I was happy with the purchase till 2 weeks ago.
I have had the TV for 2 years and 1 month. Happily surprised with the picture quality, super bright, clear and visually pleasing.
2 weeks ago, a blueish halo appareared out of nowhere (see pictures). I didn't clean the screen, I tried all the factory resets and troubleshooting, etc...Nothing fixed it. It seems the screen is damaged.
It happened just after Hisense warranty. The customer support is bad, and of course because the warranty expired despite the very short month after they didn’t care.
I won't buy again a Hisense as I can't trust the quality and customer support. It's still a $1000 TV and to be damaged like this just after 2 years that's bad.

Clear and sexy tv works instantly. No lagging in apps. Can side load apps and do more. Tv has a great processor. If you got 2k go spend, oled is the best!

Incredible TV. Ps5 games are fantastically bright and responsive when configured properly! Very feature rich - I only wish it was 75”

The unit I received was defective but will be reordering.
Crystal clear picture. Insanely bright. Average to good sound. Had an issue where all or a sudden there was a white cast on the screen. But, Best Buy was super quick to take it back and refund me. Will be reordering the same tv.

Solid FEATURE SET, I/O Connectivity supports HDMI 2.1. Will note, for Parents Bedroom.
I personally have always had Plasma (PANASONIC PLASMA ST50? STILL BEST PIC IN HOUSE - until LG OLED C3 77" is released.
Hisense will be updated if the pic to price reveals horrible QUALITY and Fails. Shall see.

Ok this TV is great. Been almost a month and I love the picture quality. I'm trying to figure out the knock of the Google home screen but for ease of use I like. You also need remember that I'm upgrading from a 3d LG lol so kinda of a no brainer that is better. Interface ready picture better sound great price great. For me it came down to this TV or the tcl6 and this woman because of brightness and sound.

The Hisense 65" smart t.v. offers a affordable alternative to those looking to upgrade all without breaking your bank. Hisense over the last few decades has been starting to make a impact that is actually worth noting. And while not all alternative off brands offer the quality most seek, the old saying "You get what you pay for" does not really seem to apply to this brand as you actually tend to get more than what you actually pay for.
This unit can be be mounted both on the included stands or on a wall. I found that due to the size and the flat movie theater style look this unit seemed to shine best when mounted on stands. Set up is done very easily and as this is a android style TV your android account can be linked to the TV so that you can watch all your movies purchased through the app store. You also get all the standard Google services by talking in to your remote such as "Hey Google play a action movie." With it being a android style smart TV you do have access to the full app store and can download all the latest streaming services. Now if your not a android user no worry you can either sign up for a account or simply bypass this feature. Now im gonna be very honest right off the bat and tell you that i have owned 2 other Hisense TV's in the past and i was not happy at all with the picture quality or build quality of Hisense's TV's. I always had issues with burn in and picture display after about the second year. Quality has always been very subpar as well with their units being lower quality then most TV's. Now with that being said when i plugged this TV in and fired it up i was greatly impressed to say the least with just how awesome the picture quality was. With this being a LED set up i was not expecting the colors to pop as much as they do. You get true Blacks with the brightest of colors such as red and green coming through so vibrantly that they almost seem to radiate outward. This was not the same Hisense i remember from the past, they have 100% stepped up their game and put out a TV that is well worth its weight in dollars. The second thing i noticed was there was a vent in the middle of the back of the TV. At first glance i thought maybe this was a vent for heat dissipation, however this was actually a built in subwoofer for bass control. Which leads me to my next impression which was audio quality. I have subwoofers and soundbars simply due to the poor quality of stock TV speakers. When i first heard the audio i honestly thought it was coming from my soundbar only to find out that the audio was actually coming from the stock Hisense TV speakers. The audio quality is evenly dispersed through the room and the built in bass speaker hit so clean that i can feel every impact of a tackle as i was watching my favorite football team play. Bass and audio can be controlled through the TV's settings and does allow for full equalizer controls. You can also set up different TV modes depending on what it is you are trying to accomplish. For example there is game mode which will put a bigger emphasis on refresh rate in order to reduce ghosting or input lag when gaming. Speaking of which this TV also comes equipped with Vsync allowing you to console or PC game directly off the TV with no lag whatsoever. I will say that it didn't matter if i was watching a high pace action movie or playing a fast pace game such as Apex, the TV was able to hang with no noticeable screen tearing or input lag from the controller. This alone was very impressive given the amount of work that is needed to refresh a bigger size TV.
All in all this is a no brainer and a easy buy. All the specs can easily found off Best Buy or the manufactures site so i don't want to waste time reiterating what has already been published. Picture quality is the main thing most people notice and believe when i tell you picture quality stands out big time with this TV. Audio comes in at a very strong second place as most guest were actually blown away by how well the stock audio speakers sounded when watching our favorite sports teams play. If your a person who likes watching movies and is looking for a TV that can double up as a large screen display when gaming then this a must have unit as it is very well rounded for both set ups. It comes with all the standard smart TV features that you know and are used to so much has changed in this area. But quite honestly the price point that this units come in at makes it almost a steal as you are almost sure to get more then you payed for in a good way. I can honestly say as someone who has experience with this brand they have definitely put some effort in to stepping up their game and it clearly shows. Time will tell if they can hold up to the test but so far im happy with what i see.

Worked great for the first two years. Then, a month after the manufacturer warranty expired, a massive gray blotch appeared on the screen. No physical damage to tv, no sun exposure, and no extended use (leaving on for days etc)… so this came out of nowhere. See the attached image for just how bad the blotch is, it’s ridiculous.
Best Buy is telling me that, even though this issue has been reported before, that they’re not going to discount an equitable replacement, or that I can pay for this lemon of a tv to be repaired (no thanks, I’ll take a deep discount on an equitable replacement LG or Samsun from that year).
Avoid this brand. Clearly this brand tv has issues, and I’m concerned that Best Buy is knowingly selling expensive tvs with major (or intentionally built in) defects. We all know planned obsolescence is unfortunately a thing, but a two year shelf life is ludicrous.

At just over the 2-year point of owning this Hisense U8H 65” tv, the screen panel has gone bad. 80% of the screen is blue, making the viewable picture awful. And unfortunately, it started happening just after the 2 year BestBuy TotalCare warranty on it had expired. I will never buy a Hisense product again.
