Beware of the 75 inch model

Even though hisense emailed me and said the 75 inch was a VA panel, it is an ADS. There is just too much light bleed in the black bars in bright areas of a scene, which is something i cant say ive ever noticed on my VA tv. It must be an issue when hdr content is played because i have seen commercials on this tv watching sdr content with black bars that stay pure black, no light bleed. its a shame since it seems to perform well otherwise. Will probably return unit

The light bleed on this panel was terrible when watching a movie with black bars!

Not Ready For PrimeTime
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research on this model and decided to purchase it over the Sony X90L as it had better specs and was on sale. This TV has wonderful brightness and clear, vibrant colors. The remote and speakers are also very nice. And as much as I wanted to like this TV, it is simply not ready for PrimeTime. The set up was solid but the issue began shortly afterwards. After a 35 min system update, all seemed well as the screen color was impressive and flawless; however the apps, TV response time, and overall operational capability is simply not to standard. The major apps (Apple, Disney, Amazon, Netflix) run fine but all others (Peacock, Pluto, Freevee, Tubi, etc.) are all extremely buggy and will not run independently. Changing live channels are easy enough but sometimes they require several moment of buffering (5-20 secs) for the TV to tune (if it tunes at all) to the appropriate channel. In my opinion, it just seems as though this TV needs better software, another firmware upgrade, and a stronger processor. This is a shame for a TV of this caliber/cost but perhaps I acquired a lemon. I cannot recommend and will definitely be returning this model first thing tomorrow to BB for the Sony as this model is definitely lacking. Hope this helps.
