Open Box, tv was untested and completely destroyed. Took me three hours to pick it up and get it home, ordered online and they brought it out to me destroyed. Please only buy open box if you have the store test it for you in front of you.

Hisense Great budget level 4K 75" TV

Hisense - 75" Class QD7 Series QLED 4K UHD Google TV Model:75QD7N
Hisense is known for being at the top of the game in large-screen budget TVs, and this 75-inch QD7 series 4k QLED TV is hard to beat. Quantum Dot Color, 4K AI Upscaler and Dolby Vision / Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, HDR 10, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) format bring impressive performance to this set. You also get the convenience of Voice remote and hands-free voice control along with the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. You can also use Google assistant with the screen turned off if you choose (There is also a switch to turn off the microphone as well as internal settings). It has full ethernet, WiFi (2.4GHz & 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.3 communication. The bezel-less design shows off the large screen without taking up a lot of additional territory. It has a full array of connectors including antenna cable coax port, two USB 3 ports, digital audio optical out, a composite video input, two HDMI 2.0 ports and, two HDMI 2.1 ports, one being an eARC port and a headphone jack. There is a built-in ATSC tuner. Under the screen in the center is a power button (which also deals with input switching), LED status lights, and built in pin hole microphone and switch to turn it on or off.
The QD7 is packed well and I have included a couple of pictures. It also includes of a couple of handles in the box. But one downside is that this is a large unit and weighs in at almost 51 lbs. It is also thicker than I expected at 3.4 inches. I was expecting something comparable to my OLED TV, which is far lighter and thinner.
The TV has the ability to wall mount it with VESA wall mounts 400mmx300mm, or you can use the included inverted V shaped legs which can be mounted near the edges or closer to the center, allowing for flexibility to accommodate your entertainment stand. The remote is simple and functional with self-explanatory symbols as well as a pin hole microphone. It has a large, white, circular navigation pad near the top with Google Assistant, Settings button, Switch Profile ( or Accounts & sign in) input, power, settings, Home, Menu, Return (to previous place or app) volume, channel, mute buttons, a live TV button, and enter Channel numbers button, . It has dedicated buttons for NETFLIX Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, Tubi, and an Apps button.
Hands free Google Assistant (Google TV) is the smart TV platform. It covers all major streaming services and thousands of apps and services available and you can stream from your Android phone or tablet, Chrome device, iPad, iPhone, or Mac thanks to support for both Google Cast and Apple AirPlay 2. There is a browser feature and local channels as part of the Google package. Google assistant can even be setup to be used in screenless mode. Alexa is also available. The remote has a fast response time and is seamless when talking to the TV. The Google TV is extremely easy to setup.
I hooked up a Set top box, a PS5, a 4K video surveillance system and a Windows laptop computer hooked to the TV. All of these work flawlessly. The PS5 had no smearing or screen tearing or artifacting and I have it to automatically go into Game Mode Pro. This also works well with the PC. With a Variable Refresh Rate of 48Hz to 144Hz, your console and PC gaming can beat any opponent that comes your way. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Auto Low Latency Mode and Low Latency MEMC, virtually eliminate annoyances like screen tearing and controller input lag in your play. The New Game Bar lets you customize and adjust your gameplay right from your TV with your remote. I could not notice any difference in Google TV and the Set Top box performance. The Chipset and RAM on the TV is impressive with no lag, streaming delays or menu delays or delays for switching apps.
The QD7 has great color reproduction with bright but realistic colors, good whites and deep contrasts. Base signals 2K, 4k AI Upscaler and 4K input showed up beautifully and the blacks are a comfortable dark grey – you would have to go to an OLED type of TV at much higher cost to get true blacks. I had no flash lighting or edge/corner bleeds. 4K movies were outstanding and the in the TV sound system though rated at 30 watts was a bit week and I feel it is a disservice if you don’t hook up and use a surround sound sound-bar with sub-woofer or a full AV sound system. With an external sound setup you have a great home theater in your room. The eARC setup allowed the controller to control my AV system and the video inputs without having to go to another remote control. I am also using Dolby digital and DTS though the optical port. Most of the surround sound bars and AV systems take advantage of this technology.
I did find that a lot of the auto features of detecting and setting up sound and picture on the fly was not reliable and even had the unit switch the aspect ratio of my set top box to a 4x3 ratio all of a sudden. Though it had been working fine for several days. Other than the game mode I turned off the auto features and manually set up things to my liking.
I would say you can’t go wrong with choosing this budget-friendly 4k large QLED TV. This is a great unit with exceptional picture at an excellent value and makes for the top of my list for large screen 4k budget TVs.

Unacceptale backlight issues

First experience with a Hisense TV. Paid extra for a ‘full array’ backlight and qled. The light bleed from all corners snd bottom of the TV makes it hard to watch. It just ruins the movie experience. I have cheaper tvs that are better to watch. No matter how ‘good’ the picture is, if you cant stand to watch it because of the light bleeding everywhere it doesn’t matter. Can’t wait until i can justify paying to replace it.

Great TV for the Value

The Hisense QD7 Smart Google TV is quite a good TV for the value.
It is easy to set up. I would recommend, if you have not done so previously, to create a Google account and download the Google Home app ahead of time. You will need both to have the smoothest set up of the TV, even if you are not using the Google Home ecosystem.
If you do not want to use the Google TV, you do have several other connections that you can use with other peripherals. You also have the option to set up Alexa to use with the TV. Amazon Prime Video is one of the pre-loaded apps.
Unfortunately, my cable provider, Spectrum, does not have an app on Google TV, so I have a Roku Ultra hooked up on HDMI 1 so that I can access their app. Otherwise, Google would have all that I would need.
One suggestion I’d like to offer Hisense is that they really should look into having an app for their remote. My Samsung soundbar can be controlled by my phone; so can my Roku. My TV should have that functionality, too.
I tried looking up a manual on the Hisense web site and could not find my exact model. It does come with a quick setup guide in the box.
For picture quality, I have no complaints. It’s bright, colorful, and it is what I would expect from a 4K TV. I have attached a couple of photos from the store mode that is active when you first turn on the TV to try and illustrate how bright and crisp the colors are. You also have many options on how to fine tune the audio and visual settings to your liking.
My Roku is capable of broadcasting in 4K, but not all programming is available in 4K. I have a screenshot of what the TV reads on the signal from HDMI 1 below.
I tried testing the Gaming function with our Xbox Series S console. The Marvel Avengers game I tested had sharp graphics. There was no discernable lag in game play. I have attached a photo of the resolution here as well.
I feel that the Hisense QD7 is a great investment. Picture is sharp. Gameplay is crisp. Audio is great. It has nearly all the features you want in a TV without the more expensive price tag.

Excellent 75” TV After One Month of Use

I’ve been using this 75-inch TV from Best Buy for over a month, and I’m very satisfied with the overall experience.
Picture & Sound: The picture remains consistently sharp and vibrant, and the sound quality is impressive — it truly enhances movies, sports, and everyday viewing.
Connectivity: Pairing the TV with my Bose speakers continues to be effortless and reliable. The only ongoing issue is with my PS5: I still need to unplug and reattach the HDMI cable each time I want to use it. All my other devices connect without any problems, so I hope a future update or a different HDMI cable might resolve this.
Shopping & Delivery: Best Buy offered the best deal I could find at the time. Given the sheer size of the TV, transporting it yourself would be challenging — after my experience trying (it wouldn’t fit in my Tesla model Y or Honda Pilot), I recommend using Best Buy’s free home delivery service. They made the whole process easy and stress-free.
Overall: After a month of regular use, I can confidently say this TV delivers excellent picture and sound quality for its price. Aside from the minor PS5 HDMI inconvenience, it’s a great addition to my home. Just make sure you plan ahead for delivery due to its size!

A 75” Beast That Overdelivers!

I was not expecting to be this impressed. This 2024 Hisense QD7 Series is hands-down the best value 75” QLED TV on the market right now. The picture quality? Stunning. Deep blacks, vibrant colors, and Dolby Vision makes every movie night feel like a theater experience.
As a gamer, I was blown away by the 120Hz refresh rate, VRR, and ultra-low input lag. Paired with my PS5, it’s buttery smooth with zero stutter or screen tearing.
Setup was a breeze. Google TV runs fast, voice search is actually accurate, and I had all my streaming apps running in 10 minutes. The remote is well-designed and responsive, and I love the dedicated app buttons.
The sound? Surprisingly strong. Dolby Atmos gives it depth, and I didn’t need to rush out and buy a soundbar right away.
It looks sleek, premium, and way more expensive than it is. Everyone who’s seen it has asked, “How much was THAT?” and they don’t believe me when I tell them.
If you’re hesitating—don’t. This is a hidden gem that punches way above its price.
Also… Best Buy, if you’re still doing the $400 gift card… I humbly accept your thank-you in advance

Tv has been great so far. The chip inside is a little weak and the bitrate is defintely lower as opposed to using hulu on my xbox series x. Otherwise the tv is a great value for the size. The 144hz mode does indeed work and well at that!
