    HORRIBLE viewing angles! Basically unwatchable

Ok, so I really wanted to like this TV. It has some great reviews online and it is offered at a decent price. However, the BIG and I mean BIG problem with this TV are the viewing angles. It was mentioned in the reviews that I read/watched online. I don't see how this TV can achieve the reviews it gets with such horrible viewing angles. If you step just a little off center you start to see skin tones change. Step just off to one side or the other of the TV and they get even worse. So bad to the point it even hard to watch. You just want to get back to the center of the screen or turn the TV off. This model has great features. I thought the sound was good, the picture quality (when watching from the center) is good. Easy to navigate around the home screen and settings. A lot of great features in a TV at this price. When you buy a TV to watch it's about that. Watching TV and every time you are not going to be near the center. Sometimes you are watching from the kitchen or dining area. So in my opinion, that makes this TV a no go. I really wish the "experts" reviewing would have put more emphasis on this aspect. I returned mine to Best Buy and purchased a 2021 Samsung for only $250 bucks more. I was all for buying and keeping my Hisense but the TV quality is just too poor. I wish I could give it more than one star on quality, value or ease of use. I just can't. You can't add a lot of good features and take away something so important as decent viewing angle. Just decent would work. But they are not here. Just one man's opinions.

It's been about a week since we got it and we LOVE it! The picture is very clear and my wife said the colors are very bright and beautiful and so does my kids says so. Sounds is good as well. Price is very good as well. Can't beat this deal for the size and quality.

Great TV with crisp contrast for a great price. Not as good as OLED but for LED TV at this price Hisense can compete with any Samsung TV, just look up the reviews on Rtings & on Youtube. Bluetooth remote is a plus, only wish that this had Airplay for iPhone users.

I have been watching youtube reviews for the last couple of years and decided to go with a much cheaper hisense U8G over the samsung qn90a. The hisense has blown me away. The picture is absolutely incredible, we are so happy with our purchase.

Dollar for dollar in terms of specs one of the best tvs you can buy on the market, especially in the Led tv lineup. Has all the features I’m looking for in terms of trying to future proof as much as possible (two ports hdmi 2.1, one of them being the Earc port.)

Best tv for the price. Especially if found on sale. Thing is bright bright! Like bright! Perfect for a well lit living room. At the time I bought I couldn’t do better for the price and it wasn’t even close.

Dolby Vision really makes a difference. Nice design, feels well made. Android TV is snappy, I hope it stays that way since it's not getting Google TV. Deep contrast. Extremely bright.

The picture quality and 4K/120 HDMI 2.1 compatibility are impressive for a "value" TV. Works well with the PS5. My only complaint is that it doesn't have an ATSC 3.0 tuner in it.

TV is VERY bright. Make sure you use this one in your bright rooms. Probably the best TV for the money hands down. Honestly after not purchasing a TV for.about 3-4 years, this one has become the best one I own and I would fully recommend!

Seems very well made and the picture is great. I'm not the biggest expert, but I'd put this up against a lot of TVs twice the price. This is my second Hisense and I'd happily buy another.

This tv can’t be beat for your money. I also own the Samsung neo 65 inch TV and I truly think this TV is better. The picture quality is amazing and it seems to up scale some of the older shows to near 4k quality.

Made me a believer. I returned a Samsung q90t due to horrible glare issue and bought this instead. Wasn’t expecting it to have as good of a picture as the Samsung…….but was shocked as sht when it ended up being a better picture than the q90

Maybe it's just my unit, but there's just a lot of issues with the TV and my soundbar. To make sure nothing was wrong with my soundbar, I connected to my LG OLED. No problems for a week. But with this TV, there's problems getting the TV to consistently recognize the Soundbar via HDMI ARC. I get picture but no sound. For my setup, I have a Roku Ultra connected to the soundbar, then have the soundbar routed via HDMI Arc. As I stated, picture but sound that does not consistently stay on and drops out intermittently. The only way to reset it is to power cycle the entire TV. At a certain point, I said "Forget it." I connected the Roku directly to the TV and just decided to connect the soundbar via optical. Worked fine for a month or two, but now, when near the lowest volume levels, sometimes the sound just cuts out AGAIN. The only way to fix it is to, once again, power cycle the entire TV. There's just too many minor annoyances to give this a full recommendation. I've always made sure that the TV firmware is up to date, but still have the annoyances with the sound. That being said, the picture quality is great. Sound quality is terrible, like all flat screens these days, hence the soundbar. But I'm sure there are other great looking screens out there as well that will have an easier time communicating correctly with external devices.
