I really wish this TV worked out it has all the bells and whistles were all looking for...I have returned this TV 3 times now and I have the same problem with every unit...The Blooming/Halo effect in the corners of the TV is horrible even with the local dimming set to high... The picture during the day looks good but at night the blooming in the conners is a huge distraction. Also, the juddering is really bad leaving a ghosting effect on the picture/Image especially if you're going to be using a cable box to watch basic HD tv channels. I will be now going with the Sony - 75" Class BRAVIA XR X90J Series LED 4K UHD Smart Google TV

I previously bought a 65" Hisense TV and was really pleased with its overall quality, so I didn't hesitate when selecting this one as an upgrade for our living room. I absolutely love it! This TV delivers fantastic picture and sound quality for such a great price. Despite being so big, it was super easy to mount above our fireplace, and our soundbar was easy to install. I will say the sound with just the TV surprised me. It's honestly almost as good as with a soundbar or sound system. We were able to move away from using a Roku and set up all our streaming channels within the TV platform. The interface for downloading and adding applications is really easy and a seamless process. So far we've watched Netflix, Hulu, Youtube TV and Paramount + and the picture quality is flawless across channels. I also love that I'm able to integrate the TV to my Google Home app and control it using voice commands. I've seen some reviews that say this TV is great for gaming and as far as that goes, I have to agree. I primarily play the Switch and I love the picture quality so far when playing Animal Crossing and Mario Party. I feel like I'm more immersed in the game too with just the size of the TV. My husband is waiting for his new Xbox to come and he's very excited to play Halo on it. All in all, I think I'll stick with Hisense brand TV's for the foreseeable future. They pack a lot of great features for such an affordable price.

Bottom Line: The Hisense U7G is great for large-screen gaming and full-screen viewing of HDR content. Pros: easy to use; HDR10/Dolby Vision content looks great; excellent features for next-gen gaming Cons: noticeable backlight bloom when viewing letterbox content in the dark; just adequate sound from built-in speakers Review: Out of the box, setup is straightforward, and anyone who has experience with a smart device will have it set up in a few minutes. My AppleTV 4K was automatically recognized as a Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos device upon connection, although I did have to fiddle with a picture setting to get my PlayStation 5 to display in 4K HDR. Another thing I liked was that, since the TV recognizes the devices, it automatically configures the TV remote (with backlighting) to control the other devices. PS5 gaming looks incredible on the 75” screen, and I was really blown away by how much better a game like Demon’s Souls looks in 4K HDR over my old 4K SDR set. The 60 fps also really shines in games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which looks absolutely stunning in its fluid and detailed environments. There are still only a few games for PS5 that can be played in 120 fps, so I’m excited to eventually see how they look on this unit. For HDR10/Dolby Vision content, the contrast and peak brightness are definitely a noticeable improvement over an SDR screen. I was able to pick out small details that I never noticed before in films I've seen many times. For instance, in Batman (1989), there are some shots where Batman is in the shadows and one of his eyes is noticeably vibrant against the darkness of the cowl and scene. Although the unit delivers on all of its advertises features, I should note two points for discerning buyers. First, for those who are most interested in theatrical viewing, the LED backlighting does bleed into the letterbox borders. In a dark room, I found the bloom quite noticeable. Second, the unit does support Dolby Atmos, and the sound quality is fine for built-in speakers (some content does actually sound immersive). However, I do think most folks will still want to opt for a separate sound bar / system, especially if you’re going for something closer to theatre quality sound.

Good 60% of the time. Haven't really had any big issues with it but sometimes when I turn my Xbox on it goes to the Xbox screen and then the home screen and back to the Xbox screen and then back to the home screen and I was playing Xbox for a couple hours and then it all of a sudden went to the home screen and I brought it back to the HDMI Xbox screen and it's completely black so I guess I will try a different HDMI input but really for any TV that's unacceptable. White is easily the best color on the TV but at times it's almost to bright.

Going from a 50” Insignia Fire Tv to this 75” behemoth is truly a gift. The QLED technology and HDR capabilities shine bright in this television. It truly reaches over 1,000 peak bits of brightness and captures 4K content running at 120hz beautifully. My only complaint is the IPS panel as opposed to the VA panel, however, this doesn’t impede on my utter gratitude for this technology. I will say though that because of the IPS panel and the TVs inability to support ultra high contrast in some content, you will notice a small white halo surrounding certain objects which some might find frustrating. If you go for 65” you get a better panel but I like it big and this was the way to go!

This 75" Hisense TV has good sound and great clarity. I have had it for about a week and so far I have watched plenty of sports and shows - The contrast on the picture quality is very good. Here are the top three things I like that I thought were worth mentioning; 1. 4 HDMI inputs rather than the 3 I'm used to seeing in most TVs 2. Remote control is Bluetooth enabled so you don't need to point it directly at the TV 3. Google built in (I especially like using Google Duo on the TV) Disclaimer: I bought this 75" screen ULED TV at a discounted price in return for an honest review. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. I will update this review after three and six months of using the TV for others who are curious about its durability and features usage.

I bought this because one of my kids broke my prior TV, so I was reluctant to spend too much on a new one. After weighing up various options, in particular the Sony 90 series, I settled on this Hisense 75" U7G TV. This TV is huge and bright, though contrast suffers because of the IPS panel, so blacks are greyish. Also you need to tweak the Dolby Vision settings to minimize blooming and black crush, which not being an OLED this TV does suffer from too. If you can get this TV on special, it's great value. Just don't go in expecting OLED quality.

Spectacular color . Google interface with Android works great!Cons, too much blooming in dark scenes. Spent two weeks trying to calibrate this picture is 95% there good price might have gone with TCL 6 series with Google if that was close to the same price at the time. Best buy not very good at assisting me with my problems. Unless I paid a $200 tech fee. That was a little disappointing. If you have patience trying to calibrate the TV yourself a nice TV. Settings out of the box really need to be tweaked.

I have an Elite 70 inch flag ship tv to compare this TV to and it’s in a different league. The U7 picture quality is sharper and the motion is 100% better. The U7s colors pop and are brighter too. But my Elite’s blacks are still blacker. There is no more red ghosting and the sound from the tv is pretty decent but I use a denon surround sound 7.2 system and it compliments the tv well. You can fine tune the U7 to your liking. As for the lack of quality control that Hisense is known for , I do recognize a little dirt on the top right corner in the letter box but it’s not a return the TV changer for me. Your average joe will not recognize it and it’s not all the time. It depends on the viewing content. The U7 upscales excellently too. For the price you can’t be the value. This is my first 4K tv and I am pretty content. Streaming is excellent too.

This TV is an incredible value. The 120hz native refresh is astonishing for the price. Nothing else even comes close. On my Xbox Series X, I'm able to get 4k 120hz with VRR. I read some professional reviews saying 4k 120hz on consoles wasn't working but mine is working perfectly. Dolby Vision is working perfectly, Apple TV looks astonishing. Games in HDR are blowing my mind. I have a Samsung Frame TV that I use in my living room and that was my regular gaming TV. I got this for my game room and it is leaps and bounds above the Samsung Frame. I know the Frame has some technical limitations, but even HDR pops way more on this TV. You need to spend some time tuning the TV to how you like. But they make it really easy. The settings save not only for each input but for each feature. For example, if a dolby vision video comes across on HDMI 4, it can save the settings for that vs if a Dolby vision video comes across on HDMI 4. Also it saves between each mode. So if it detects an HDR video, it will save the settings for that vs if an HDR game comes across, it saves the settings for that! It's incredible. I spent a good couple hours tuning it to what I like and what my panel can do and it's amazing. Video games with HDR are blowing my mind, I'm pretty sure this isn't good for my eyes :) One note, not sure if anyone cares. The speakers on this TV are absolutely awful. Ear bleeding awful haha. But it does have arc, 3.5mm out, and optical out. Each with a lot of custom options in the menu. So you should be good to go with whatever you have.

    Great TV So Far

I bought this 75" Hisense tv to replace a 65" Samsung curved screen that I had for 5 years until the power board blew up and sent smoke boiling out the back of it. However, I've been wanting to upgrade to a bigger picture and flat screen with better picture quality for some time. I would not consider myself an expert videophile but an intermediate videophile and so far I am actually impressed with the video quality this tv displays. I read several reviews for this tv before purchasing it and it was actually my second choice. I had planned on purchasing a more expensive tv but ultimately settled for this one after examining all the features and functions as well as dollar for value since it was about $800 cheaper than my first choice. Even at the $1199 price I got it for with black Friday sales I am pleased with all the features packed inside it. I won't go through all the specs since you can read those here online. But dollar for value of the features is why I picked this tv. Set up out of the box: This tv is heavy. At 75" don't even attempt to move or set it up by yourself. If you don't feel like you could take on the task of moving it and setting it up out of the box I would recommend getting it professionally moved and set up. Since I have moved and set up several tvs in the 50" - 75" range myself I didn't feel to nervous about having me and my wife set it up ourselves. I installed a wall mount and my wife helped me to set it in the mount. And yes, again it is heavy and just the size alone is more intimidating to handle if your not used to it. So please get help or have someone professionally install it for you. Picture quality is great. There are some reviews about blooming effect, muddy colors and motion jitter. As far as blooming this tv has a full array backlit panel and there is some blooming effect with bright whites right againt a solid black background but what do you expect? The blooming is hardly even noticeable in my opinion and only noticeable when watching content that I would consider store display video or testing video content. So during regular video streaming the blooming is not even noticeable in my opinion. If a little amount of blooming bothers you than spend a couple thousand more for an OLED to take care of that problem. Muddy picture colors is nothing even close to my 5 year old 65" curved screen 4k Samsung tv I replaced it with. I have yet to notice any muddy or soapy blacks. The blacks are like they should be, black. Even in underwater scenes I didn't even notice muddy water coloration. There is a little bit of muddy color when there is a light source being used in a movie or show such as a lamp or lantern in a dark room or cave but again it's not that bad and can be expected a little. There is some motion jitter in tv shows and movies but very slight. Since I have only had the tv for a couple weeks now I still have not played with the settings much to work that out yet. But out of the box I would rate motion jitter about 1 out of 10 with 1 being very little and noticeable and 0 being none at all. So hopefully with a little tweeking I can get that to 0. As for sports like football games I did not notice any motion jitter at all. I did turn off all motion settings as recommended in some reviews so I will probably go back and play with those settings later once I get chance. But for now I barely notice motion jitter. The colors and picture seems beautiful with the settings right out of the box. I haven't touched the contrast or brightness settings at all. I did turn on the auto picture brightness so depending on if my room is dark or bright the tv automatically adjusts brightness levels and so far I am pleased and have not got any adjustment headaches or sickness from adjusting to the larger size. From what I read the 55" & 65" have a VA panel and the 75" has an IPS panel. Again I'm not an expert videophile but I am very pleased with the panel. I sit about 9' - 10' from the screen at about a 30 degree angle and I have no issues so far. Black uniformity seems to be great and maybe that's because it has the full array back lighting to help but blacks looks great and uniform across the screen. Viewing angles are great. I can stand at a 90 degree angle and still see the picture just fine with very little degrading. When the tv is off there is light glare from the room lights and just slightly when watching content on tv with the lights up bright but I have yet to find a tv that will cut out light glare totally. Watching shows in the dark with a slight light glow from an led light I hardly notice any glare at all. TV sound: This tv sounds great by itself. In fact, much better than I anticipated. It has the Dolby Atmos feature and I admit it does sound good alone. I give it 8/10 as far as factory tv sound goes which is impressive to me. I don't think you would be disappointed at all with the sound quality of this set. If you have a larger open floor plan room I would think a soundbar setup in conjunction with the tv speakers would be just fine. However, I am an audiophile or audiohead so I love my sound and I love my theater picture and booming sound experience so I am utilizing the eArc and fiber optical setup on the tvs back panel with my Onkyo receiver and Klispch speakers 7.1.2 Atmos setup and it looks sounds great. It's my own little home theater setup. In conclusion I am giving this tv 5 stars today because I am happy with it for all the features it has and for the price I paid for it. As for the Hisense brand I am not too familiar with the brand that much but after watching expert online reviews and the praises this tv got compared to high end and high dollar sets I was comfortable enough to purchase this set. In the long run only time will tell as even in the beginning of my review this is replacing a then mid range to high end Samsung set that ultimately blew up after 5 years of use.

For the price this TV is pretty dang incredible. Picture is amazing, HDR is pretty legit. There is a some notable halo/blooming, especially around captions/subtitles on top of black, but that’s not unexpected on an LED with local dimming. Only complaint I have is that paired with my Sony receiver it always turns on the PS5 whenever I turn the TV on, even when I simply want to watch my Roku ultra. I’m relatively tech savvy but I don’t know how to fix that issue with diving deeper than I’d like.

I have the 60 inch (2018) Hisense 60H6E (VA panel) bought 3 years ago, and the 75 inch (2021) Hisense 75U7G (IPS panel) about 3 weeks ago. When I decided to get a new TV it was because the 60 inch has a little dirty screen effect, and a older slow operating system, and it doesn't get bright enough to overcome the afternoon sun in the room that it was in. But I really wanted a BIGGER screen, and going from 60 inch to 65 inch, wasn't much bigger so I went with the 75 inch 75U7G. 15 inches, now that's a BIGGER screen. I can say, after 3 weeks, that I WON the panel lottery BIG TIME!!! All colors are on point out the box, no calibration needed. The 60H6E was calibrated by a Hisense repairman, when he came out to replace a circuit board and sensor, when the remote stopped working, shortly after purchase, and it looks great, but the 75U7G looks way better out the box. I leave it on auto for most viewing, and it is awesome. I senses the room lighting and the viewing subject, and selects the perfect settings almost every time. It's getting inky OLED level blacks without crushing the shadow areas. The sound is awesome too. I run it at 15 - 20% most of the time and almost never above 50%. I have a 5.1 surround system, but many times I just run the TV sound alone. Overall, I'm very happy with Hisense and the 75U7g. My first Hisense, the 55H6E had a very bad panel, if I moved a few inches off center, it was so washed out that you could barely see anything. So I returned it and switched up to the 60 inch model, because that was all my store had in stock. Within a few weeks, the remote stopped working, I called Hisense and got a person (imagine that) they had a repairman at my home in a few days to fix the problem. When I noticed the 75U7G was running a bit warmer than the 60H6E I called Hisense and as they looked into it, I received no less than 5 calls keeping me updated. They even offered white glove service to replace the set, but we decided it was within operating limits, and I really didn't want to let this panel go LOL My next TV will most likely be a Hisense.
