Overall, a Great 4K 120Hz TV w/ Minor Sound Issue

I absolutely love this TV. It has an excellent picture and plenty of HDMI and USB ports. It supports 4K at 120 Hz and has all four HDR codecs (most TVs only have two or three). The sound quality is really good for TV speakers.
The TV was easy to set up. It has two leg positions so that you can put it on a smaller TV stand if you need to. The remote is easy to use and the menu system is straight forward and easy to understand. Overall, it took me about twenty minutes to get the TV set up.
I particularly like the Bluetooth connectivity. I live in an apartment, so I use Bluetooth headphones to listen to TV shows and movies so that I don't disturb my neighbors. Being able to connect my headphones directly to the TV meant that I could use them for all the devices connected to my TV without having to switch anything.
The only issue I have experienced is a sound delay when using Google TV, which comes with the TV. No matter what I do with the sound settings, I can't get the sound to match up with the video. It's the same whether I'm using the headphones or the TV's speakers. Curiously, I don't have that problem when I use my Blu-ray player or Roku 4K streaming device. It seems that anything that is plugged into an HDMI port won't have a sound delay problem.
Overall, I am very happy with the TV, and would definitely recommend Hisense to others.

Had bought tbis tv for my parents 2 years ago and it has great picture quality. However we connected their sound bar and the volume shuts off every so often for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Even bought them a brand new system and still does it. Otherwise it would have been a 5 Star review

Researched and watched lots of reviews and just couldn't decide so I bought both of them to compare HDR/4K/8K/sports content simultaneously in person: Hisense 65" U7G (this TV) and a TCL 65R646. Same price. Nearly identical specs on paper.
In my opinion the Hisense U7G (this TV) is superior to the TCL 65R646 in the following ways: better/faster/more intuitive operating system and access to picture and sound settings, consistently switches between HDMI ports/inputs (TCL did some odd behavior switching between sources)
In my opinion the TCL 65R646 is superior to this TV in the following ways: much better inky black (almost no backlight bleed!), much better detail/clarity, somewhat "smoother" HDR scene panning capabilities (overall a better display IMO), smaller easier to use remote, much better built in speakers (that I won't use anyway). It's a heavy TV.
Both look good but if weight is quality, TCL is built "better".
Very difference experiences. Returning the Hisense. The backlight bleed is extreme IMO. I don't know if this is an individual TV issue or a manufacturing/all products issue.

for the money this tv is awesome. it is super fast , great picture . with the right settings it allows the new xbox series to run at full speed n graphics. full 120hz.. games look awesome. this tv is awesome compared to my 4k 7500 series samsung 65 curved that i had.. the processor in this tv is so fast. runs and boots up the apps faster than the google chromecast or any firetrick can. ton of setting and options... only thing is when streaming on netflix its pic mode is in dobly iq mode. looks good i just cant figure out how to change it to compare. u can can the iq mode itself to iq darknor custom. but not like mobie mode or vivid mode. still iq mode looks great thou. highly recommend this tv if youre looking for a 120hz tv that works for gaming.. sound from tv speaker is pretty good even has voice mode... remote did take over control of my sound bar. i have not figured out how to disable that thou.

The best tv for the price. It has quantum uv enhancements to get the best resolution picture for your needs. It is very sleek and a thin tv. I would recommend this product to everyone.

This is one AWESOME TV! Colors are very accurate, gets super bright (when i first got it my eyes had to adjust to how clear and stunning the picture is) I came from an old LG 1080p tv that was 11 years old. Don't let the brand name throw you off. I have an old hisense 42" in my bedroom that is still kicking after 7 years! Build quality is pretty good. It has an aluminum edge and the plastics feel good! I love the fact that it uses android tv (im a huge android fan) as an OS. No slowdowns or glitching. LOTS of customizations and you can download tons of apps from the google play store. Get this TV. You will not be disappointed!

Great value device. Bang for buck it is basically impossible to beat. However, there are a few issue to note. There is a mic built in to the TV, which isn't all that uncommon, but if you turn the mic off, there is a rather annoying light to indicate it is off. Could easily be fixed with a price of tape or something, but I really don't want to have to put a band aid on my brand new TV. The remote is above average, screen looks fantastic, and sound is also great. Just don't expect any miracles with grey uniformity, and the dimming zones. But during content viewing, it's a non-issue. The 120Hz mode for gaming is also a major plus.

Very good screen. Enough brightness for HDR content, 4K resolution, decent contrast, and good motion handling. Hooked up to my gaming PC, it plays well. Games, movies, and sports all look great. Wish I would have waited a couple months, as the Hisense U8G (the next step up) is currently $20 less than what I paid for this set. But that's a me issue, and no fault of the TV's. Definitely recommend if your budget is where the TV is priced at.

A Big Bloomer

Buyers remorse; I should have spent the extra $600 and got a Sony OLED.
This Hisense 65U7G has so much blooming that one might think it's a feature. White text on black background the blooming continues in a nice smooth gradient to the edges of display where it finally returns to black. I have never seen blooming like this ever.
The 120 hz was a must have for me and it functions as expected. I'm still goofing around with its settings to find what is best for the content I'm watching at the time. I don't have a game console connected so I can't speak to that configuration.
I wish it would have had Google TV rather than Android TV. I owned and used the latest Google TV Chromecast prior to this purchase and enjoyed the updated experience.
Audio cuts out for about 30 seconds for once or twice per two - three hours. The same JBL Bar 5.1 was used on two previous TV's and never had the sound drop.
Save your money and buy something $200 - $300 less or spend $500 - $600 more and try and OLED.
