Beautiful Picture. Everything works great there's only one glitch that I've run into and that's g-sync if you're hooked up to a computer. You'll intermittently go to a black screen but by resetting Nvidia control panel it fixes the issue. For $1,200 you can't go better than this I had an LG C1 and I returned it for this and the picture is not much worse in the blacks are still inky with this display with no issue with burn in

I’m a Samsung fan boy but, I have to confess that this Hisense U8G is an excellent television at a great price point. The picture is amazing and it does well both in well lit rooms as well as a darker rooms. I purchased both the 55 and the 65 inch U8G model. The setup was easy and….did I mention the picture is AMAZING. I’ve watched content on. Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and Apple TV….I was simply amazed at the picture quality. While watching ‘Foundation’ on AppleTV I was blown away by the images. I watched ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’ and once again blown away by the picture quality. The sound is excellent and has a setting base on if you have it wall mounted verses on a stand. I have the 55 inch wall mounted and my 65 inch on a stand. The tv also has a switch to turn off the microphone so its not always responding to what you say. I personally think this switch is a plus. The remote is backlit which is a plus. The list of pro with this one is long. Do your research and decide for yourself but for a mix use (Movie, Sports, Gaming) television you can go wrong with the Hisense U8G.

I use this TV primarily for gaming. I was looking for something with great color and black levels, with no burn in risk. This fit the bill, the blacks are really good, not as good as OLED, but this TV was almost half the price of a OLED of the same size with these gaming features. The value can't be beat.

Bang for your Buck - great TV! I bought two 65 inch and can’t be happier. I’m not a snob so maybe my expectations are a little low, but did lots of research on TVs and this consistently was rated high. Colors are very bright - the controller is easy to use and let’s me bounce between Xbox and my apps for TV. For $1k you won’t find anything better at this price.

This TV is amazing for the price. I know it doesn't quite match up to the top of the line OLED TVs from Sony and LG but the picture quality is great, it looks good in a bright room and has features that no other TV in this price range has. 4k is amazing on this. Upscaled lower quality obviously is not as good but looks good enough for me. Overall, highly recommend.

This tv is pretty good for the price. It knows what is plugged in and you can tell it what to turn on by saying hey google. Turn a console on and the tv turns on. The picture is good and colors look amazing. I currently play horizon 2 on it and looks better than most the high end tvs. Even on rating.com days this tv is best for games out of most new tvs

This is for the average user...out of the box, the picture quality is as follows: for 4k input, it is excellent, for 1080p, it is very good. But for 720p (dvds) or lower, the upscaling, if any, is poor. My 6 yr old Sony had better upscaling. The audio quality is better than my old Sony. Couple of minor points...the usb inputs are too close to the hdmi inputs. With the hdmi cable plugged in, it is impossible to plug in a usb thumb drive. I had to get a usb extension cable and plug the thumb drive into it. I also wish the a/c cord was a foot longer. Have not tried out the gaming mode yet.

I owned the U8G for about two weeks before deciding to upgrade to an OLED. It was a great TV that sounded amazing. My biggest gripe was the upscaling of non-4K content; picture was good but not great. Native 4k HDR content looked amazing, but that’s probably 15% of my utilization.

I'm loving this TV, super bright with great blacks, HDR gaming just pops off the screen, its amazing. I was worried about getting an off name brand, but so far this is just as good if not better than the Samsung equivalent for $500 less.

The picture quality on this TV is absolutely stunning. I truly love the TV itself, my only issue is with the ESPN and Sling App built into the TV. If you use these two streaming services, this TV will require an additional smart tv device such as a ROKU. The Sling App causes the TV to freeze and reset itself over and over. In a 45 minute period the TV reset 4 times trying to use Sling. I purchased a new Roku device, started using that and have not had a single freeze/reset. It just stinks that I can't use the smart TV feature to its fullest and have to have an additional device to use Sling.

Delivered by BB as promised. TV setup was easy and pretty straight forward. Updated OS when first started. Have had it about 2 wks now and am quite pleased with the picture quality and TV apps. I have installed a couple of more apps including browser, movie apps, and file manager apps all of which are working great. Adjusted some of the picture settings to my liking and made a bit of a difference to an already great picture. I researched Hisense for the past nearly 2 years and am seeing they are becoming a heavy hitter with their upper value ULED's. Was going to go for the H9G and glad I waited long enough for this to come up with great online reviews. Bought my sister a H8G nearly 2 years ago for her new home. It's a great TV as well for her needs and still works perfectly.

Bought the X900H last year hoping to have a great "Future Proof" TV and Sony broke promises, this TV is leagues ahead in every way, features work without a update at a later date that never came "Sony" Bright enough to maybe need shades and HDR is AMAZING.....
