|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Want to start off with a huge Thank You to Best Buy and David at Hisense for assisting me to make this TV perfect for me. Above and beyond. Now to tell you how nice this Mini LED TV is. Its a HUGE Screen and a bit heavy and looks great on my wall where I feed it content from Xfinity, PS5 and 4K content from my PC. The whole thing can be easily set up with an android phone (possibly Apple too, don't have.) I definitely like how Google TV has improved over Android TV. Lot more free channels arranged in a guide format mixed in to the array of apps for streaming. While this TV may not be the fastest panel (60hz.) I think it fits the bill for inky blacks and bright vivid colors for the rest of Joe/Jane public who needs or wants a large TV at an affordable price from a brand that has increasingly won me over. I should disclose this is my second Hisense 4K TV. For cable TV over HDMI it looks great and speakers sound good enough for a flat panel TV. I did plug my soundbar in after initial setup because its just better for how I like my audio. Overall I bet most will be blown away with video quality. It is not quite OLED depth, but once its on your wall and you are into the program or movie, YOU WON'T CARE, it looks close enough to me. Its a great image and think of how much money you saved. I am not into sports programming. But I did use the TV to check some fast action in movies through the cable box and I don't see any trailing. I did turn off the motion smoothing to eliminate the soap opera effect. And customized the Standard Video Profile to my liking. There are plenty of video profiles to choose if you prefer not to mess with settings too much. As for gaming. My PS5 looks great. Granted I can't turn the PS5 to full video setting. You will get more than enough video horsepower to enjoy playing Call of Duty, Battlefield 2042 or even old school Minecraft. They even include a Gaming Mode to show 4 basic stats like refresh rate and whether your HDR is on or not. And finally, this TV is also my monitor for my late model laptop that I use to do work while in my living room. Massive screen and easily see all the content for editing pictures or video and everything is very easy to see. I don't PC game on it, and this TV at 60hz probably would not like it much anyhow. I do use the TV and PC as my favorite method for movie streaming where I can get Dolby audio and video content. I have NO COMPLAINTs for video quality. Movies look much better. Its crisp, no light bleed on the edges and colors pop far more than even on my main S**y TV that I got at Best Buy several years ago. Overall Its a near excellent TV for the price and what I needed/wanted it for. Yes, It would be nice if it was a faster panel. For the budget price and the massive 75" screen. Its a great option. Just be ready to get a new TV bracket and a friend/spouse to help mount this very heavy TV. Even if you choose to use the feet. Which BTW can be mounted at the edges or closer to middle. That is an excellent option to have, 2 spacing options for the feet or bolt it too the wall like I did. You should be happy with the Mini LED U6K like I am. One last thing, the remote. It can stand upright on the coffee table. My friend thought that was a bonus and should be mentioned.

Fantastic picture and feature packed TV
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Hisense UK6 Series is what a TV should be! It sports a beautiful picture and is loaded with features. The mini-LED technology is something I had never experienced before, and it truly does present a more realistic picture whether you are watching fast-moving sports or a 4K movie. The brightness is unparalleled and with Hisense adding over 1000 dimming zones, the contrast is amazing. Once I got the TV unboxed and mounted, I was presented with on-screen directions to scan a QR code for easy setup. Although Google Home had a slight hiccup in connecting to my wifi network, once I got past that, setup was a breeze. You will need to allot about a half hour or so for the process as downloading all of the apps and doing the ubiquitous system update does take some time. After all of that is done, the quantum dot technology and Dolby Vision IQ ensure you get the absolute best picture quality available. With most new TV’s, I go through and manually adjust all of the settings to tweak the picture to suit my preferences. Not so with this one. It looked nearly perfect using the factory settings. I can’t speak to the internal speakers as I use a soundbar, but the audio quality there is spot on as well. The upgraded voice remote is much netter than previous Hisense versions and it easily pairs to make sure you aren’t inadvertently controlling another device somewhere else in your home (which has been a problem for me in the past). The 75” version is a bit of a hefty beast so be sure your mount is up to the task and that you have a friend or family member to help lift it safely! I have been a Hisense fan since getting one a couple of years ago, but the UK6 is leaps and bounds ahead of any other TV in my home. The brightness, color saturation, smoothness, and overall build quality are simply amazing. Get one. You won’t regret it!

Hadn't used it in a few days turned it on and the screen refused to turn on. Tried every trick to fix it and listened to Hisense support for help, but no dice. Hisense refused a refund or replacement, only repair. BestBuy helped though! 10/10 for BestBuy, their customer service is great.

Very solid TV out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very solid tv for the price when its on sale. Good picture out of the box, needing some tweaking if you want that perfect picture. Obviously turned off all motion smoothing as I normally do with a new TV. The OS feels nice but I think the tv's older processor can get a little laggy when it first boots up. Overall - its a very very solid tv with great white and decent darks. If you don't want to splurge for the U7K or higher this is definitely a good fit.

Great TV. Great price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding picture quality, especially when considering price. Great contrast and color depth, and super bright even in a sun lit room. Very intuitive interface. I was initially unsure about the Hisense brand as normally go for a Samsung or a Sony, but so far I am very pleased with the purchase.

Great Upgrade with Excellent Sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the box is the television, power cord, remote, instruction manual (to include the size of mounting screws and frame to buy), warranty manual and the feet to stand the tv (if you are not mounting the TV to the wall). First impression, this is my third HiSense upgraded TV in my home and I am always impressed by how much the TVs get better with time. I am replacing my TV in my theater room and I was able to use the same mount but I had to get new screws. I am so grateful that the screw sizes were in the instructional manual and I was able to head over to the hardware store and pick them up to finish the mounting. Because of the new bezel (compared to my old not Hisense TV) I get way more screen now, so this upgrade was definitely needed. Setup - Setup was of course super easy. It allows you to add to your Google Home and there is a QR code that didn’t work (so I picked the option to manually set it up) and then it gives you the option to add your google sign on and it downloads everything that is already set up on my other Hisense TVs. One of the other features that I love is being able to set up individual profiles for everyone in the house. My daughter watches kids during the day and she is an avid fan of YouTube, so I enjoy signing in and picking up where I left off on my shows and not have to weed through all of the other things that she watches. Also, I have another type of TV equipment in my bedroom and I am still able to continue non-android types of play equipment as well. I would like to note that with the individual profiles, it will load from another tv but it does not sign in on the apps, you still have to sign in to each app that downloads. Remote - I am already familiar with this remote because it’s the same one that came with my last Hisense upgrade. It can stand up on its own and there are less buttons, which is awesome because now you won’t humongous remote. The buttons on the bottom take you immediately to the app but I don’t use these because I generally press on the show that I am finishing or I press on the show that google knows I watch at that time of the day. Another thing that I appreciate is some of the remote buttons being white. At night, when you are watching tv in the dark and you want to switch between apps or press ok when the app asks you if you are still watching, the google assist, the arrows around okay, the home button and the app buttons are all white. Visuals and Sound - The visuals, I already knew it would be great but the sound is even better on this model. I started off with and action movie and turned it up to 25 and it sounded much louder than any of my other TVs. Which is awesome because when I play musicals on here, I will be able to hear the great sounds. (Don’t forget if you mount the TV, there is a wall mount button to turn on in the settings under sound.) Honestly, I noticed a slight difference but it sounded pretty good with the button on and off. There is also another option you can chose in the advanced settings of the sound setting and it basically makes every channel the same volume. I love this feature because I definitely notice a difference in volume with ads at night, and this button helps to keep the volume the same. Overall, I am happy that I was able to upgrade and with the small bezel, I get even more screen now to watch my shows and now, unless I want to be completely submerged in sound (complete Dolby atmos), I can leave the surround sound off. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family!!!!!!

Awesome smart tv
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv came packaged well, usual tv packaging. No damage to the tv. It was a tad heavy and due to its size I would recommend a two man carry. It's really large and has a slim profile. Bezel is small. The tv works well with our cable provider, and has several hdmi inputs one of them being ARC. We’ve mounted it on the wall and it looks great. The TV remote is small and has the google assistant button along with a netflix, prime video, youtube, disney+, tubi, and peacock button to launch directly into the apps. The remote shape is heavy on the bottom and slim on the top. I wish the weight was evenly distributed. It feels a tad awkward in the hand. It may not bother everyone but it annoys me a bit. The google assistant button made it easier to search the app store for the other apps i wanted downloaded. The home screen is the regular google home interface, the navigation is snappy and responds to remote inputs quickly, and makes a pop sound as you press inputs on the screen. Setting up the wifi and signing into the google account was quick and easy. Signing into all of the apps was easy enough except for the disney app. Most of the commonly used apps were listed on the apps section to sign into. Using the disney app to sign in, the tv did pop up in the app and gave the option to allow, however the tv never registered the input, i just used the sign in with user name and password on the tv. The speakers can get loud, standard speakers sound a little hollow, and a little tin sounding. The speakers do not have a full rich sound. I would suggest a sound bar to get that fuller sound but, for regular viewing they work just fine for everyday use. The out of the box picture quality isn't bad, the blacks are rich and not too dark, the colors are warm but I would suggest maybe picking a picture mode that works for you. I currently have it on dolby vision iq and it seems to work ok for an all around setting for tv, movie and gaming, but has a dark, game or custom mode. I left the contrast and what not on the out of the box settings. I’m happy with the out of the box color tones. I have been really happy with the tv thus far, the colors make it easy to see dark scenes and everything looks crisp and sharp. It’s super easy to navigate and switch inputs, and the app store with the google assistant make it easy to find what im looking for.

Glitchy- Bad processing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Many of the pro reviewers love this TV but they are mostly running high quality content when testing(not cable TV) Recently returned this TV for a few reasons. The picture was very nice and bright with high quality content like 4k videos on you tube. But the TV really struggled with our cable(Xfinity) and some streaming content on Netflix, Disny+ etc. The processing is not good. Was getting pixelation, weird colors and just an overall poor picture on many HD channels. Certain movies and shows worse than others. Thought it was the cable but other TV’s in house were fine including a 13 year old Samsung plasma and a cheap Sharp TV. Changing settings did not help. Also their were many times the picture would need to be reset or TV unplugged cause many settings were greyed out for no reason. The TV would also randomly turn on by itself even with CEC function shut off. Woke up many mornings with TV on. That was it for me. I traded it for a Sony A80L. This Sony is an OLED not a QLED so its definitely not as bright but the picture, processing and upscaling is light years better. Sony is known for best processing. It also cost twice the price but worth it as the TV works properly! Best buy rep at store said he had a couple of TCL’s returned fro same issue with Xfinity cable. Maybe they use same processor?
