We bought this TV to use on our patio as an outdoor TV. We have it set up in the garage until our cover arrives, but so far we are pleased with the updates to the U8. We have the previous version in our living room. I will post an update once we have it outside so I can speak to how this TV does outdoors, but more importantly how it sounds against the wall as the upgraded sound on this model was a selling point.

Great picture, sound and quality. Hisense TV was our first purchase of that brand and it didn't disappoint.

I moved up from Hisense 65u8g that I thought had excellent video but very glitchy software. But this 65u8qg blows everything out of the water. They’ve done everything right on this set. Very fast response between everything one does and no crashing as on my older Hisense. Best purchase of any TV in my life and believe me I’ve owned a ton
