75 inch Hisense TV just keeps re-booting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.75 inch Hisense TV just keeps re-booting on and off FIX. on the day it was put on, it completed 1 year of use, it looked like this… if I unplug it, it doesn’t turn on, after about 4 or 5 days of plugging it in, it starts up, if I’m very lucky

TRASH
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Worst tv I have ever had. It shows no video but has sound. Unable to connect cable box and PlayStation. I wished I would have filled my first mind and spent a little more.

Doesn’t last long.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased in 2020 worked fine until this year it comes up with an out of storage space message. It turns on but turns off automatically and won’t stay on. Never happened with any other TV I purchased. It’s only been 3 years! Will call Hisense customer service.

One of the best Black Friday Deals
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this TV looking for a good black friday deal. Very surprised with the quality of the picture and the overall sound and sound options. TV has all the output/inputs needed for your electronics. We liked it enough to go back and buy the 55'' for our basement. Not the best TV or picture money can buy....but if you are looking for a SOLID picture and VERY SOLID sound, you wont be disappointed. In my opinion, after research....one of the best under $1K 75inch Tv's available.

Hisense has another winner!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic picture, amazingly sharp with nice deep blacks which was very important to me. Watching movies, it feels like you are in the scene with actors. All the high demand apps are preinstalled including I think Chromecast which I didn't find out about until after I purchased a dongle for this unit. This is an Android TV and the Google app can pair with all your other streaming apps so if you integrate them with your Google account, you only have to login to Google to be logged into all the other apps which is a time saver if say you have internet problems and have to log in all over again. Due to a couple of annoying set up issues and other glitches, I cannot give it 4 stars and may need to update down later depending on how things go. But for the price, the quality is great and this TV is huge (at least to me it is!) so I do recommend it. I actually purchased two, one of them I gave to my son but liked it so much and the price was so good, I bought another one just like it to replace it which I guess is about the best endorsement someone can give... Hisense fix the glitches with your firmware and I would be 5 stars all day. FYI, these are my 4th and 5th Hisense TVs purchased in the last 4 years. The other two were the 55in Roku UHD 4K and I would give those TVs higher than 5 stars if I could. Love love love them, beautiful picture, not a single problem ever, plug and play and I actually prefer the Roku interface to the android and wonder if the glitches I am having now are due to android TV technology at Hisense maybe not having been around as long as Roku so they haven't quite worked out all the bugs yet. Or I could just have one of the rare TVs with a couple of issues...it happens. Anyway, I hope this helps someone.

Good big tv. Does the job!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great big tv. If you don’t mind a basic tv and by basic I mean with not many tunable settings you will love this tv. I think it has great picture and volume is ok due to its size. My only complaint is the android is it comes with is a bit laggy but I feel like all tv os’s have this problem.

Best TV Purchase I Ever Made
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have gone through a lot of TVs throughout the years and spent far more money on those than I did for this Hisense 75" TV. I picked this up back in December for $699 and it was a steal. I was skeptical about Hisense because I usually go for the more well known, and more expensive, manufactures, like Sony, Samsung and LG. In my opinion, the picture quality and functionality is right up there with similar TVs from the major manufacturers. Hisense is getting great marks for their TVs and part of the reason why they are much cheaper is because they have a smaller profit margin, not because they are an inferior product. This TV can not compare to an OLED, but it performs very well. I think the black levels are very good. The best I have ever seen that I owned. The colors really pop and they seem very accurate right out of the box and require very little tuning. And any 4K content that is played on this TV looks amazing. I really wasn't sold on 4K and was quite content with HD, but when you get this TV home, wait till you see the detail and the colors. You may get some backlight blooming, but you may also experience that on the other brands too. The Android TV works great. Every now and then, if you are having issues connecting, just power down the TV and the streaming works fine. It has Disney+, HBO Max and all of the latest streaming apps. One issue though is that you cant have a ton of apps downloaded because the internal hard-drive has limited space. This also comes with built in Chromecast. At first, I didn't think this was a big deal since the Android TV has basically every App that you need, but I find myself using this feature a lot. Other friends had to purchase a Chromecast dongle to get Chromecast, but its built in with this TV. My only issue was that the optical out would only output stereo to my Yamaha receiver. Even though the receiver would read 5.1, it was outputting stereo. I did a lot of research on this and this seems to be a known issue that many people have had to deal with who had older receivers that were not ARC compatible. So I needed to purchase an ARC receiver and to be honest, it was a blessing in disguise. Everything sounds so much better and you really can hear the center channel speaker dialogue much better. But ARC on this TV works like a charm once you connect it to an ARC receiver. I never thought it was possible to buy a 75" 4K Smart TV for $699 and get a stunning picture from it, but this TV is the real deal! If you are on the fence, don't hesitate. Just buy it and you wont be disappointed. Just keep your eyes open for sales. The price on this TV changes all of the time. Ive seen it at as low as $599 and as high as $999. Try and catch it on the lower end of the price scale and like me, you will be a pretty happy customer. The picture quality looks amazing.

Didn't even last 2 yrs
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought TV on 11/29/2020, however it just went out on us on 7/27/2022. Not even 2 yrs later. The TV is huge and it was great. However, the issue im experiencing right now is it turns on for a few seconds then turns off on its own. Ive done some research to find a solution and it turned out there were a lot of issues with Hisense TVs. Unfortunately at this point i thibk it needs a motherboard replacement which can cost anywhere between $200-$350 or take it to a TV repair shop. I guess you get what you pay for, as i paid$610 after taxes. But the picture quality & sound were good on this TV.

Screen went dark after warranty period ended.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't expect a long life. This was a great TV for the first year. Great picture and sound. But as soon as the warranty period ended, the screen went dark and will not recover. I really liked it for the first year but I now realize that it's basically a throw-away item. My rating is based on the lifespan of the TV. If you just want something to get you through a championship game then this would work great. Just don't expect it to last much longer. I would give it 5 stars if it lasted a few more years.

So close to a perfect budget set.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is great in many respects, and in one particular aspect it needs a lot of QA. first off, the good. This set has a great picture quality. very good blacks for a VA set and next to 0 backlight bleed. simply amazing at this price point. I even got a notice from my xbox about variable refresh rate, but have not spent time investigating that. the eARC is very good, actually amazing. We have a fiberoptic hdmi 2.0 cable ran 60 ft. these are 1 way devices. somehow we get the return channel and can get all the way up to atmos and dts:x (reported) from the built in apps on the marantz 6013. How??? The remote is nifty and at 10ft, it is amazing how this set looks. 20 hours in and the screen just gets better looking. Now the bad. Android as an embedded OS on a device can create problems if not properly supplied with ram and processor speed. The ram amount supplied is the problem on this set. Its NOT fatal, but it will ruin your day and make you wonder whats up if you dont do the following. also the tv tuner is a bit weak and not atsc 3 ready. 1. Update the OS. There is a major update pending over stock on this set. 2. After the update is done, do another factory reset. 3. do not sign in. do not install anything or agree to anything being installed. 4. Get an addon roku, fire or separate nvidia shield. DO NOT use the builtin app store, do not use this as a platform, only use this as a tv tuner and a display monitor. its simply amazing for that. There is nothing that they can do now software wise to fix the lack of ram integrated. if you install apps, even just a few, it will not manage resources well enough to perform. Moreover, it will hang, crash, and appear to be dead (hardlocked) but can be reset by a power cord unplug and replug. its a shame, had they gone to 3gigs of ram it would have been an amazing device. I do have knowledge of what im saying, ive ran android studio xonnected to this tv and debugged a few apps ive written with it. the system resources just are not there to match modern android developers guidelines production quality of an apk. Its still a GREAT buy at this price!

Outstanding value!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought the 75" version. It is an amazing value! Nothing to complain about at all. Obviously, it does not have the picture quality of OLED but I have no complaints while watching movies or playing video games (PC out - Xbox game pass). Pretty much every app for android store is available. I have never received such value in purchasing an electronics product. It was delivered to our home. Very large package. Try to get it delivered to your home if that option is available. We purchased for less than $650 total. Fantastic! I would have considered paying bit more now that I have had the TV for more than 3 months. So far so good!
