Pick this up as a curbside pickup got home my husband put the wall mount up As we were about to put the TV on wall mount we turned the tv on and we noticed a J2 into the screen. Not sure what it was so we tried googling what this could be. Almost as something is burned into the screen. Long story short we returned it.

Ive had this tv for about 60 days and its going bad. The bad part is I've only had it out the box for 2 weeks. I would give it 0 stars if i could.

I've read a ton of reviews online from Amazon to Best Buy and I found most of the issues with this model came from sellers other than Best Buy, so I purchased mine from Best Buy. My TV was delivered by Geek Squad 2 weeks ago and was in perfect condition when it arrived. The box it came in wasn't damaged, nothing was missing, and the TV itself was packaged very well. I like that it's a Google TV because its simple to link to my Google account but my stand alone Roku Ultra hooked up to my Full HD non smart TV in my bedroom is twice to three times faster in terms of responsiveness. The picture is excellent although there are certain instances where the edges of the screen are grayish. For the price though it's a fantastic. My previous TV was a 55 inch 1080p Samsung smart tv from 2012 that cost almost twice as much as this model and in comparison the Hisense is comparable to a UHD version of my Samsung which I still own. I'm extremely happy but I wish I would have purchased the 75 inch just because it's now $20 cheaper than my 70 inch. The only 4k content I've streamed came from YouTube and the picture quality was EXCELLENT. I've read some pretty alarming reviews stating the TV died on them after a year so I made sure to purchase an extended warranty that replaced my tv if that was to happen and seriously the TV was around $500 so adding another $60 to the cost for a geek squad protection won't kill your pocket.

This is my first Hisense TV. They have been around a few years now and I had heard some good things so I was really looking forward to upgrading from my 55" to a 70" LED TV. First, 70 inches is a whole lot of real estate. If you are seriously thinking about getting a TV this big, ensure you have the space for it. If you have a small living room or apartment, 70 inches might be too big for you. I had concerns about it fitting on my entertainment center but fortunately it comes with 2 different stand settings where you can adjust the width of the legs as needed. And of course, like nearly all modern TVs, you could also use a wall mount. Picture quality was phenomenal for such an affordable television. I have watched sports, streamed Netflix content, watched cable programming, and gamed on my Xbox. Everything looks phenomenal. It seems to handle motion well which is good because I watch a lot of sports. Out of the box the brightness levels were a bit high for me and I have since turned down the back-lighting. Audio is what you would expect from modern televisions. The speakers will make do if needed, but most people will want to hook up a soundbar or home audio system to get high quality audio. As with any TV, positioning is very important. You will get a significant glare off of this glossy screen at angles that reflect light sources (see images). I really enjoyed how simple set-up was. Since this is an Android TV, you can connect to your gmail account and automate the set-up process right from your phone. I had quick access to my YouTube account and this Smart TV can be set up to push email and calendar notifications to your TV if you want. After several days with this 70" Hisense, I am really impressed. I'll strongly consider going with this brand for my next purchase when it comes time to upgrade other TVs in my home.

Once unboxed and put on my tv stand mount I started to setup the Android TV part and get signed into my apps. I use apple TV but decided for this review I would setup the default UI that is Android TV. Apps install fast and going between each app with the included remote is easy to use and intuitive. I use Youtube TV for my main streaming service and it runs very well on this TV. I’ve had experience with other Hisense Android TVs (last years model) and it had issue with running out of memory and space. This TV so far has not had that issue. Everything runs pretty well. The settings are typical for an Android TV, nothing to report as weird or out of the ordinary. I use a soundbar through the TVs HDMi ARC port so i have not listened to the TV speakers but just for a few minutes. They are a bit tiny but I would be ok with them if I didn’t have a soundbar. The picture as long as you’re on a bright colored show is really great. the HDR shows through and really makes the picture pop. The problem comes when you’re watching a dark scene. There are grey blotches all over the screen. kinda like light bleed but different. They show up and can be distracting while watching anything dark. It’s really disappointing. I’ve added a photo that shows what I’m talking about. luckily most things i watch are bright and colorful. i’m taking away 2 stars for the grey blotches. Overall for the price this is a decent 70” 4K HDR tv. Just so long as yours doesn’t have the grey blotches. I think Hisense has a quality control issue and this isnt the first Hisense TV i’ve had issues with.

This Hisense TV is absolutely amazing. It's also using Google's Android OS for it's software. There are a lot of advantages if you're in the Android eco system. The Google Play Store is pre-installed on this TV, so you will be able to access your Google Play store account directly from this TV and you'll have the ability to download Apps from the Google Play Store and use them on the TV. This is a huge advantage over other TVs because you'll be able to find more of the apps you want using the Google Play Store rather than some of these other companies online app store. I purchased this TV after my TCL Roku TV's backlit array went out.. I had a 65" TCL and this TV replaced it. I use this TV as a monitor plugged in via HDMI to my ASUS laptop. I use it as a 4k Monitor to work and code with. The HDR feature is amazing and works very well with my laptop. Also being able to watch videos full screen looks amazing as well. The picture quality is really good considering how I use the TV. In Windows, I am able to set the resolution to 4096x2160. When using the standard 4K 3840x2160, the picture didn't look as good coming from my laptop. I discovered the 4096x2160 in the display settings in Windows 10 and switched and that made all the difference in the picture quality. So if you're intending to use this to hook up your PC/Computer/Mac, make sure you set it to that resolution and the picture quality will look amazing in comparison. The sound that comes out of the speakers on the TV is what most TVs sound like. It can be very loud without distortion but lacks the quality of a good sound bar or my Sonos speakers.. but again, this is to be expected.. If this is for a bedroom, then it will sound perfect there.. Even if this is for your living room, it will fill your living room with good sound, it will just lack a bit more bass than I am used to. It does have options for TruSurround and TruBass, and these do make the TV sound a bit better than your every day TV.. So it's definitely an improvement over my previous TV. Also with Dialog Clarity, it helps to ensure that when you're watching TV and there is talking going on, it prioritizes that over music or something playing in the background on your show. This TV also has an option to tell it that it's been wall mounted so that it will adjust the sound for a TV that is higher up on the wall and not on a stand where it can bounce the sound all over the room. One of the features this TV has that my other one did not have is a lip sync sound setting.. With this you can adjust the delay of the sound to make it sync up with the video or show you're watching.. This way it won't look like a bad kung foo movie. There is also Auto Volume Control so that it will help keep the sound normalized. The amount of options this TV has to allow you to set is absolutely amazing.. There are options for all kinds of different things that my other TCL Roku TV did not have. Like for picture mode, you get 6 options.. And the options are for both HDR or non HDR, Vivid, Standard, Energy Saving, Game, Sport, and Theater. These all adjust how the picture looks on the screen. Since I use this on my laptop, I generally keep it on HDR Game so that it's processing the image quickly for the PC so you don't notice any real lag while moving the mouse, watching a video, or playing a video game. This TV also has the ability to pair speakers via bluetooth and then use your TV as an amazon alexa device. You will of course need to sync this with your amazon account, but then you have access to amazon alexa built right into the device. As mentioned above, you have access to the Google Play Store, but keep in mind, this TV only has 4.3GB of storage.. So you're not going to have a lot of space for apps.. Although you can get quite a lot of apps on it. When going through the setup, it recommended quite a few apps if you wanted to get the TV to go ahead and install them for you to kind of get you up and running quickly.. Among these is Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, Twitch, Youtube TV, Youtube Music, etc. You get the idea.. After going through the setup and choosing the apps that I wanted installed, I have 25 apps installed and 2.0GB of free space left on the device.. So you will be able to get quite a few apps installed to use. This is a Google Android based TV and you can chromecast to it. So it's very helpful to be able to pull up your phone or other things to it. Since I will be purchasing a security system here in the near future, from what I'm reading, I should be able to use my voice to say show my security camera on my TV and using the Chomecast technology, it should show up on the TV.. It will be very interesting to see if this works like that.. One feature that this TV also has it Automatic Content Recognition. It uses this to adjust the TV to what it thinks is the most optimal setting based on what you're listening to and/or watching. You can turn these on individually.. Picture Mode Auto Adaptation and/or Sound Mode Auto Adaptation. Not going to lie, kind of cool to have your TV adjusting itself to be the most optimal to what you're listening and/or watching. This TV is a good price and I consider it a very good value. My only hope is that it lasts longer than just over 1 year like the other TCL Roku TV. I probably will not buy another TCL TV based on the way it went out just after 1 year. Remember that this TV will also probably need an update coming out of the box. They have made some UI changes.. So after you get it setup and connected to your WiFi, it may take a few before it tells you that there is an update to the software.. After the update the User Interface changed a bit, but it wasn't that hard to use. Overall I think this TV is a bargain for the options you get, the Apps you can download, and the way it looks, sounds, and the utility you can get out of it being a smart TV. If you're looking at purchasing a TV, make sure this is on your list to consider.. I think you'll be glad you did!

We have been using this TV for about 15 months. It is a great value for the price. Pro's: Many inputs Google TV gives you many App options Image Quality is fine OTA TV Tuner works well Con's: Have to reboot it periodically or it gets really slow Limited app storage - but can expand storage with a USB stick Google TV can freeze or run slow at times

All my other TVs are high-end Samsungs, LGs and Sonys, I bought this TV for my workout room. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a TV where people would be slinging kettlebells and jumping around. And no, I am not going to lie and say this TV looks as good as by Samsung 9 series but, for the price it is darn good. The sound quality is very clear and you can turn it up without it getting too harsh. It doesn't have any bass, but what can you expect at this price point and from such a beautiful thin design. I especially like the Android TV interface, I found it easy-to-use and configure as compared to my other sets. And look mom no firestick needed! Extremely good picture quality, sound and looks for the money!

Was cautious when buying this tv. Great picture. Surprisingly good for the price. Usually buy LG or Samsung TV’s. This one is up there, especially for the price .
