Amazingly Bright Screen. CEC needs improvement

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This set is definitely the brightest tv I have owned, as during Dolby Vision mode, lightning is almost blinding in a dark room(Hocus Pocus 2). The smart portion of the TV(GoogleTV) is very responsive compared to my older LG WebOS sets. However, I do use this with the latest generation Apple TV 4K and there are some issues getting it to connect through a 4K receiver. The enhanced HDMI mode, does solve those issues. It also does a great job of displaying "dark scenes", compared to my older sets. The first episode of Andor was almost too dark in parts on my older set and on this tv everything is visible clear. My only complaint is that CEC does not behave well. It will randomly turn on my bluray player instead of going to the apple tv. My other tv's do not have this issue with CEC. I would recommend this tv as overall it is pretty great experience, but I can't give it a full five stars as the CEC control issues don't allow for a simple turn-on and start watching content on a connected device. It is a good value for what I paid.

Cheap for what it is, but lacks no qualities. Screen burn in is not a thing, super high quality image, excellent speakers, if you’re on the edge about what TV to get next then this one is always going to be my go to recommendation
