I actually got this for $750 last week and could not be happier. I planned to wait until Black Friday for a deal but 750 was good enough for me.
I have a 58" Westinghouse Roku tv (paid $280 from Best Buy for it )in my living room and now this 75" Hisense in my basement. IMO you really dont need to pay the extra $500-1000 for a more known brand name if you are willing to spend a little time tweaking the picture and sound to your liking on these more affordable TVs. And they have a lot of configurations available on this TV for various formats (HD, Dolby Vision Bright/Dark, Standard, Theater Dark/Bright,Sports). You will need to turn off "enhanced motion" if you do not like the soap opera effect too. It comes automatically on in all of the picture modes.
I really like the Android TV aspects, I can customize the home screen the way I want it and it works great with Youtube TV which is my source of pay TV. The Google assistant button works well for my connected items like my lights in the basement. You can install those..ahem..bootleg apps..like the Firestick has as well right onto the TV.
The sound from the TV is actually really really good for regular viewing but I still have a Polk Audio soundbar for movies and sports.
4k content and Dolby Vision content all look amazing. I had read some "expert" reviews saying that the TV did not get as bright but its in my basement, so it looks great to me. Even with all the basement lights on it seems plenty bright so who knows? Sometimes I suspect those review websites of being paid by the bigger names to prop up their top brands anyway.
I was able to set up the TV onto my stand by myself by positioning it on a footstool right by the stand then sliding it onto the stand, otherwise its pretty wide so you may need a second set of hands to safely guide it to where you will place it.
I really recommend it, and just get a 4yr warranty from Upside for $99 if you are worried about the name brand not holding up. Still come out ahead in the long run that way too.

Incredible Value for Money

Bought this as my primary TV to be paired with my Yamaha RX-V6A receiver and Klipsch Dolby Atmos system.
The TV is amazing value for money
Picture Quality - While it does suffer from not having local dimming (not possible at these prices) it's quite amazing to have Dolby Vision at this size at this price. Shows like Rings of Power on Prime Video look stunning as do high saturation content like Virgin River on Netflix. The panel is not the greatest for dark scenes but you will forget all about that when you're watching most average content.
Really good for sports as well and the TV does a good enough job of upscaling 1080p content.
Sound
Even more expensive TVs don't have great sound and I would advise a sound bar.
UI
The android TV UI is very easy to use and the remote is nice and chunky just the way I like it with nice big buttons that are easy to use in the dark.
I can get to the content I want pretty fast and that's all that matters to me.
My excellent rating is based on the amount of features for the price I paid.

Browser and some remote issues hurt this TV

This TV has been a bit frustrating for me. First off I think the picture is great and the speakers surprisingly loud even though I use an external source most of the time. I am not a finicky viewer and this TV is for my bar so I am even less concerned about the picture than I would be for my living room. I havent done much with the picture than just pick a temperature setting and left it alone and have been real happy with its looks and others have said it looks pretty good as well.
The part really holding this TV back is the functionality of it. Sometimes the remote doesnt seem to trigger a response and will kind of leave you mashing buttons until the TV freezes. I did learn that the place to aim the remote is off to the left and I am typically sitting way right of the TV so that may have something to do with it , but I seemed to figure that out until this past weekend. It seems that now the TV doesnt want to register the remote further than say 6-7ft. I was able to change it from my bar about 10-12ft away with ease before. I have 3 of these remotes from the other two 50" Hisense units I bought at the same time , so one remote can control all 3. Same frequency I guess.
So one of the main things I got this unit for is because of the Android operating system. Anything I am streaming via an app Youtube , ESPN , etc seems to work fine , but I tend to stream a lot of sports from different websites using the onboard browser. The two 50" Hisense units I have flanking this TV, stream the websites fine using the StraHi (?) browser that comes pre-installed work fine and give little fuss. This 75" just seems to have some struggle with website browsing , it will buffer and buffer while the other 2 are streaming along from the same site. I downloaded the Puffin TV browser as the onboard one seemed clunky and I thought that might be the problem , which it seemed to be for the time being. It worked as expected for a few months and has now went back to buffering like the original browser did. I know these TV's are not optimized for web browsing , but the 50" do it pretty well.
Hopefully there will be an update that addresses this issue because it really brings the TV down in overall score. If you dont plan on doing much browsing and sit directly infront of the TV , its probably an excellent choice.

Android TV are the best I love this TV easy to set up great color you can use your phone to setup the initial setup process. I had bought the 70" but it was not big enough for the space I had put it, I wasn't happy until I exchange it for my 75" Hisense TV now everything look good in my living room best purchase I ever done.

Well my first android tv, mostly used to smart tv. A bit of a difference, but still easy to use. Picture quality is great specially 4K & HDR. Sound quality could be better, but it's decent. Still great tv for the price. Have no issues with it at all.

The picture isn't as good as some of the higher priced models, but you are really talking about a 3% degradation in picture quality with a 50% decrease in cost. The cost savings are worth the loss in picture quality, which is still pretty decent quality. It could be a little brighter for daytime viewing.
I love the fact that it is an android machine. You can download most of the same apps from the play store that you would get on your phone or tablet. Lots of fun options to play with.
Just remember to turn off the "Motion Enhancement". I say this about every TV though. If you leave it on, it makes all shows and movies look like live broadcast. It's annoying. The only thing it is good for is watching older shows that were recorded before HD was around.

Love this television . Just take your time learning the features like I should've . I have the tv on antenna channels with tv antenna in the back but I also have amazon fire antenna hooked up for dvr recordings , channels and such from the Amazon Dvr box . In other words I have 2 antennas hooked up . Makes it easier for my 90 yr mom for regular channels .Switching back in forth no problem see the picture below just scroll over to the arrow click on it says inputs then pick what you need . The google remote works pretty good just talk to it and you will learn it .
Would've given a 5 star but Hisense customer serivce didn't call me back liked they promised when I needed help.

I am absolutely blown away by the quality of this TV. I’m sure most of you have seen the rtings reviews and are worried about brightness levels- don’t be, this thing is absurdly bright and crisp. Small bezels, great build in speakers, Android TV has every App you need and is really easy to use. Full grin LED array made me choose it over the similarly priced Samsung panel that is border lit. Seriously, take a shot ok this TV and you will not regret it. This may have saved my marriage.

Beautiful TV and good image (for the price). But there's a big issue with this current firmware, not only with this model. The On Screen volume display keeps popping when the soundbar is connected using ARC every 5 seconds (Something really annoying).
Hisense said months ago that they are going to send an update via OTA, but not yet.
For 50$ more, get the LG or Samsung.

Very nice tv when it works. I have had it now for about 1 year, in that time I had to have Hisense come to repair it. First one circuit board went bad, they sent a couple of guys to fix it (great). Not so much the second circuit board went within about 1 month. Not too good, now it has major pixel problems, picture constantly jumps all over. Buyer beware!

For the price I am amazed! On the flip side I do have a 32 inch Samsung frame with excellent quality, that I am equally in love with. The picture on this 75” has amazed my family and playing call of duty warzone on this massive screen...priceless! Wonderful tv we love it!

It's a great TV with a big screen and small borders. The tv sound is incredibly good, you don't need a sound device to improve this. Thanks
