Hisense has crept up on the larger name brand TVs for a while now, and the QD7 series is another leap forward for them. Don't expect this TV to compete with the higher end Samsungs and Sony TVs, but at this price point, you know exactly what you're going to be compromising on: Deep Black Tones, built in sound, and underpowered smart functions. I understand most TVs these days come from one of the popular ecosystems, and the Amazon Fire platform isn't my favorite. I appreciated that it was included, but ultimately I'll be swapping it for an AppleTV in the future most likely. The built in firetv is laggy and glitchy through searching and in deeper menus, but once streaming does an okay job of passing through 4k video. Colors are nice and bright, and blacks were okay, but not consistent or had that blue hue. Little to no artifacting on action scenes. The built in speakers are as thick as the TV, which is to say there is not much room for "excursion" on the cones. Mounting was very easy due to the lighter weight, and the included stand legs do the job well if needed.
Overall I'm very pleased with this TV and at this price point this is a HUGE value. It's a little amusing that the next size up is almost a 110% jump in cost, so the 75 must be the sweet spot for the time being. I would recommend.

Sound has gone out 3 times since buying the tv and have to unplug it for a couple mins then plug it back in . I shouldn't have to do this with a brand new tv and ofcourse its past the return date so i will have to go through factory warranty to get it fixed or replaced

I have recently picked up Hisense 75" Class QD7 Series Mini-LED QLED TV and wanted to share my experience with it if you are considering to get it.
It is amazing how much times have changed and how affordable TV technology has become to anybody. A decade ago a 75" TV would be running a buyer several thousand dollars and the size would be considered enormous, nowadays 75-77" TVs are a normal size for many families.
This TV has pleasantly surprised me. You can literally pull it out of the box and get it all setup by yourself without the need of another person. The TV is so light and manageable and I got it going within minutes.
So this Hisense Mini-LED QLED TV packs the latest tech you need to get all your entertainment in.
The TV runs Fire TV interface which puts your favorite apps front and center, and as usual you get all the apps you would usually use to stream your content. I noticed you also get updates for the apps pretty frequently so, that is a good thing.
If you are used to Alexa, the 75" Hisense TV has built-in Alexa and you can pretty much control content, check scores, and manage smart home devices with voice commands.
Now as far as your viewing and cinematic experience, I really found this TV to perform well. Here are a few good highlights this TV has:
1. Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos - these are important features of every TV and bring theater-quality visuals and immersive sound to your living room.
2. I find that its AI 4K Upscaler enhances lower-resolution content to near-4K quality and it is perfect for streaming older shows or live sports. You may be surprised when streaming any 80-90s movies, the TV handles upscaling pretty well.
3. I would definitely recommend trying its Filmmaker Mode. When watching movies or playing Blu-rays, I noticed how well this mode preserves the original aspect ratios and color grading for an authentic viewing experience.
I also found that the picture quality is really good thanks to the MiniLED and QLED tech. As some of you may know the Mini-LED backlighting with Full Array Local Dimming delivers deeper blacks and brighter highlights, enhancing contrast and even realism. If it was not for Full Array tech, this TV would not be that good in my opinion. Here are the actual features that differentiate this TV from any others who simply offer LED LCD displays. These features were well integrated within this series:
1.Well know to most TV lovers - QLED Quantum Dot technology, it produces over a billion vivid colors, making scenes pop with lifelike detail. Mind you, do not confuse QLED with O-LED (OLED).
2. This Hisense TV offers up to 600 nits peak brightness which ensures clarity even in bright rooms. The more nits the brighter your TV will be displaying your content.
So all in all, this is definitely a must have TV for any family, as it is absolutely affordable and can compete with other brands in PQ and other areas. We love it and hope it will keep getting updates and be improved as years go by.

Out of the box this tv was definitely well packed. After getting all the plastic and wrapping off, we laid it flat on our ottoman to get the tv wall mount installed. We had a universal mount already since this 75” Hisense was replacing our older 82” Samsung UHD tv. When mounting the hardware, the screws that came with this Hisense tv were way too short to work. Luckily, my husband has an arsenal of bolts, screws, washers etc and we got it to work! We plugged it in, hooked to WiFi let it get through the updates and we had a working tv in about 15 minutes.
I was excited to get this tv mainly for the FireTv option and of course being a Mini LED QLED. The picture quality is fantastic. I truly believe this tv was so much clearer, crisper and brighter than our 82” Samsung UHD. We hooked it up to our Sonos surround via the Optical audio cable and it worked flawlessly! The sound was great! When we switched over to YouTube, we noticed an echo. I realized I hadn’t turned off the actual tv speakers. So navigating to the settings, I find the sound menu, turn off speakers, problem solved! The echo was gone but the we had another issue. Our remote no longer worked to control the volume for the Sonos surround. We received an error message stating our controller wasn’t setup to work with that unit. After a few google searches, I unplugged the optical audio cable, plugged my Sonos into the HDMI arc port with the hdmi cable coming from the Sonos Beam…BINGO!! I have volume that works for the surround system and the speakers on the tv are off solving all the echo issues.
Xbox on this tv is nothing short of AMAZING video / picture quality. I feel there was a substantial increase in clarity when playing Call Of Duty on this tv than on my previous Samsung. The refresh rate is perfect. There has been zero lag time. For the price tag, I feel like you truly can’t go wrong. So far, this Hisense FireTv has met all expectations. 100% recommend.

Big and Bright Screen

The Hisense QD7 QLED is a nice picture that will make watching live sports or streaming shows a nice experience. The QD7 has an excellent big screen, at 4k/144hz HDR10 image you'll get brightness, colorful picture, and fast images that look great even in well lit rooms. It made watching nature docs or movies with lots of effects really vibrant. My absolute favorite aspect about the QD7 is the image processing and hdmi ports. The TV comes with HDMI 2.1 with bandwidths of 4k/144Hz - 1080p/240Hz. This is beyond excellent for console gaming, which averages 4K/30Hz, but really shines for PC gaming which can reach higher bandwiths and picture outputs. However, there were two issues I have with the QD7 and why its getting the number of stars it is. While I compliment the Brightness and Colorful picture, this comes at a cost to Contrast and Black levels. Even at the best adjustments, blacks had noticeable greyscaling that really stuck out to me, especially when compared to my LG OLED. My other complaint is the decision to use Amazon/Fire for the UI. I do not like how much this UI tries to force product or advertisements and how it wants you to sync all your streaming services into Prime. Its also got the same issues that Android/Google TV UI has and that it eats up processing power so it always feels slower when switching apps or turning on the TV. Would really like to see Hisense make their own UI like Sony or LG do for their TVs. Overall, the TV is a solid choice for casual viewers and for a PC gamer wanting a huge screen.

Great TV with a great price. Being a previous Hisense TV owner, we were looking for a more up to date tv. So we chose to pick up this QD7 in 75" for our bedroom. Which is where I also do most of my gaming. This TV has yet to dissapoint. The Mini LED display gives a nice crisp clear picture. The refresh rate is impressively fast for such a large display, so gaming isnt an issue. The ability to download streaming apps to the home page is great due to how many different services we use. The speakers are impresively loud and have a great range in sound unlike most Tvs. Having such volume and sound quality makes this TV great for large areas. The QD7 has 4 HDMI ports located on the back along with an optical audio connection and several others, its got you covered. One thing I like the most is the fast and smooth operating system, switching from app to app is almost seamless. Auto light sensing makes for great viewing in any light conditions. So if youre looking for a great TV thats affordable. Check out the QD7 definetly a great TV

Looking to upgrade you television to a bigger screen size but don't want to spend a small down payment on a car? Then the Hisense - 75" Class QD7 Series MiniLED QLED 4K UHD HDR Smart Fire TV should be the choice for you!
With upgrades in technology, television quality has come a long way and you can now get a larger screen real estate with decent performance without having to pay big dollars compared to the other manufacturers.
The Hisense - 75" Class QD7 Series MiniLED QLED 4K UHD HDR Smart Fire TV has includes a native 144Hz panel with motion rate 480 and a game mode with AMD FreeSync, MiniLED up to 600 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, HDR and is a Amazon Fire TV. There is also two HDMI 2.1 inputs, two HDMI 2.0, LAN & optical digital inputs as well.
This is not my first Hisense brand television so in terms of quality and expectations I was not surprised that this unit would perform as expected. You do get a lot of bang for your buck here. For my living room 75 inches is huge and considering the price its a win-win situation.
Colors are bright and vibrant on the MiniLED panel. The user interface is fast and doesn't lag. It's a Fire TV so connecting it with your Amazon account lets you seamlessly access your streaming platforms.
Overall great TV for a low price without having to sacrifice much in terms of quality & money.
