I’ve had this 70in tv now for 2 weeks now and wow! The tv is definitely big and has great picture! If your looking for a tv that has a good picture and keeping cost to minimal this is the one. Now saying that don’t expect your buying champagne with beer money. The tv does lack with the blacks in dark videos but that can easily be managed by changing the settings to make it better. I also use this tv on the regular to stream Netflix,YouTube, and Disney plus and works great! Also playing my ps4 it works awesome! I always do a lot of research before any tv purchase and I’m pleased greatly. This is my second Hisense brand tv and both do not disappoint. So if your thinking if this tv is good for being so keep, so yourself a favor and go pick it up. the tv on the wall next to a 50in if your wondering how much bigger it will be

Very happy with this purchase, replaced a 65" Hisense that we purchased in 2016. The extra size really helped our problem with our awkward living room having no other option but to place a couch and tv ~14 ft away from each other.
I am already a believer in the Hisense brand, but was shocked to see anything 70" under $500. Great colors, no white spots/ghosting, Roku tv os is very fluid, fast and responsive. TV boots right into menu in under three seconds from power off which was a huge upgrade vs our last Hisense model.
The only issue I experienced was regarding wall mounting. We've used the same wall mount, same screws, washers etc on three prior TV sets, but this one had larger holes for the screws than what we had been using. Had to run to another big box home repair store and purchased correct screws for around $5. The mounts for the back of the TV are also not centered on the tv, they're down at the bottom. So, when we put it up on the wall, it's about 6 inches higher than where the old tv sat. Also, the power cable included is laughably short. Had to run an extension cord through the wall, and hope it never comes unplugged.

I bought this on sale, and for a TV of this size, with HDR10 and Dolby Vision, and built in Roku, you cant go wrong for half the price of other bigger name sets! Look, it’s not an OLED (you’ll spend 5 times more for that), it doesn’t have LED zones (that can go bad) l, and it doesn’t have a fancy nameplate, but it’s a really sweet picture with striking color. It works flawlessly, connects with an optical cable to a decent soundbar and sub system, and gives me theatre-like performance in my living room. A place I spend a lot of times these days in this Coronafunk. Let them deliver it to your door because size really does matter in this case.

It’s all about the size! At 70 inches the view from any angle is impressive. Though the picture is not as polished as higher end systems, it satisfies my needs (candidly, I can’t really tell the difference between the $2000 picture and the $500 picture unless I’m seeing them side-by-side at Best Buy... oh well).
The Hisense image passed my “Lawrence of Arabia” test (at 28:34, Sherif Ali appears clearly on the horizon out of the dust...just as David Lean intended). Well worth the price.

I now believe I sit in a theater watching such a big screen. The Hisense 70 is a great picture and Roku simplified the set-up process. This was definitely a best buy. Harrharr. I am very happy I bought it.

So glad I purchased this. Mounts nicely in living room and all the streaming channels are awesome! The only thing is voice command on the remote should be included with Roku but it’s not. Other than that it’s a beautiful TV. Well worth $500+, in fact I bought 2!

I purchased this TV during a flash sale for $449, I was a little skeptical about the quality since the price was so low but I’m very happy with the TV. Very bright colors and screen is clear. Would definitely recommend.

So, we were looking for a large tv I’ll be honest we did not do much research whatsoever, I have two TVs already one lg 49 inch and one Vizio 55 inch so we wanted something much larger for games movies etc and it had to be 4K uhd——- so when i saw a 70 inch 4k tv for 500 bucks I just had to buy it. The tv is crisp and large! Sound quality is awesome, all the way around a great deal and on top of it it already has Roku built inside. This tv is AWESOME! Now for the downsides the picture options, mostly for us watching tv while going to sleep and wanting to take the brightness down a lot, this tv is unable to do that, once you start taking the brightness down the picture quality goes to crap but that doesn’t break the deal at all. Overall I would definitely recommend this tv — you won’t be disappointed at all. If you want a huge tv and a small price go on and get it before they are all gone!! Thank me later — cash app me 5 bucks once you get it and agree it’s awesome $eagleokay take care folks

I wanted to upgrade my secondary tv before everything stopped for the coronavirus, so I bought this tv...the cheapest tv in it's size. I've only had it for a day, but I have to say, I am *really* impressed. My main tv is a projector with a 120" motorized screen, so I'm spoiled for image quality and size, yet I'm still truly impressed by the picture that this tv produces, especially for the price. The setup was a breeze, the remote is downright dreamy (insanely simple yet fully functional), and somehow it automatically found and adopted my soundbar (connected via optical) as the main volume to be controlled by the remote.
I love that I can name the HDMI ports whatever I want (can write "chromecast" rather than whatever is closest so it makes sense for everyone in the house and any guest), and that the home screen is the same as a standard roku homescreen with channels for each of the attached outputs (games, chromecast, etc). Sure, there could be more ports, but for a tv at this price, one can use an hdmi splitter to get around that.
My goal when buying technology is to have the nicest stuff possible at the cheapest price, without having too many sacrifices. Sure, I'm sure there's a tiny bit of lag for gaming or a less than bleeding edge version of certain formats, but for a basic tv to meet basic needs while still having a darn good picture, this tv certainly fits the bill. I'm downright ecstatic with this purchase at this price.

cant beat it. when you get yours, go into the settings and adjust the brightest. Boom.. beautiful picture.
Easy set up too. dont need to be a computer nerd to set it up. If your using a TV stand make sure its at least 60" wide minimum.

I bought the 50" of this model just needing a new TV and it was on sale altogether spending about $250 then after the holiday season I waited for the stores to be overstock and drop the prices again. Sure enough my patience paid off. I returned the 50" added some cash and got this big baby and to be honest I was gonna keep the 50" and was happy with it but the detail on this larger screen is outrageous. I'm a gamer and the details are breathtaking. So sharp and clear it's a winner all around sound, picture, clarity & it looks great on my bedroom wall. Would've gave it 5 stars but the cord is a bit short..but that's what extension cords are for right!! Get this TV in your life. Save some money and have the same great quality as a Samsung or LG

I've had this TV for a few days now and its continuing to surprise me. As far as the apps, you get a whole bunch of apps, some free ones also. Depending on your taste, you can find what you like. Scrolling through the different apps is very snappy and you're able to move quickly through the menus. A few things I want to nit pick about are the fact that the video setting change with each "mode" you're in. For example, if I go to antenna and change the color, it wont be the same saved settings if I go to HDMI port #2. This caught me off guard because I thought I was doing something wrong. No biggie though. Also, turning off the TV takes about 2 seconds after pressing the off button on the control. Normally TV's go off immediately. Again nothing "wrong" with this. Just thought I'd add this info in the review. Now for the positives. As far as colors go, initially I thought the TV wasn't displaying the colors correctly, but when I compared it to my old Samsung, this TV displays the colors much more accurately. The Samsung was overly saturated and had a hard time getting skin tones and bright colors to display correctly. Blues and Reds were very Blue and Red. This TV however is very accurate. Skin looks like skin and people don't look like avatars. Also scenes with fire are realistic and don't look like its computer generated. Blacks are very black and not grey. This is because it's an LED TV which is waaaaay better at colors than LCD TV's. All of this creates an immersive experience not many other TV's can match. TV's have come a long way in the last 2 years. 2 years ago it was hard to find a cheap TV with LED technology and HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. Now you can have it all in this TV. You'll notice a big difference with the built-in apps like Netflix and Starz. Movies are very compelling especially those with HDR. I would say that the peak brightness isn't that high, but is still very good. Sony's are the best at TV's but literally cost $1000 more. This TV is not $1000 less the viewing experience. This TV is not on Sony's level but you can't complain when the next best thing is a full 5 inches smaller and at least $200 more expensive. This TV is 90% of the experience of those high end TV's for way less money. All in all this is an excellent TV for the price. A true 9 out of 10 in my book.
