DO NOT PURCHASE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Owned tv for a little over three years and the back light went out - turn tv on and the screen is completely black though you can hear sound - both Hisense warranty and Geek Squad warranty has expired. A real piece of junk, would not recommend. I can only hope my other tv's hold up. Will not be purchasing a Hisense again.

Tv turns off on its own
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Tv not even a year ago and it turns off by itself and stays off… I did the reset once in the tv menu that erases all apps and you have to start from 0 and it also doesn’t help long term, lasted 2 month and it all started again. Tried the trick with unplugging the TV from the power outlet and that didn’t work either long term only a short time ( 2 weeks ) I am done I always loved Hisense the picture quality is actually good and for the money the TVs are good but I never had to deal with this issue before and I’m fed up… I want Best Buy to take care of this since I have the protection plan and I want different TV !!! This is such a hassle and really annoying.

Good, but has issues

Sound is better than expected Price is excellent Now for the bad...the TV has to be unplugged all the time because it randomly turns itself on. What a PIA that is. I have to call Bestbuy to see if it can be returned without the box. I am extremely disappointed with this problem. I’d rather pay a couple hundred more and get a different brand.

It would turn off automatically, don't buy it

But it just not work anymore now. It turns off right a way automatically once turn it on. I have never seen such problem on other TVs. Its too bad!

Short lifespan

99 Problems and this tv is one of them.

Our first issue was the remote not working with tv, so we un-plugged, but eventually it started to be a routine. We would have to un-plug it multiple times for it to work with the remote, re-program it cause some of the apps would not work, also it would turn on by itself and since yesterday when we turned it on the picture had gone completely black with the red light at the bottom where it shows if it's been turned on/off, it's flashing now. It hasn't even been a year since we've gotten it. I'm disappointed about all the problems we're having with this tv, I would not recommend getting it. Also my sister had purchased one as well about the same time last year and she's also having the same issues.

Great specs/price! OS crashes often...

However, I have had nothing but woe with the android OS loaded. Netflix has begun to flicker (as if the auto-brightness or backlight was going crazy), and will then crash to the home screen, or crash to the TV being in standby mode. Oddly, this doesn't happen in other apps, just Netflix. Amazon Prime often simply will not load. Press the remote button, OS hangs for 30 secs or so, then home screen. It's winter and I keep my house at a frosty 62-68f for temp, so it sure shouldn't be overheating! No software update available. HiSense customer service is an ABSOLUTE JOKE. Need the cheapest possible 75" 4K? THIS IS YOUR BUY! Need something that doesn't require a lot of time and effort to simply function? Spend more for a better quality TV.

Live and learn

I have Xfinity cable so we’re not really into all the apps that this tv has to offer. We have used the apps and it worked perfectly fine for what we used them for. This TV supposed to be supported by Alexa but I haven’t figured that out yet.

Everything was great about this TV Specially for the cost. BUT!!! 6 months later the screen went out. Had a tech come over to fix it but it was non repairable. Hisense call me back telling me that the model is out of stock. They are refunding back the money I paid. Luckily it was under the 1 year warranty.. When buying a product from this name brand... PLEASE! get the extended warranty!!!!!! Wish I didn't had a problem with the TV I really did enjoyed it before it went out.

NO AT&T TV allowed

AT&T is my streaming service, I can put it on my Android phone but the AT&T TV app will not go on this TV. How am I supposed to watch TV on this TV then?? To get it to work I'd have to install a roku stick and use up one of the HDMI hookups and have this roku stick hanging off of a brand new TV like it's 10 years old or something. Ridiculous. Also, the headphone jack was unusable for me because it is right next to the HDMI 1 plug in and there was not enough room for me to use it with HDMI 1 plugged in. Dumb design. I'll be returning for a Fire TV STAT. Don't buy if you have AT&T it's very dissapointing.
