    There is a dead pixel in the middle of the screen which is annoying and disappointing. Other than that I love the TV. I am a huge Sony fan and have a couple of their high end TVs but decided to try a different manufacturer.

    I love the quaiyy the screen everythinv just that there is this annoying quick flicker every other hour or minutes. Its really annoying I dont know how to get rid of it hard to ignore ahen playinf games or watching movies.

    Bought a TV advertised as “Excellent” condition and it had a cracked screen. In-store purchase 1014 060 4782 080225. At this point, open-box at Best Buy feels like rolling the dice on whether you’re buying a functioning TV or just paying to transport broken inventory. Overall experience: more like “Worst Buy” - wasted time, wasted money, and constant frustration.

    I would NOT recommend the 75” version of this tv. I found out the hard way that it uses a different panel type with a drastically reduced contrast ratio 54,421:1 (as compared to other sizes 282,400:1). It’s noticeable to the eye of even the casual, non-tv enthusiast. This impacted the picture quality so much that I returned this tv (not an easy process with a 75” tv).

    Hisense have been bringing out exceptionally good TV sets for the price, and the U8N series is the latest of the bunch in their higher-end line up. And even though I don’t consider myself a brand loyalist, every time I’m out looking for a TV that combines picture quality, features, design, and finally price, I end up with a Hisense. Thus, after using H9 and U6 series TV’s before, this time I ended up with a 75” U8N for my main living room area. Picture Quality: Even though Hisense puts out a bunch of superlatives for this TV (ULED, QLED, MiniLED Pro+ etc.), at the end of the day this is not an OLED or a MicroLED TV. However, that is in some way “technicality” in terms of picture quality, especially when the price is in the equation. That’s because this TV achieves very high quality, compared to its peers, with exceptional brightness and strong contrast. Under almost all lighting conditions I was able to see everything clearly. Hisense claims a peak brightness of 3000 nits in HDR, and even though I don’t have measurement equipment to do that (check with specialized review sites for that), for me visually it’s much brighter than my previous TVs. The only negative may be that compared to OLEDs, the black level is not as deep. But for me this TV comes so close to OLED, especially for regular usage. Performance: The Hisense U8N has a 144Hz native refresh rate with VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which means it reduces screen tearing and stuttering. Hisense has its own “Game Mode Pro” which includes auto low latency mode. I have been using this with my Xbox Series X at 4k@120Hz with VRR and so far, gameplay has been very smooth and enjoyable. I haven’t tried a lot of FPS games yet, but with a lot of hours playing RPG titles, I have been more than satisfied. Make sure you’re using the correct HDMI ports (only 2 supports 4k @ 144 Hz), and all the settings are correctly selected. Dolby Vision and Atmos is supported as well as DTS X. On top of the now ubiquitous filmmaker mode, there’s IMAX support as well as HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG. Features: Being on the Android TV platform, the interface is familiar, easy to use, and quite smooth. My earlier Hisense TVs lagged a lot (so much so that for one I had to use a Chromecast dongle instead of suffering stutters with the native interface), so I started with a lot of skepticism. To my surprise the TV responded really smoothly. In terms of connectivity, there are 4 HDMI ports with 2 supporting 4k @ 144 Hz (i.e. HDMI 2.1), and the other 2 being standard HDMI 2.0. One port supports HDMI eARC so using this with a home theater system is easy Composite RCA input (video and audio) helps extend support to legacy equipment, and digital audio out and headphone audio out enables further audio connectivity. There are 2 USB ports as well. In terms of networking, along with Ethernet/LAN connectivity, the TV supports Wi-Fi 6E which makes it futureproof. The support for ATSC 3.0 makes it even better. In summary, the U8N series from Hisense offers high-end specs and performance, without breaking the bank. It doesn't reach the epitome of picture quality or technology, but for regular consumers offers an exceptional package. This may be the king of the mid-range TVs at this moment.

    TV shuts off while watching. It acts like something is overheating. Best buy will not cover it because of a manufacture warranty and the manufacturer is not helpful. Went and bought another TV. Lg

    Stopped working after 15 days

    I'm really, really disappointed with this purchase. I bought the TV because of the high reviews and it worked fine initially. However, on day 15, the first day it was no longer eligible to return, the TV turned off in the middle of using it and will not turn back on. The standby light is on, so I know it's getting power. I tried all the tips online for resetting and power cycling and none of them worked. I spent so much money on this and I'm extremely frustrated.

    Purchased the tv on 07/23/25 the display panel was damaged. I reported the issue on 07/23/25 to Hisense because it’s under a 2yr warranty with the manufacturer. On 08/11/25 tech finally comes out and stated the display panel is damaged and then he destroyed the screen. As of Today is 08/20/25 I still have not received a replacement.

    I just bought the TV and I wasn't not impressed with the overall picture quality on the TV. I tried for hours to get it where I would be to my standard and I just couldn't I'll be taking back the TV tomorrow and should have went with my gut and just get another LG

However, the upscaling procedure doesn't transform a lower resolution into a higher one; it's more of an approximation. Consequently, an image upscaled to fit the pixel count of a TV screen won't resemble an image originally filmed in 4K.     Very disappointed .I had TV for 16 days and TV went dark as well as price dropped by $130.00.Called BB and was given poor customer service.Would not honor price reduction and did not care that TV went dark.Everyone else gives 30 days not 15 especially when I called customer service.

    TV died after only 2 months!

    I enjoyed the TV while it worked. The TV just turned off one night after only 2 months and it wouldn't turn on after that! I'm currently working with support to get it fixed. This will be my first and last Hisense purchase.
