Great TV for the price. Will likely switch to Hisense TV's in the future. Only regret is I wish I would have gone bigger.

My son is an avid gamer and this is one of the few TVs that actually held to the refresh rate advertised.

Great picture and great price. Only complaint is the ethernet and optical audio cables point straight out the back instead of vertical. When wall mounting the TV with a slight downward tilt there is pressure on those 2 cables.

Positives:
TV has performed well so far and I have been happy with the picture quality. The TV sound and picture are as advertised (and as I researched) so you seem to get the best quality for the price line. Strongly recommend getting a good digital air-wave antenna to go with cable box. Can really see the better picture quality with over-air HD digital.
The remote is very basic but for some that is actually a PLUS.
I also must say the packaging actually was well designed for storage and reuse. Keep it in case there are issues in future or you just want to give away when you upgrade in time.
Minor Negatives:
I have not been able to locate a way to disable Google Voice in the TV setup menu (short of turning off the manual microphone switch on front of TV). Be aware you may need to upgrade your cable box to get full benefit of the higher resolution screen. Also be aware that the 'smart tv' may 'compete' with 'smart' sound system or other 'smart' devices and automatically turn some devices on when you didn't really want them powered up (minor pain).
Real issue with using Dolby on the cable box causes a sound deal with some programming (lips moving before words hit speakers). Tried many fixes and researched. Ended up turning off Dolby in cable box but I don't like this as a long term solution. Still researching.
Overall Rating:
I would buy this again at the price line. Good tv for the money.

It is a huge upgrade from 6 year old Samsung 50 inch TV. I did extensive research on various 65 inch TVs before chose Hisense. The ratings.com is very helpful with all TV testing results. Picture quality is stunning and sound quality is good enough for me. I like the new remote after spent some time to get used to it. I believe the reliability should be on par with other major brands.

A great value TV. I went back and forth between this tv and the U8G, but the U8G wasn't widely available at the time so I went for the U7G. Do not regret my purchase at all. Great for movie and tv content and awesome for gaming on the latest consoles. UI is quick and responsive, and the addition of the always-on Google Assistant is a nice plus. I highly recommend this tv for the money.

The picture on this TV is gorgeous. It's rare that things live up to how I imagine they can be, and even my much lower expectations, but when I fired up The Dark Crystal in Netflix, which is in Dolby Vision and Atmos, the video was nothing short of exactly how I imagined it could be.
Putting the TV in "enhanced mode" for video when gaming, along with the attendant gaming settings for instant sync with input from game controllers also works well. Without doing so, the reaction on the screen is considerably behind the actual input from a controller (e.g., when you try to jump, there's almost a half-second delay between hitting the jump button on a controller and your character actually jumping). Using the TV's gaming features resolves this issue.
Unfortunately, there are two major issues with every input/source, including installed apps. The most prevalent problem is that audio seems to be about 1/10 to 1/4 second behind the video when outputting sound through ARC/eARC. That might not sound like much, but it's very noticeable and distracting. It does this with Netflix, Hulu, an attached PC and game console, etc. Even turning on audio pass-through (which is best for carrying Dolby Atmos from an external source to a receiver/soundbar) doesn't resolve this issue. Whether you're watching a movie or playing a video game, this delay in audio is ever-present and incredibly frustrating, which no way to fix it.
Another major issue, though not as constant, is that audio cuts out entirely with some regularity. While watching Netflix, especially in Dolby Atmos, the sound will occasionally stop, and the audio format indicator on the external sound bar will go off, then turn back on as the audio comes back. Also, when the audio does this, it sounds crackly/staticky as it slowly increases in volume back to normal.
I haven't been able to find any solution to this other than to run devices through the sound bar, but then I can't use the "enhanced mode" on the TV for gaming, or the sound bar stops passing video through to it, so I'm left with laggy inputs from game controllers. There seem to be no good solutions to these serious sound issues, so while the video is beautiful, the experience is ruined after all.
I believe this is why this model is on clearance, as it seems many others have had this experience with the TV, and from what I've read in numerous forums, other users have stated that Hisense hasn't resolved the issue and has even provided poor to nonexistent customer service.
I believe I will be returning this TV to exchange it for something else, even if the replacement ends up costing more.

I had to replace my 65 inch Vizio M series tv as it just stopped working after less than two years. This TV is a much better upgrade than my former tv. The 120 hz screen is quicker, the tv is brighter and the picture is a much better quality. I would highly recommend this television especially if you can catch it on a sale like I did.

So far it's been an amazing experience the quality and color of this TV and the hisense U7G is everything I expected and more I replaced a 4K TV that cost 3x as much and the U7G puts it to shame. Works perfectly with the XSX and PS5 extremely please it will not be my last Hisense purchase that's for sure.

Unfortunately I didn't have enough info to pick out the best tv for my money. Best Buy was great even after returning the second tv. At this point I looked up a whole lot of reviews and then got the tv of my dreams!!! THANK YOU BEST BUY! Final pick Hisense U7G. I highly recommend!

Amazing tv better than the 55 inch version. With the right settings this tv can really blow the picture quality vs the other big brands and bigger prices. Love the native 120hz panel. Android tv is very quick and the apps work as they should great purchase.

This is a very good value for a nice TV. The picture is very good, but the very nice feature is it comes with the customizable Android TV platform installed, so you are all set to add and change streaming apps like kodi, netflix, prime, hulu, network channels, discovery +, etc.

Great pictures and outstanding sound. I thought buying a sound bar was necessary, but it turns out, the sound is what really blew me away. I expected 120hz and great pictures overall, but I say again.. wasn't expecting the sound to be this good.

I was very hesitant because I’ve owned Sony and Samsung tv’s before and this brand doesn’t have that name recognition. I am blown away by the clarity and color of the image! Set up was super easy, great built in audio, good layout on the remote.

At the time of purchase, this is about as good as one can do for a TV in this price range. Picture quality is great and the brightness is adjustable enough that it will work for you in most locations and settings.

Purchased this tv to replace a 12 year old 55" Vizio, which I loved and was trouble free. This 65" Hisense u7G has an incredible picture. Colors are vibrant, and it will light up a room. The VA panel is perfect. No back light issues, dirty screen or dead pixels. I definitely won the panel lottery. I am not a gamer so I cannot comment on how it performs for gamers. For movies and tv watching, the picture great. I can honestly recommend this tv. Hopefully I will get as many trouble free years out of it as my Vizio. Time will tell.
