasing a Hisense TV before and I’ve definitely been missing out. I’ve owned TVs from some of the top brands in this price range, but after years of frustration, I decided to take a chance on the U7 Series Mini-LED QLED. I’m so glad I did.
Key Features: There are several key features and specs I always look for in a TV, and the U7 checks every box.
4K? Check.
Tons of local dimming zones for high contrast and deep blacks? Check.
Color accuracy? Check.
Easy-to-use interface? Check.
3,000-nit peak brightness? Check.
HDMI 2.1 ports with eARC? Check.
And the list goes on.
My TV is located in a bright living room with light coming in from all directions. The anti-reflection technology on this set is some of the best I’ve seen - without hurting picture quality. My last TV was like a mirror, but the U7 is in a league of its own. Sure, some reflection is inevitable, but the U7’s screen diffuses harsh light extremely well.
Picture Quality: As I mentioned earlier, I have zero complaints about the picture on this TV. The local dimming is superb, delivering blacks that would make an OLED blush. Grey uniformity is also the best I’ve seen in a panel. I’m a bit of a color nerd, I used to be a graphic designer and seeing that this TV is Pantone color certified is the cherry on top. It looks incredible in bright rooms and absolutely shines when the lights go out. HDR performance is immersive and spectacular. If Hisense keeps this up, there’s no doubt in my mind they’re going to take the market by storm.
Unboxing: I’m always hesitant to have TVs delivered because I’ve seen what can happen during shipping. This Hisense arrived within a few days, and I had zero issues. The TV was well-protected, and I have to give a massive shoutout to Hisense for their attention to detail in this department. My wife always complains when helping me unpack and mount a TV because she’s paranoid about touching the screen and rightfully so. Hisense is the first manufacturer I’ve seen include a 3-inch strip of plastic on each side of the screen where you’d naturally grab to lift it. That kind of attention to detail immediately sets the tone for the quality of the product.
My ONE Complaint: After a few days of use, my only issue is the thickness. It might not matter to most, but for me, it’s slightly disappointing. While the depth is only 3 inches, once mounted on the wall, it’s definitely the thickest TV I’ve owned in years. My living room is part of a great room, so the side of the TV is visible from both the kitchen and dining room. The U7 sticks out more than I’d prefer. That said, every other feature more than makes up for it.
All pros and cons considered, this TV is 5-stars anyway you look at it. I love the decision to use Google TV, I love that Hisense is using AI to improve the U7’s already killer features, I love the price point and I love that I finally found a TV that provides the best user experience I’ve ever had with a TV. Top specs and no compromises… It doesn’t get better than this.

Nothing More You Could Ask For

Nowadays it seems like buying a TV is as complicated as buying a car with all the various makes and models. In recent years Hisense has only complicated this even more as what used to be a brand you could write off for inexpensive and low quality TVs is no longer the case. The Hisense U7 series has really become a strong competitor in the TV space and now this year with the MiniLED and ULED technology there really are very few reasons to purchase any other TV other than this one without doubling or tripling your price range.
First right out of the box you can tell Hisense has continued to emphasize a premium quality product as the frame and base are not cheap plastic. The base here (even for 65 inches) included two metal legs with the centerpiece you attach for a more sophisticated look rather than the two awkward legs on each side of the TV that most manufacturers opt for. This also allows for a more sturdy TV and for those using a smaller TV stand this is a nice feature.
Two more things before actually talking about the performance are in regard to the remote and the ports. It seems like between my wife and kids we are constantly cycling through various TVs throughout the house and this remote is my absolute favorite. I understand some people's desire for a small remote, but I much prefer this remote that is large enough not to constantly go missing and that has a premium feel to it. The buttons are also extremely well designed and the shortcut buttons are actually useful as Netflix, Youtube, Prime Video, and Disney are all actual normal streaming services whereas they didn`t just ask for the largest bidder where TVs end up with shortcut buttons for Crunchyroll or other obscure streaming services. Also the programmable additional favorite button is greatly appreciated. Then the remote being backlit is just icing on the cake, especially at a TV of this price point. Then in regard to the ports this TV has everything you need with 4 HDMI ports that all output at 4K 165Hz, 2 USB ports, Ethernet, Digital Audio Output, Headphone Jack, AV Input, and your Antenna connection so again there really is nothing further you could ask for here.
When powering it on though the setup was a breeze as the Google interface is by far the superior interface nowadays especially for those who may already be in the google smart home ecosystem. However, the TV does support Alexa and Apple Homekit. I will say with the internal processor the interface is extremely snappy and even outpaces the new Google Streamer that I have on another TV in my home.
So enough with the setup as the performance of this TV is what really sets it apart from competitors in this price range and even those in price ranges above it. First with the QLED component I can say that the colors here really pop and the various ranges of colors able to be output clearly making everything I've thrown at it extremely realistic and vibrant. The Mini-LED and 3000 dimming zones are where you really see the realism though as the deeper colored shadows and highlights truly make it look like you are viewing the picture as in real life. The vast amount of dimming zones nearly eliminates any haloing (where a bright glow appears around dark objects). There were various scenes where it even came close to that OLED performance such as when there was a bright moon in a dark sky there was very little white bleed into the black sky and that line that separates the white moon and black sky was extremely crisp and defined. This facet is so difficult to describe through words and even pictures, but for the sake of the argument I can say that this feature typically would cost hundreds of dollars more on those bigger name brand TVs.
Two other aspects of the picture that I have to mention are the glare and gaming components. First with the glare, I`m not sure what type of coating they put on the TV but it has nearly minimized the glare without any compromise in viewing angle. Then for those gamers the 165Hz refresh rate truly held up when I hooked my PC up to the TV to see if it would truly hit that full 165Hz and it did in a multitude of games.
The last thing to mention briefly is sound as I know most are going to hook this up to a soundbar, but I was extremely impressed again with the sound here as you see 2.1.2 multichannel audio and think it's probably a gimmick, but the the sound here really does mirror that of high end OLED TVs.
I know I`ve basically said this is a perfect TV and I really do believe that. Hisense is punching well above its weight class with this TV and at this price point there truly is nothing that is going to beat it from a quality standpoint. From the premium build quality and interface to the standout performance there truly are no faults with this TV. There is no need to spend any more money on a higher end TV unless you are going to the top of the market with an OLED TV and for that reason I would recommend this TV for nearly everyone in the market for a new TV.

I have been going back and forth on the final score I want to give to this Hisense TV. I am giving it 5 stars, because I can't give 4.5, so I will include an asterisk. While this issue lies in the software side of the TV and not the actual picture that is shown on the screen. Would also like to point out that I am a gamer and spend time making sure the image of whatever I am watching or playing is the best it can be. With that said, this set does 4K gaming proud once the settings are configured.
When I received the set, I had 1 other person helping me set it up and out of the box, which you should really do! I immediately mounted the TV to a floor stand because I live in CA, nuff said.
On set up, the Google TV part came in and really helped by signing in and it finished the set up mostly from there, including wifi set up. The set prompted me for an update immediately and I had to stop and realized the wifi was already clearly working. Comes with several apps to use from streaming with MAX, to watching a soothing app (open window?) that has several nature scenes that play. There is also apparently a sample size of Google TV that is included in hopes of getting that sub out of you.
I tested several games and came away very impressed overall. I have included 2 pictures showing the very limited gaming options and another picture ofthe movie UP. First, watching movies on this TV is pure pleasure. My family has never spent this much time together in the same room consecutively....ever. Love it.
Coming from an LG C3, I was hoping for more options for on screen menus. For example there are only 5 options in the gaming section including longer frames per second (FPS) but nothing to show current frames the TV is giving out that I have seen. I personally loved this feature on the C3 and used it constantly. I use the FPS counter on Steam, but it does not always show for every game I tested. I am not sure if this is due to playing on screen 2 only from my PC. Additionally, I hope Hisense updates and adds more information on each setting and keeps them on. I cannot tell you how annoying it is to have to go into settings constantly to check to see if all the gaming settings are correct when playing.
Yes I would recommend this TV for anyone interested in a 4K set for sports, movies or gaming. Also currently on sale for a great price on Best Buy.
I would recommend this to a friend

I've always been a Samsung and LG TV guy my last tv being the LGCX Oled. I couldn't be happier if im being honest the black levels look like its on a Oled. Thr colors are amazing and in a bright room i get little to no reflection. Id definitely buy again....I haven’t even talked about the gaming. Amazing tv
