The sale from Best Buy was seamless, however the unit is defective and Best Buy will not service it. The manufacturer is very difficult to communicate with and is not responsive.

Hisense 75” TV hasn’t been working well for the last year - terrible purchase. Keeps freezing and rebooting. Bought in 2018 - 3 years old.

Lip Movement to Sound Lag Too Annoying

First, I already own a 50" Hisense and for the money its pretty good, no complaints. Recently bought this 75 inch and for the money, $1,000, it came with 120mr, blue tooth, HDR, 3 HDMI's and a voice activated remote. I thought the picture was great, sound was the best of any flat screen I have and I own Samsung and Visio. Setting the TV with the remote is a little clumsy but, OK and it works. Now the problem, the Lips to Sound sinc is off on certain channels. Went to Best Buy and bought a new HDMI cable. The guy said try using Netflix or a movie app and if it doesn't do it, it must be the Verizon Fios cable box. Try another box in the house. Got home, tried the new HDMI, no luck. Chatted with Hisense and they had me reboot the TV, no luck. Tonight I took the box in another room that has a brand new Samsung hooked up to is and hooked that one up to the Hisense. No luck. Called Hisense, he had me move the HDMI from port 2 to 1 and checked some settings, no luck. I failed to mention that although I didn't call Verizon, I ran the diagnostics on my boxes with no issues. After talking to the representative, he told me the TV shouldn't be doing this and had to raise my issue to a Level 2. Someone would call me within 48 hours to determine next steps. Next steps would have been to have someone come look at it, maybe fix it or give me another TV. After spending 6 hours trouble shooting, going to Best Buy and being on the phone.....my wife helps me to undo the TV and put it back in the box! It's going back to Best Buy tomorrow before the 15 days is up after they delivered to my house. It's ashame but, I have not had this issue with any TV I have purchased in the past so I didn't want to deal with it anymore!

Like a tv from the 1970s. Bad picture with terrible sound and does not support Prime video. This one had kind of its own and kept turning back on

I REALLY wanted to like this TV. A loaded 75" 4k tv for $1000 is an incredible price. I was coming from a Vizio 70" 4K and admittedly am something of a tv fanatic. While there is alot to like/love about this tv, like very nice picture, great looks, price, warranty, etc, unfortunately the amount of quirks and things not working like they should outweigh the positives for me so I am returning the set. I definitely agree with the other reviewer that IF Hisense were/are able to fix all the issues with an update, the set would be great. First really annoying issue is the unit does not remember the input being used so every day it says "low/no signal" and you have to go back and hit the input even though it is already on that input. Next, the Amazon app is NOT included or part of the apps for this tv! HUH? It supports Amazon Alexa and Google Voice but does not have the Amazon App? 3rd issue is intermittent sound and picture issues like audio being waaay behind the picture and the picture freezing and restarting out of nowhere? Lastly, there is LITERALLY no information available about the specs of the TV and no one, including Hisense ,seems to be able to provide those answers or details....??? The included manual is very generic and gives no details for videophiles such as how many dimming zones there are and what is the brightness rating? I greatly realize I may be asking too much out of a $1000 75" tv, but I have a 65" Hisense tv and we LOVE it and it has NONE of these issues and HAS the Amazon app. Admittedly, I did figure out how to sideload the Amazon app and other workarounds but just kept thinking I shouldn't have to be doing this. In summary, I may live to regret returning the unit as it has the POTENTIAL to be a very nice tv and bargain for the price if all the issues are able to be fixed with updates. If you know and are willing to accept for the price there will be quirks, you may very well have the last laugh.

Unboxed the tv, got it on the wall and that is where the real fun began. Went through the set-up of the TV. The tv and my android phone paired perfectly and my phone works as a remote - great start! Updated the firmware (saw the other reviews where that is a must.) Loaded the Live Channels app to use Android TV that is built-in. At first, the picture froze. Reset the TV to factory default and now the picture works great but NO SOUND! Checked all sound settings, reset the sound 2 times - no luck. So now I have to hook-up my cable box (which I did not want to do. Part of the reason I bought this TV was for the Android TV functionality.) The sound lag from the TV to my sound bar is HORRIBLE. I used the digital optical cable - no luck. Now I am using the headphone jack from the TV to my soundbar. Still HORRIBLE. If you switch inputs and then go back, it works but that is unacceptable. The TV does not allow you to turn off the internal speakers. The picture is good at times but I do notice some motion blur. What concerns me is this blur is not even while watching sporting events! I tired to call Hisense tech support today and got a message that my call could not go through at this time. Reached out on chat and they have "escalated" me to level T2. I asked when I could expect a call and they said in a day or two. That is unacceptable. Unfortunately Best Buy, this one is going in the box and being returned today.

I must admit I was skeptical about buying this TV because at the time of my purchase there were no reviews. But I took a chance on a TV that was half the price of the others and it was worth it! I am a basic gal- the TV is being used in our basement for basic watching of FiOs and the included apps. I understand it doesn't have every app every person would ever want but it has what my family needs and you still can hook it up to a Firestick or Roku to have more options (we have it set up with a Firestick but so far haven't had to use it). I am not a gaming person so can't speak on that. But overall it's a huge tv for a very good price. I also purchased the longest extended warranty plan so for around $1200 total I know I have a TV that will be functional for at least 4-5 years. It's only been about 3 weeks but if I have any change of heart in the future I will update this review

Unacceptably slow response time

The picture is decent for a cheap TV. The sound is about average for the kind of sound these thin TVs. The big negatives are the extremely slow response time. Hisense must be using processors from the 80s. Other negatives: the setup sequence insists on scanning over-air channels, which takes forever and cannot be skipped. Once in the main menu, the navigation makes no sense and of course it takes so long that it isn't usable. Conclusion: this TV is meant to be used in an assisted living facility where the TV is always on, tuned to one channel. .

Tv looked great for the first few months and I was very happy. 3rd month in the whites and blacks started a bad flicker but was manageable. Tv then started to take over a minute to turn on. Now I’m at a year in with the tv and the bottom quarter of the screen randomly flickers the top half. Called in to support and they are absolutely horrible. Emailed them all the information they asked for and they said they would call me back in 1 day. Heard nothing so called back after 4 days and they said they would contact me back tomorrow again. It’s been over two weeks since I’ve been busy with Xmas and still have heard nothing back. Tv is garbage, support is garbage. Stay away from Hisense at all costs!!

This is great for standard HD and for standard 4k. It's terrible for HDR. The built-in impossible to really disable auto dimming (or whatever it's doing) causes the screen to freak out with 4k content. Light, dark, light, dark, light, dark. Fantastic.
Disabled Dynamic Backlight Control? Done that.
Disable Active Contrast? Also done that.
The TV is a budget TV so a flawless experience isn't expected. However, it's billed as an HDR TV, so it should have no issues with HDR content. But it does, so the rating suffers.
The ARC works fine. The CEC works... mostly. I had one issue where the TV wouldn't turn on until I unplugged it and plugged it back in.
Oh, and Hisense does NOT respond to E-Mails. Thank God I bought the protection plan on the TV.
