So many people want a big tv without the $2000+ price tag that comes with the OLED and high native refresh rate. Yes, those features are great, and when viewed side by side with this TV will be noticeable.
However, most people are connecting a 4K Roku or using the built-in apps to watch a 1080p live stream or Netflix so it's not necessary.
I was a bit apprehensive about the HIsense brand and may be proven right over time since I'm only a week in on this TV. I had Hisense Chromebooks about five years ago and support and repair parts for those were less than stellar. I decided to give this one a go due to its price. I bought the Samsung 6900 70" as an Open Box item for $420 and returned it the next day.
I spent nearly 2 hours working with the video of the Samsung and got it acceptable but nothing like the full array backlighting I had on the Vizio I was replacing. The sound was also less than desirable on the Samsung. The Hisense claims to have a full array backlighting but I was skeptical since it was only $699. I bought it anyway and took it home. The picture quality is superior to the Samsung and it DOES have a full array backlighting instead of the edge lighting found on other sub $1000 TVs.
The picture is bright and responsive with good blacks and vibrant colors. I am happy with the image and didn't adjust anything out of the box. The sound is great and can be used without a soundbar if you have to.
I find the Android TV experience better than the Roku TV experience and have paired a Bluetooth game controller to play games downloaded from the Google Play Store to the TV.
It is a native 60hz tv and it noticeable at times, but you really have to be focusing on higher speed action. I watch a lot of hockey and have seen a slight blur when the camera angle is far from the action, but not when there is focus on a smaller portion of the play or on a single player. Some of that could be the feed and not the actual tv rendering.
There are also several additional inputs on this tv than on other TVs less than $1000. There are 3 HDMI inputs where 2 is standard on all other TVs in this range. You also have a headphone jack which sounds stupid but is useful for several applications when digital audio out is not an option.
Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to someone who wants a big tv on a tight budget. It won't outperform a $2000 tv but it will definitely wow the sub $1000 tv crowd. Go into it knowing what category you are buying into and you won't be disappointed.

I snagged this over July 4th week so it was a steal. I've been watching the price on similar tvs and this was the best deal by far. Full array, 4k, hdr, android, it couldn't get much better. I ordered it on the 29th and it was delivered on the 1st bright and early. I had the mount ready to go and we got it set up in no time. It works with my Sony sound system and the picture is great! It looks like everyone is in our living room. I'll update down the line once we have had it a while.

I had such a good experience with the 65inch Hisense TV, that I decided to get the same brand for my living room (just purchased a house). I wanted an 82 or 85 but they were sold out and decided to settle with the 75inch. It’s not too much of a difference in size between the 65 and 75 in my opinion. Right out of the box, looked pretty nice. The legs were really hard to screw on but took some torque to get the screw on. The setup was easy since I already went through it with my first Hisense. The only issue is that some apps do lag and sometime it doesn’t respond. I’d say for the price, it’s great but if you can afford more, would probably went with a Samsung, LG or Sony. The speakers are louder than some other brands. But overall I’m happy with it. Let’s see how long this will last though.

This is a great bang for your buck tv. I'm two weeks in and hav no real complaints. I have an Android shield from my old TV, but haven't felt the need to plug it in yet if that tells you anything. Disney+ has crashed 2 times during playback from movies the "ultra high def" section (both times you just play again and it works), but aside from that it's handled everything. I have it wired in with 1Gb Ethernet, and it's handled my USB movies fine and my 1080 Plex collection. It's all in how you use it. If you demand 4k every second of every day, then double your budget for a 75 or go down to a 65. If you watch a lot of native 1080, antenna, plex and basic apps like Hulu/Netflix/HBO/ which don't have a ton of 4k, then I'd rather have this 75 then a 65 for the same price.
I don't want to sell the 4k too short. It's fine overall and works great. It's a huge upgrade from my 55' inch 1080 Vizio. If you're upgrading a 1080 TV, you're going to be very very happy. The soap opera affect is minimal, I actually like it and it can be adjusted.
If you started doing research and are obsessing over all these weird metrics that you don't understand, I can assure you this TV is more than adequate. Ignore them unless your needs are unique, or you have some hyper awareness that most people don't. Again, it's all in how you use it.
I work in IT and so far love this TV. I hope this helps. There were literally zero reviews when I bought it, and this is the information I was looking for, so I hope it helps.

I bought it for a gift to my mother and because one day I was watching a same brand tv before, and I was shock to see the definition colors for which I never seen with some other more popular brand names unless you paid the price of a car for them. I wasn’t the only person made the same comment concerning the beautiful colors and definition in this TV. My mother is absolutely happy with this tv. I will come back and let you know a few years I hope, if it kept up It’s quality. Great price, easy set up and functionality, so far perfect !!!!

Hisense 75 Inch HDTV--decent value

We purchased this tv after purchasing a 55 inch Hisense for our patio. WELL the 55 inch just WASN'T BIG ENOUGH! :) So we purchased a 75 inch Hisense. Both tvs use the Android OS, which is SO much easier for we 'older' users who are tv-challenged! But I must admit, the 55 inch was a better experience for me than the 75 inch. You would THINK they are the same, but they are not. But for this one, it's a GOOD value for the money. Decent enough for a patio tv playing YT videos, watching tv, and renting movies. For a more sophisticated tv watcher, it may not be your choice. But if you want BIG, EASY TO OPERATE and you are like me, NOT TOO PICKY, then this is the tv for you! Cheers!

Very easy to set up with our Google account and various streaming apps. Picture quality is great and sound is LOUD, even without a soundbar or other external sound system. Overall very happy with this purchase and would recommend this brand. The product is affordable and the quality matches that of the equivalent Samsung and Sony models that my friends and family have.

I've been using this tv over the past month and the only complaint I have is with the remote. It sometimes seems to struggle for the tv to receive the signal. Like I have to point it directly at the sensor, and try multiple times to turn it on/off. Other than that, image and sound quality is good. I'm happy with the purchase.

An excellent TV at a fair price. Great picture, easy set up with my Android phone. Missing 1 star since I do not like how you *must* integrate these smart TVs with your various devices so companies can sell you the TV at cost and then sell your data. I would prefer to pay a bit more and never have my information collected, but today there is no option except to buy into the smart TV ecosystem.

For $750, it is what I needed. My vision is going and my wife's hearing is going. This thing is big and gets loud. Not the best picture in the world, but that is likey due to the fact that our signal is only 720, not 1080 or 4k. It is easy to operate and hooked up to our TiVo easily. If you are real picky, spend 2-3k. If you just want a big picture with lots of sound, this was a great buy for $750. I am very pleased.

This tv is the best value tv out. You get what you pay for but this tv looks great in full screen 4K. Playing PS5 on this tv is great and no issues at all. Watching tv looks just as good as a high end tv. The blacks are not as black as a tv 5 times higher In price but at this price it is expected. I would recommend this tv to someone in the price range and wants a big tv.

This is a excellent TV for the money. 4k content looks great, no issues, the sound is a lot better than I expected,it gets really loud you really don't need a soundbar. It has a chromecast built in, and with some minor setup works well. 75 inches is massive, but you really do get used to the size. There really aren't alot of negatives about this TV; 1080p content does not look the best, however I think thats an issue with most brands, but it's still watchable. Overall, for under 700$ on sale, I really don't see a point in spending more on say an LG or Samsung, as this Hisense is just as comparable. No it isn't an OLED, and no it doesn't have 1000 nits brightness, but for an everyday casual watcher-this will be hard to beat.

Bought this TV during a July 4th weekend sale. TV is normally $999 but it was on sale for $699. We moved into a new house and our 50 inch was way too small for the living area so we upgraded to a 75. We were debating on this Hisense or a Samsung, but this one had better reviews and was slightly cheaper. Picture quality is better than the Samsung as well in my opinion. Very easy to navigate and we haven't had a problem yet (even though it's only been a month). I would definitely recommend.
