Great TV, Greater Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really blown away at the picture quality on this TV for the price. I was looking at more expensive OLEDs but decided to save money and go with Hisense. Very pleased with my purchase. The tech appears to be similar in function to mini LED, where you will see some blooming on black backgrounds with bright white text (similar to the new mini LED displays on the 12.9 iPad Pro). The black levels are great. This TV is a really great alternative if you want as close to OLED without spending OLED money.

What a great feeling!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For me nothing beats the feeling of getting great value for my money. As soon as I turned this TV on I was amazed by its brightness, I searched for 4K videos on YouTube and streamed a 4K movie on Netflix and was a huge improvement from my two year-old TCL TV, which wasn't a bad TV btw. The comments from other buyers regarding ghosting are true, but the most recent update fixes it! so definitely recommend this TV especially if you're looking to get 4K @ 120Hz on you PS5.

Great tv!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really happy with this tv. Coming over from an LG nano cell tv and this Hisense blows the log out of the water. It has 2 hdmi 2.1 ports and a 120 hertz refresh rate. Tv gets super bright and the color really pops. Considering it was much cheaper than some other 120 hertz tv I’m super happy with this purchase! Highly recommend over LG’s nanocell line.

Open Box U8G
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv made me rethink the hype about oleds. The u8g gets brighter than all of them and the black levels are superb for a qled. There is little blooming, which is hardly noticeable unless you're really looking at it. Only thing is that I think my panel handles motion really bad, so hopefully yours doesn't.

Very Good Value! You’ll be impressed!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV as a gift for my dad, it replaced a dead, barely 3 year old Sony TV that cost over $2k new. This looked good in the store but I was concerned this would be a downgrade picture wise. Was really surprised how good it looks for the money! Not going to blow away some higher end TV’s, but looks great for what we paid, and looked better then the Sony ever did. He is very happy, bright crisp colors, very vibrant, TV has really good contrast, and gets super bright. The menus are snappy and quicker then expected, and overall it looks sleek mounted on the wall. My only gripe would be the remote, it’s not the best, and the directions during setup to pair the remote could use some work, the buttons aren’t all labeled, when it tells you to press a specific button it was a crap shoot at first, even the manual isn’t much help. I would recommend this TV for someone looking for good picture, bright and vibrant colors and very good value! You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing for movies,shows,and gaming.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing tv.Peak brightness of 1,500 nits, very large screen, looks amazing with the thin bezels,it’s very snappy when switching through apps and turning on and off the display,it has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz which I have not tried yet,but besides that…great buy.

Fantastic TV for a great price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had the Hisense U8G 65” TV for about 2 weeks and it has been a fantastic TV. Design: It’s not the thinnest TV I have seen, but it’s not overly chunky either. The edges of the tv are very small and not noticeable. Having all the HDMI ports on the side is great for mounting on the wall. The back includes channels to help with cord management. And the stand is sleek and unique looking. Picture: The picture quality has been amazing. The colors are very vibrant and the darks get close to OLED with the local dimming. Most online reviews will mention that this TV will have really bad viewing angles. While the picture quality does take a small hit when not viewing head on, for a regular/casual viewer it didn’t make a big enough impact for me to think any less of the quality. Also, this TV gets VERY bright. Sound: While most people won’t care about sound, I thought this Tv has pretty decent sound when using the Theater Sound mode. If you are looking for a tv with all the current features (4K, 120hz, HDMI 2.1) and don’t want to pay $300-$500 more for one of the other name brands I highly recommend this TV.

65" U8G
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hadn't planned on getting a new TV, however my x900e just died. Refusing to buy the same brand, I did some research and found this as the best option for me for $2k or under. This TV is impressive, The apps are smooth, great contrast, the black levels and especially the brightness. Games at 120fps is awesome. The only issues I've had with this TV was with my bose700 soundbar where sound would cut out and i'd have to press mute, unmute a few times, but realized i had to turn off the earc option in the sound settings since bose isn't an earc device. The other small issue is google doesn't respond since the TV got a software update, but I'm sure it will be corrected in time, and certainly not a dealbreaker for me. For those considering this, i do highly recommend this TV.

This is the television for you!!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WOW!!!! I purchased this television as a replacement of a replacement. I had a Samsung curved 4k for 5 1/2 years and hated that I had to replace it but I did so with purchasing the LG Nanocell90. Had nothing but problems so I returned it and purchased this Hisense 65U8G and I am very impressed. This was a wise choice. The image is superb. The Sound is electrifying. The features are complete. Based on my research, you won't find a better television for the price that has all the features it has. I spend most of my time watching either baseball or 4k features and the colors pop. The reds are red, the blues are blue, the blacks are black, and the brightness is amazing. Images are clear. Do your homework before you purchase a set but at the end of the day, I'm sure you'll all come back to purchasing this television. My only gripe is the manual not providing clarity on the features and set up. I've had to rely on internet searches to get a better understanding of what settings mean to make sure I've got the right settings. Otherwise, BUY THIS TELEVISION!!!

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good TV especially for the price! Packaging is also well design and great for reuse (transport TV if needed). Sound is very good, good light with adjustment in low-light rooms or sunshine periods. Apps function seamlessly with a decent selection (Netflix, Disney, etc.) Researched the product and so far it's performing consistent with research. Minor bad points: Remote is basic but that is actually a positive for some. You may need to upgrade you cable-box to get full UHD benefit. Recommend also getting over-air antenna to really see benefit of 4K broadcasts! Also didn't find way in Set-up menu to turn OFF Google Voice (as manual promised). Seems like Google wants to listen and watch what your doing :( . Ended up just turning off manual microphone switch on front of set. Initially REAL issue with sound causing delay (lips moving before sound gets to speaker.) Tried many options and adjustments-no luck. Ended up turning off Dolby on Cable Box to mostly resolve. Annoying! Overall I would buy the set however, especially at the price point. Seems to be best quality in that range.

Best budget tv with all the latest features
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My lg 4ktv from 2014 finally broke so I did a lot of research on tvs and I knew i wanted something with 120hz so i needed hdmi2.1. I wanted something bright so it had to have a high nit rate and the picture quality is amazing. Nothing touches this in this price point, I just wish they had this in a 75" and 85"
