TV screen goes dark and freezes

Easy to set up, however when channel surfing or switching inputs the screen goes dark and freezes. The TV has to be turned off, unplugged , wait 10 mins., plug it in, turn it back on and cross your fingers and hope for the best. This is happening more and more frequently. This is really annoying and tiresome.

PRETTY BIG SCREEN

With tax's and everything else. And I'm sure if it was side by side with one of the ones that cost 4x as much the picture quality wouldn't be too impressive.. but as of now loving the big screen! Hopefully this high..sense brand will have a good reliability and work at least 10 years before something goes wrong ....⊙﹏⊙ Then I would be able to say it's an awesome tv for the price◉‿◉◉‿

Sound control issue

Goes from normal sound to max volume whenever it wants or likes. I cant get a best buy manager to help me out with this issue. TV is not even a month old! Other than the sound going up and down by its self which i am sure ANY BUYER CAN AGREE, WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM. The TV is Beautiful.

It's a little slow to manipulate and the UI isn't as intuitive as many SmartTV options (Roku being one). I'd prefer a smoother menu to switch between apps. That said, the picture is pretty good, the sound is above average, and the size is MONSTROUS. If you can get this item for a deal, DO IT. I purchased it well-below retail and would recommend it if you can get it in the $400-600 range.

Please perform a factory reset on the television by going to Settings>Device Preferences>Reset. The television will then shut off and after coming back on will prompt you to set up the TV like when it was just out of box. I was worried I would have to get it in by myself. The TV shows a great picture and has numerous features that I will probably never use. I own an older Hisense TV and they extended the warranty during initial setup. That wasn’t offered on this one, so I hope to get many years of use from this TV. Overall, I am pleased with this product.

Great quality for the price

Hisense is definitely a competitor to TCL, Visio, and even the big players. With the settings recommended by rtings.com, the picture quality is great. I use a sound bar so I can't speak to the sound quality. But I think most people use a separate sound system. I really like the Chromecast built in. We stopped using our Roku ultra in our TV room. (Still use the roku, just not with this tv)
