    This TV turned from an exciting value to frustating e-waste within days. The Good: The panel itself is actually really crisp and clear, with the full array local dimming offering for some crazy contrast. The MiniLED QLED can produce some impressive near inky blacks while maintainging minimal blooming even on a black screen with a blinding white logo. The Bad: using it is fine 50% of the time and you can forget that it has issues. Until it just turns off while you’re using it, changes inputs, persistantly flashes UI messages, and switches to the god awful built in speakers. Then it's really frustrating. Also the VESA mounts allow an uncomfortable amount of flex and sag, a poor build quility theme that is continued throughout the entire TV. Do not give this TV CEC, it will change inputs, turn on and off seemingly randomly. Audio won't say connected to a single output and reguraly tries to change to the terrible tv speakers. Oh and once you disable CEC it will turn it back on for you multiple times, I've never had to fight with a TV for keeping settings like this before. Even when it stayed off, it only reduced erronious startups and input switching, nothing helped the amount of times it would shut off completely or switch to the TV speakers. Hisense TVs also seem to have an issue with having an Apple TV connected while using another input. Doesn't matter if the Apple TV is one of off, it will display in the top right corner HDMI 1 Connected every few minutes for the entire time you’re not using HDMI 1. Knowing the reputation Hisesne has for lack of quality control for their processors, I thought maybe it would be worth it still to essentially use it as a monitor with a brand new 4k Apple TV and XBOX Series X. It isn't. If you think this could possibly be user error; know that my Sony, Samsung, TCL, and LG TVs ranging from budget to ultra premium flagship OLED don't behave this way in the slightest. If it wasn't for Best Buy's extended holiday return window, it would have fooled me just long enough to be stuck with it. If you've read this whole review and still think this TV is for you then my only recommdation is to; never connect it to wifi, give it 0 permissions and use an external device such as a home theatre receiver with multiple HDMI inputs to handle input switching and audio before it ever gets to the TV. Maybe then you can truly enjoy the objectively great panel without the frustration of the rest of the TV.

    Excellent tv! Bought this during the Labor Day sales, for a price point of $700 a tv this size feels like a steal. My favorite part is the remote, it lights up when you pick it up and makes navigation easy. Big fan of the google tv platform, also purchased the U7 for my gaming room, both excellent TVs.

    I have had this TV for a week so far and sll i can say is WOW The picture settings are pretty much infinite and the movies selection through the apps are more than infinite, there's something for everyone! I do recommend using a home theater system, the speakers are not that great.

    The picture is good. Sound is OK. The TV froze up once so far, I have had it for a week let’s hope this is not gonna happen again. I still have the box. Luckily I have extended return policy because of my total tech-support membership if something like that happens again and again within that 60 days, I am returning it!
