We finally decided to update some of our electronics, as we were still using a houseful of obsolete (NOT-smart) small Vizio and other brand television sets. They had served us satisfactorally over the years but when visiting with friends and relatives who all had converted to Smart TV's, we kind of felt left-behind in the tech arena. Then, when our internet/television provider notified us that they were upgrading their television service to something called 'streaming', we kind of panicked and had to educate ourselves on steps we needed to take to be able to continue accessing the tv programs we had been enjoying over the past years. When the provider did cut over to the streaming service, we were able to use the old tv's using adapters. However, it wasn't long -with the plethera of new and interesting programs which became available to us - before we realized we could make our viewing so much more enjoyable if we upgraded our equipment. One trip to Best Buy to puruse over the large selection of TV's now available to us, we pulled the trigger and bought a couple right away. We were happily shocked to see that the prices of these beautiful, large TV's actually is now less expensive than the old outdated models we had been viewing over the past few years. We ended up buying two beautiful, huge (to us), flat-screened tv's and just hooked them up a couple weeks ago. We are so impressed with the picture quality, the sound, and simplicity of it all thanks to working with your Best Buy pro's. They are always there to assist when we have questions. Thank you, Best Buy - and your excellent employees - for guiding us and helping us select new TV's that would meet our needs and make TV watching so much more fun. We will never have to say, "There's nothing on TV tonight" ever again.

I am used to a LG CX OLED TV I bought 2-3 years ago for over 2K. I thought when I bought this I wouldn't like the picture as well as the LG, but boy was I wrong! Beautiful, gorgeous picture! Rich, deep colors, the black levels look like OLED black to me. Absolutely exceeded expectations many times over! WOW! I honestly like the picture better than the LG OLED that cost me over 3 times as much.

    Good enough

Good enough. One thing to think about when you buy any TV is whether what you have at home (cable TV, streaming service) is going to provide a quality image that your TV can show. Otherwise, you are wasting money if you have Netflix in 720p/1080 service but have a UHD 4K/8K TV. Also, if the stream (coaxial cable company service, ethernet, wifi) has a flow frame rate the having 240hz vs 120hz vs 60hz (PC monitor standard) makes no difference. The first thing that happened when I set this TV up and opened the Netflix app was that Netflix asked if I wanted to upgrade service to UHD streaming for an extra $7.50/month. Nope! My old TV was 8 years old (RCA 65" - no smart features). So anything was better than what I had before. You have to go through the settings to get all the tweaks as your image out of the box will not look anything like in the store (which is probably streaming from a UHD blu-ray player). I work 5 days a week with a 3 hr round-trip commute. I really don't have a lot of time to watch TV except on weekends, and still have stuff on weekends to do. So spending over a grand on a TV that I will only watch once in a while is not for me. I don't play games on my TV so I could care less about gaming specs (I have PC monitors for that). Ultimately, the picture quality is great for me, the instructional booklet sucks, the more ports the better (more varied - no component ports), figuring out TV setup (finding Bluetooth feature, picture setup, etc.) is not very intuitive, bang for the buck is good, more than bright enough screen. Durability? Only time will tell. Based on other reviews durability is a 70/30 coin flip.

Love, love, love this TV. Hands down the best purchase I've made. It's crisp, clear, has LOADS of settings and functionality and the Google voice assist is awesome. Don't sleep on this TV. I hadn't known much about Hisense prior to purchasing this, now 3 out of 4 of my TV's have been replaced with these. Also - the sound quality on most flat screens is terrible. That is NOT the case with these. It sounds great! So much that I moved my soundbar across the room for surround sound.

Disappointed even for a budget TV - defective?

I genuinely wanted to like this TV. The design looks great, and the price was lovely. Once I turned the TV on is when the issues became apparent. The main reason that we got the TV is because we wanted to add a little more size from our 70" LG, and after about 4 years, the LG stopped connecting to the internet. Overall picture quality remained lovely. This was my first Hisense, and despite it suggesting that it has tons of adaptability to the environment, no factory or custom settings could get rid of contrast bleed and lagging motion issues. Watching sports and animated shows on it is nearly impossible if you're used to better quality. The interface/ processing is also horrific even related to the LG platform, which I was also not a fan of. The only benefit this had was that the google platform at least offers more apps. That said, the casting is incredibly unreliable, the apps are wildly slow moving to load, and the remote-to-tv processing is hilariously bad. We even updated our internet and put in new batteries to make sure we weren't missing something obvious that would explain why this TV was acting this way. I have nothing against Hisense or anyone this TV works great for - it could even be that we have a defective model, but I doubt that Hisense would replace based on the info provided after a year of trying to just hope we would get used to it. We are likely back in the market for a new TV. As of right now, if you're looking for a good budget TV, TCL would be my recommendation. Our TCLs have lasted years with decent to good quality.

This set won best budget model for 2023 on Rtings.com. Look up the model number for a more thorough analysis than I’m capable of. Don’t bother with a more expensive model from Samsung with less features and poorer picture quality. Hisense may not be a household name, but they are up and comers. Don’t sleep on them.

My mini-LED U6 has a brightless of 600. I'm told that the mini-LED is the latest technology and outperforms the LED edgelit or direct lit LED displays. My TV is not normally viewed in a very bright room. Therefore, my set provides an excellent picture that is superior to the 3-5 year sets in my home.

There is nothing to not like about a tv that has mini led technolgy at this price.I bought this tv because of the mini led technology and because it was advertised as a tv with good black levels with good picture quality. It has met all of my expectation and more!

Tv has amazing picture resolution and the color quality is so vibrant and really stands out from other tvs in similar price range. I opted in for a 75 inch Q LED rather than getting a normal Samsung or LG 85 inch and I couldn't be happier. Quality over quantity!

Picture on this TV is excellent, just as good if not better than the Samsung TV it replaced. I was initially worried that quality/features would not be that good due to the low cost. I was wrong! The TV was super easy to setup and the Android OS works perfectly! It is convenient to have Google TV as native app. All my online streaming services were easily setup through the user friendly and intuitive interface. The audio was very good and crystal clear. I have not turned it up past 30 as this is plenty loud with no distortion. The remote works flawlessly and is just the right size. The smart features are great and integrates with Alexa or Siri. Apps can be installed directly from the Play Store. There is a TV remote app available and is nice to have when remote is out of reach. Will definitely buy more Hisense products in the future!

Beautiful picture. Colors are amazing. Blacks look good. The only complaint is the speakers. They are pretty terrible. I added a sound bar pretty quickly to take care of that. It also helped they gave me nba24 for the ps5 as incentive. Icing on the cake. So far so good as a first time Hisense buyer.

This TV pretty decent. The interface is fairly responsive and stable. Picture quality is pretty good. I did have a couple issues, though. I wasn't too hip on how darker scenes looked sometimes. They were often too dark and I had to change the display settings just to see what was going on in the scene. Nother issue on this model is that they aren't compatible with Google Kids accounts, so even though the menu option is there to create a Kids account, you can go through the entire process but it will just error out at the end. It'd be better if they just hid that option entirely if the TV can't make use of it.
