Customers are enthusiastic about the 75" Class U8 Series Mini-LED QLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV's picture quality, brightness, and ease of use. Many praise the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and impressive brightness levels, while others highlight the user-friendly interface. Although some minor drawbacks regarding blooming and the number of HDMI 2.1 ports were noted, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.

I first bought this Hisense U8 series tv for the price. I thought it would be a great Mini-QLED tv. This being my first QLED. I did go to the store and compare with the Sony, LG, and Samsung. I was still convinced this was a great picture for the value. I got the TV home and I was very happy with the picture quality for my PS5 games and movie viewing, even in daylight settings. However I never got the PS5 to get 120FPS active. just 60FPS. After about 6 weeks of use, I noticed an area about 12" X 20" in the lower center of the screen that lost sharpness and color vividness. The colors were very soft and faded. Then about 30 minutes later the entire screen went black. I tried multiple inputs. The tuner and audio were all still working, just no picture. Thanks to the BestBuy support team, I am getting the TV replaced in a couple of days. I decided to just pay the extra money and get the Sony Bravia A80L. I guess sometimes you get what you pay for.

Honestly, I'm giving two stars instead of one because the tv looks great watching movies, playing ps5, and anything else. My problem is I bought the tv in August and I had to have it replaced in October because half the screen was darker then the other half. The new tv was put up and installed by geek squad I thought easy fix. Here we are a month and a day since I got the replacement tv and the exact same thing happened again. I guess I just got unlucky maybe but now I'll have to deal with best buy and get another tv and wait a week before I get another one.

This Hisense 75 inch U8K 4K ULED Smart TV is by far the best LED TV I have ever experienced. Its combination of features, sound quality, aesthetics and picture quality is without match. Hisense is a major consumer electronics and appliance manufacturer. It was founded in Qingdao, China as a radio manufacturer in 1969, then began producing televisions in 1971. It purchased technology and production lines from Matsushita, Hitachi, NEC, Toshiba and others, emerging as Hisense in 1994. Today it is the largest television manufacturer in China and the fifth largest in the world. Its best-known consumer products are sold under the Hisense, Toshiba, Sharp and Hitachi brands. Its television products are very well-regarded for quality and features, on a par with the two major Korean brands and the best-known Japanese brand. The U8K is Hisense’s premium microLED TV. Consider this superb combination of features: • Model: Hisense 75” Mini-LED ULED TV (Model 75U8K) • 75” Quantum Dot UHD Mini-LED IPS-ADS (In-Plane Switching) Display (3840 x 2160 resolution: 8,294,400 pixels per image frame) with wide viewing angle • 1008 local dimming zones for optimal blacks (over 40,000 to 1 contrast ratio) • Quantum Dot display with 10 bit color (1,073,741,824 possible colors) and 1500+ nits peak brightness • MediaTek MT9618 Quad-core Intelligent Video Processor to deliver optimized color, clarity and contrasts, can upscale HD images to near 4K quality • Google TV (Android TV OS 12) interface • Supports multiple advanced video systems: HDR10+, HLG (hybrid log-gamma), Dolby Vision IQ, IMAX, Filmmaker mode • Tru-Motion 480 Hz eliminates motion blur from sports and 48-144 Hz variable refresh rate, coupled with 8 ms response, optimizes gaming experience • Connected features including Google Home and Alexa • Five internal speakers deliver 50 watts of 2.1.2 channel Atmos sound (2 10 watt front/left-right speakers, 2 5 watt side/left-right up speakers, 1 20 watt woofer) • Supports WiSA SoundSend wireless speaker connections • Automatic audio calibration for the room in which the TV is located • Backlit Voice Remote can control special features, quick access to all major functions • Natural language processing delivers intelligent voice recognition for most features and adjustments; supports English, Spanish and French • Expanded electronic program guide (adds over-the-air channels to cable and internet channels) • Multiple video mode and sound profile presets, most with automatic settings • Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, Hulu, YouTube, Hulu, HBO Max, AppleTV, Tubi, Pluto, Peacock, Showtime, Google Play already installed, 32 GB available for apps and system • Google Play Content Store with hundreds of additional apps, games, videos • AirPlay screen-sharing function (iPhone, Windows 11) • Full web browser • 2 HDMI 2.1 4K video inputs, 2 HDMI 2.0 HD video inputs (HDMI 3 is also eARC) • 2 USB ports, 3.0 and 2.0 • Component (R/G/B) video input • Optical digital audio output • Wireless WiFi 6E LAN 802.11AX 2.4/5G/6G • Gigabit Ethernet LAN • Bluetooth 5.2 (both inbound from external sources and outbound to headphones) • ATSC 3.0 coax input and digital tuner for over-the-air 4K channel reception • Beautiful appearance with a very slim bezel (0.4”) • 600 mm x 400 mm VESA mount holes • Semi-gloss screen to reduce reflections • 65.9” wide x 38.1” tall x 3.0” deep (without 2.6” tall x 14.5” deep stand) • Two stand positions: 39.7” wide or 50.4” wide • Weight: 79.4 pounds, 81.4 pounds with stand • Power consumption (380 watts in use, 0.5 watt in standby mode) • 2 year parts and labor warranty When you invest in a great TV, no matter the brand, you should look at three elements – the beauty of the visual delivery system, the quality of the sound produced and the range and substance of the other features included. Consider each of these: It is easy to fall in love with the video quality of this TV. The 4K Quantum Dot display with 10 bit color, and 1,008 local dimming zones, all managed by the powerful MediaTek MT9618 Quad-core Intelligent Video Processor delivers an absolutely stunning image, easily the best I have ever seen from a non-OLED TV. Since comparable-sized OLED screens are twice the price of this TV, there is just no other set in its price range which can match it. There are many preset video modes to choose from (e.g., vivid, standard, theater, sports, gaming, Filmmaker) or calibrate the picture yourself with an incredible degree of precision. You will be absolutely delighted with the video images created by this magnificent TV. To meet the HDR 10 (High Dynamic Range) and Dolby Vision IQ standards the display has to attain both a very high brightness level and a very dark black level coupled with a vast range of colors presented with very subtle shading between the millions of pixels on the screen. The 1,008 local dimming zones give deep blacks and the 10 bit color with the multiple HDR and Dolby Vision systems supported create a very wide range of colors and brightness levels. It creates an effective 480 frame per second refresh rate (Tru-Motion 480) with each of the 8.3 million pixels set to the exact color/brightness level required to achieve the truest image. This also includes upscaling HD content (which has only 2 million pixels in the image) by interpolating the correct color and brightness to the full 8.3 million pixels of the 4K display. Most TV produce 250-350 nits of light output, but this Hisense has a specified 1500 nits brightness level which actually understates the actual output. This is a very bright TV! This amazing combination of technologies creates an unmatched picture quality. How good is the sound? Most speakers for even the best televisions are just not comparable to the display, yet much of the immersive experience of movies or sporting events comes from rich sound rolling over and around you. This usually requires adding a sound bar to your TV to replace those pitiful little speakers typically built in. However, this Hisense has the best sound system I have ever heard on any set. I have a very nice 7.1.4 Atmos sound bar which I connected to the HDMI eARC output and it generated great sound. But the Hisense unaided sound is so good that I watched an entire action movie with the sound bar turned off and it seemed there was very little drop off in audio quality. This is due to the 2.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos sound system. Dolby Atmos is the most advanced form of surround sound system. It delivers sound as “objects” which are placed in three dimensional space rather than in specific channels to immerse listeners in the sound. The Hisense U8K includes an Atmos processor to drive two built-in 10 watt full-range left/right speakers mounted at the bottom edge, a 20 watt woofer mounted in the center of the back of the TV and two 5 watt side/up speakers mounted on the left and right back of the TV. You can also choose to add preset sound modes (e.g., standard, theater, sports, clear voice, music) or make your own sound adjustments. If you use this TV in a room where a supplemental audio system would not fit in, the built-in sound system will not disappoint you. Finally, the third element of evaluating is the set of added features available. Here you will find that this TV is like one of those Russian nesting doll sets – every time you open up a feature your find another bonus inside! • All extra features are controlled by the excellent Google TV operating system (Android 12 OS). • The lighted remote gives direct access to all of the most popular streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Disney+, Tubi and “Apps” (which pulls up a menu of all installed streaming services.) It also accepts voice commands and provides a menu button for settings. • The Google Play Content Store contains hundreds of additional apps and games which can be downloaded. The storage capacity for the operating system and apps is a generous 32 GB. • The Google TV Live feature is amazing. It is an integrated program guide of internet program sources and over-the-air channels. It also includes Google Home. Just ask it any question and it will respond to you! • Gamers will be thrilled by the dedicated Game Bar menu options and the superb color and 48-144 Hz variable refresh rate image processing capability of the TV. • The over-the-air tuner is the next generation ATSC 3.0 which can receive 4K broadcasts. These will soon be common. It is very easy to receive digital broadcasts with this fine tuner and you will be amazed by their quality. • A Device Assistant button in the Apps menu gives access to a fine array of built-in utilities including a hardware check, storage cleaner and a system optimizer. • A full-featured web browser is easy to navigate, thanks to the voice remote and the ability to connect a standard keyboard and mouse via the superb Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity • Nearly all menu options include explanations of their function. • Air Play screen sharing from a PC or phone is supported and it is effortless. • WiFi is the latest 6E standard (LAN 802.11AX 2.4/5G/6G). An Ethernet port is also available. • “Ambient Mode” gives rotating artwork or personal photos plus time/temperature on screen. • I mounted the TV on a wall bracket but the substantial feet for the stand can be attached in two positions, providing a gap of 38.9” or 49.3” between them. Small quibbles: If you connect a sound bar via HDMI eARC the TV’s great internal speakers are turned off. A side-by-side video display option would be nice (e.g., over-the-air tuner + cable input so that you can watch two events simultaneously.) Evaluation - the Hisense 75” U8K is an absolutely superb premium television which outperforms every other set in its price range. It is an excellent choice for those who demand the best in every aspect of their life. It has earned a full five stars and my most enthusiastic endorsement!

Can an ADS Pro IPS type panel be good? (Yes!)

One of the best sets I've owned (possibly the best but that will take time to know). I was initially worried about the 75" because it has an ADS Pro IPS type panel and a glossy screen, whereas the 55/65" sets use a VA type panel. I was afraid I would get this thing and hate the black levels and contrast. I was worried about glare as well. I'm pretty picky but I was very pleasantly surprised with how well it handles...everything. The ADS Pro panel is no joke. It has great black levels and contrast, gets super bright, has basically OLED quality viewing angles (vastly better than VA panels), almost zero dirty screen effect, no light bleed at all, barely any blooming. It's an absolutely outstanding set by any metric. Now I'm going go to talk about every little bad thing I can think of for this set so you can know exactly what you're getting and you will hopefully understand that overall this set is one of the best out there at any price. It's all minor things but again I'm very picky and want things that are wrong to be better. We won't get that if we don't complain! So... 1. The worst issue I have is that navigating The apps and settings are slightly laggy. I want zero delay when I press a button, and while usually that is the case here, it is not always, and for example it can sometimes take up to a full second between a press of the settings button and the settings menu popping up on screen. That is not acceptable at all to me, though it is still quicker than many way more expensive sets like WebOS (LG) and Tizen (Samsung) sets. No excuses though! It's just not quite as snappy as I want. Obviously if you use a streaming box instead of the onboard apps this would be a complete non issue. I personally do use the onboard apps though. 2. Out of the box motion isn't great, but setting to Custom 2 or 3 judder reduction helps massively and makes the motion a non issue. I'm not sure why Hisense doesn't make that the default. Other settings also work but some introduce too much soap opera effect for my tastes. 3. The remote is almost perfectly functional. It is cheap feeling though and the backlight is a joke. You have to press a button to make it light up. There is no 'light' button though...so you're in the dark and want to find a specific button. You first have to press some random button so that you can then see to find the button you actually wanted to hit. Very weird. Update your remote Hisense! 4. There is a 'Turbo Mode' function to help speed up the set and it does seem to help BUT I noticed when I enable it and am changing picture settings I get kicked out of the settings menu sometimes. With it disabled that doesn't happen at all. Hopefully this is something Hisense can fix with a firmware update. I don't know what else to say other than if you are on the fence I can tell you honestly this set is very very good for any room bright or dark, narrow or wide seating, awesome for gaming...it handles everything very well. Get off that fence and buy this set. You will not be disappointed. Quite the opposite!

Hisense has become the brand that brings the latest and greatest tech on a budget. Their dual matrix 9 series last year was an amazing high tech entry to the market. This year’s 8 series, the H8K brings an extreme amount of zones to bear using the Mini-LED backlight along with ULED panel to produce an exciting product. Is it enough to take on OLED displays? I’d say definitely. The 75” H8K TV is large and heavy (81.4lbs w/ stand); which is to be expected for a 75” FALD Mini-led panel. Perhaps a bit unfortunately named in the era of 8K tv’s, the H8K is only 4K, but it’s a well rounded player in the 4K realm. Not only do you get over 1000 zones (actual count I could not determine, but good sources say the 65” has 1008 zones, and the 75” would have even more), but you get a slew of other high end features. A native 144Hz refresh rate matches the best gaming monitors, VRR ensures a fluid framerate on gaming consoles and computers (Freesync Premium Pro and G Sync compatibility), ATSC 3.0 gives you 4K over the air TV broadcasts, built in Dolby Atmos 2.1.2 speakers sport great sound, and a pretty snazzy built in smart TV platform round out a pretty complete offering. The TV is quite featureful, and it should be at Hisense’s next top spot. The physical design is a lot of textured plastic with some metal framing. The bezel is quite thin, with a minimal chin at the bottom sporting the Hisense logo. There is a single LED that shows power status (on is off, off is on). Around back you find the 4 HDMI inputs with 3 & 4 being HDMI 2.1 (sporting all the way up to the 144Hz VRR 4K HDR resolution). The other two ports only offer 4K 60Hz. There is the ATSC tuner port, AV in (composite w/ audio - cable not included), headphone out, serial port, LAN port, the antiqued optical audio, and a couple USB ports. The power cable is a full 3 prong standard equipment power cable (like for a computer). One very interesting thing about the physical design is the subwoofer grill, which is rightfully labeled ‘subwoofer’, centered in the back of the panel. Along each side you’ll find the height channels that are side firing, and the bottom includes the forward facing speakers making a 2.1.2 Dolby Atmos system. The remote includes shortcuts for Netflex, Amazon, Youtube, Disney+, Tubi and a generic apps button. Beyond that you get basic functionality with a direction pad, and basic function keys. The remote enables google assistant functionality. That’s a good segway into the smarts of the TV: Google TV, formerly Android TV. Google TV has long been Google’s Smart TV platform, competing with Apple/LG/Samsung for the living room space. Overall Google TV has come a long way from the slow sluggish performance many of us early adopters were used to. The 2019 series I had before was almost unusable. Here things are snappy. Specs I could find were 2GB of RAM, 18GB of internal storage (16 available), a Mali-G52 GPU which hints at a Mediatek Helio G80 or similar CPU. Google TV offers a vast app store with Google Play, and great support for Google’s ecosystem. YouTube and YouTube Music are great, as is the Prime Video, Disney Plus, Hulu and Max apps. Overall, I feel like Android TV has made it. Overall I’m happy with the performance, which is leaps and bounds better than my 2021 Hisense Google TV. Another performance characteristic is start up time. From button press to picture is only about 2 seconds which is fast on a modern TV. So what does the TV sound like? Better than some cheap soundbars. The subwoofer works, and well. It adds a depth that you wouldn’t find from a simple 2.0 soundbar. The built-in speakers are clear and sound great considering they're the built in speakers. The Atmos speakers do make a difference, and the virtual sound is good, at least in Standard mode (Intelligent mode sounded a bit hollow for whatever reason). There is even a built in equalizer with 7 bands of adjustment. Overall you almost don’t even need to get a soundbar depending on your needs, which is a big statement from me - who has a soundbar on EVERY TV in my home. If you decide to use a soundbar, you’ll be pleased to find eARC with full Dolby Atmos/DTS:X output. I hooked up a JBL soundbar that had Atmos support and it worked perfectly with the TV passing multiple audio outputs (Dolby, DTS, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos) directly to the soundbar. Audio wise, this TV has lots of flexibility. So picture wise. For a TV listed with a peak brightness of 1500 nits, I was surprised how dim it seemed at first. Digging in picture settings, I found the ambient light sensor setting seemed to cause this issue, and changing its sensitivity, or in my case, turning it off altogether, was the right call. The U8K has a gorgeous vibrant panel that gets extremely bright. The TV sports an IPS panel with mini LED backlight. This combination creates gorgeous colors and erases most of the downsides of the IPS panel type. There is the tiniest bit of glow discernable when in high contrast scenarios (white text on black screen) near an edge. A bit of blooming/glow occurs, but it’s only perceptible in extremely dark contexts. If you’re using this TV in a living room, even at night, it will impress with its black levels, and more. I found the Theater Day picture mode to be my favorite when not viewing HDR content. The Dolby Vision IQ setting was good when watching Dolby Vision. Color out of the box was great, and I didn’t feel like I needed to tweak the color values much at all to be true. YMMV, but other than dialing in the right brightness, I found the TV picture required very little tweaking. My PS5 is able to exploit both VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), and 120Hz. Gaming in 120Hz is a changer for sure. You notice how smooth the action is. Especially on the PS5, VRR gives you that smooth motion, even when the PS5 can’t quite keep up. Avoiding tearing was PC gaming’s issue for a long time (as frame rates were so variable). I hooked up my Nvidia laptop and was able to confirm G-Sync compatibility as well. The VRR on this monitor lists from 48-144Hz. I tried the ATSC 3.0 tuner, and it found one Nextgen station. Unfortunately I couldn’t get it to tune in solidly enough to view, but I was able to view about 25 other channels in my area. The tuner was fast and worked well. So how does this compare to an OLED? Again, the darkest scenes do allow some glow in, but it’s not noticeable unless it's really dark in your room. The peak brightness makes OLEDs just look dim in comparison. I noticed no obvious blooming in dark starfield scenes, with only glow being a problem near the edges of the TV. In conclusion, I would have preferred to see every port HDMI 2.1, but other than that, I was extremely impressed with this TV. You get all the modern goodies (VRR, 144Hz 4K, Mini-LED) and amazing contrast. Sound is great for built-in speakers. Overall this is an amazing TV.

I bought this tv on sale at a good price or so I thought. Immediately after setting up the tv there was horrible panel inconsistencies. I assumed I got a faulty tv and exchanged it the next day for the same model and took it home and unboxed it only to find the same exact issues. It looks fine in some scenes but if you are paying for the mini-led technology DO-NOT buy this tv. Save up a bit longer and get a Sony or Samsung, or if you are limited at this price then just buy a non mini-led tv. Personally I went back and exchanged the second tv for a Samsung qn90c in 75”. The price on the Hisense is appealing but don’t expect it to last. I’ve attached images of both tvs showing they start up screens and a grey screen on the second exchange.

The specs in this device make this a high premium tier smart TV. The TV mini-LED has over 1,000+ dimming zones, which enhances the image quality and helps with blooming while promising the same impressive brightness. Image banding and upscaling are great on this TV; it makes lower-resolution images fit into the screen by preserving details and making pictures look properly crisp (not blurry or overly sharp). The 1,500 nits peak brightness, a high number of nits for a TV, can make the picture look brighter, producing better images even in very bright rooms. This feature is great when you can't make a room very dark in the daytime because of windows. A native 144hz VRR's extremely high refresh rate makes this TV great for gaming. For gaming, it has an auto low latency mode which the TV automatically switches into the designated setting gaming mode (Note that the gaming console's input must be chosen in the setting for this feature). It has the Wi-FI 6E standard enabled, which benefits homes with wireless networks (routers or mesh Wi-Fi systems) that operate on the new 6 GHz frequency band. This new band has less interference with other devices, and speed is much faster, so you won't have streaming issues if you have fast Gigabit internet. The Google TV control comes with many smart features and streaming apps. The control includes buttons for the most popular apps and a voice-controlled mic via Google Assistant. Attaching the stand is fast and very easy to do. Note: that it requires two people to move and set up. Place the TV face down on top of a flat surface, insert base stands into the bottom slots on the TV, and finally, stand the TV upright on top of a sturdy table. The physical look and design of the TV is simple. The two feet (base stand) pro is set up high enough for it to fit a low profile sound bar beneath (up to 2.5" at the center of the TV). A port array on the back features four (4) HDMI 2.1 ports (2x 4K@144Hz and 2x@60Hz). As my personal preference, I will install dedicated home theater speakers with a soundbar. This TV does include great speakers, which produce impressive sound. It has ATSC 3.0 broadcast standard antenna, so it is the latest, and a NextGenTV tuner. Compared to my older TV, I get more broadcast channels, better reception with an improved digital signal, and 4K pictures in my area. To conclude,, I am satisfied with this new Hisense smart TV.

Hisense hits it out of the park with the 75U8K

Have someone to help you unbox and set this bad boy up because it is enormous. Boxed weight must be over 100 lbs because the TV is packed as well as I have ever seen. The unboxed weight is 82 lbs alone. Unboxing shows how much time and effort Hisense put in to protecting the 75U8K. Every inch of the panel is protected with a very thick and rigid box board, and the rest of the set has custom foam packaging from top to bottom. Like traditional boxes of large displays like this, you simply lift off the top cover from the bottom box base and you are able to lift the TV right out of the package. The feet are also pretty massive, just big block style legs that can be positioned in two different spots along the bottom of the display depending on the width of the base you’re setting it on. The feet go on very easily into notches and then secure with screws. The feet also have cable management on the top backside which I thought was awesome. Initial setup was super simple. It uses the latest Google TV OS and getting the set up and running was easy and quick. You can link your Google account for all the features that Google Assistant and Google Home offer you, but it is not necessary. You can easily use this TV without a Google account. In terms of setup, the one thing I was sort of bummed about was the remote control. I have an older 42” Hisense in our bedroom and the remote for that set is nice. The 75U8K remote is pretty underwhelming. Cheap plastic and minimal buttons just don’t scream quality. I know Hisense is traditionally a more affordable option when comparing features to price, but the 75U8K is such a monster of a flagship TV that having a nice flagship worthy remote would have been nice. But it does everything you need it to, and has direct input buttons for streaming services like Netflix, Disney+ and others. The first thing you notice when powering it on is how bright it is. It’s the brightest TV I’ve ever owned. With 1500 nits peak brightness, this TV can give you a tan. But what that actually allows is for the visuals to be simply stunning at normal viewing brightness and offer bright whites, vivid colors and excellent contrast. I was replacing a Vizio PX75 LED flagship from a few years ago with this 75U8K. the Vizio was LED with full local dimming array but viewing the Hisense makes the Vizio feel like it is 15 years old. I was stunned by how amazing their proprietary ULED display looked across all kinds of different content. Whether it was upscaled SDR content, standard 4K content, HDR, Dolby Vision, Gaming, the TV just blew me away. The blacks are some of the deepest blacks I’ve seen, maybe only LG panels I’ve seen are blacker. The contrast is amazing, the accuracy of the picture was just so good. They do tout the 75U8K as a “bezel-less” design but that’s a bit misleading in my opinion. Yes the actual cabinet of the TV is just about bezel-less, there is very little cabinet around the panel itself, but you do get a panel bezel when viewing content. So when comparing to LG or Samsung panels that basically push the display out the very edge, this TV won’t do that. You get 4 HDMI inputs. Two are HDMI 2.1 that support 4K@144Hz and the other two support 4K@60Hz. The panel has a default refresh rate of 120Hz on the HDMI 2.1 inputs and can push up to 144Hz in the expanded HDMI mode so if you connect a PC that can reach 144Hz refresh rate, the display will handle it. For most of my viewing I run the content through an Xbox Series X so I’m set at 4K@120Hz. You have a myriad of display options to fine tune all the different content sources to your liking, including a Filmmaker mode, that allows the TV to disable its post processing and determine the best settings to use based on the content so what you’re viewing is as close to how the creators intended. It works pretty well when engaged if you’re watching certain movies, but for other content like television or videos from different streaming apps you won’t notice much difference. The settings works best when using dedicated hardware/content like Blu-Ray etc. You also get a 4K ATSC 3.0 tuner for over the air broadcast if your region supports that. If not, at least it’s future proofed as more and more locals move to 4K over the air. Playing games is also amazing, as the 75U8K can automatically detect when the content is gaming and adjust everything to accommodate the best picture possible and make sure the auto low latency logic, FreeSync, motion smoothness, everything you need for flawless gaming in engaged. Using the Xbox Series X, playing games in HDR and Dolby Vision was truly incredible. To me it rivals some of the top end gaming monitors we have in our house from Dell and Samsung, I would say even better because I just can’t get over how amazing the picture is on this TV. We’re a mix between iOS and Google in our home, and the TV comes with AirPlay, so streaming content from our iOS devices is smooth and flawless. Google Assistant works great, is super fast and snappy, no real lag at all. However the only issue I seem to be having, and it’s driving me crazy, is I cannot get my Google Nest Cams to stream to the TV. Everything is configured in my Google Home app, all Assistant privacy settings are configured according to Google’s support directions, but I just can’t get my cameras to stream to the TV. I was super excited to just use Google Assistant to see who was at the door, or check on the dog in the backyard on the TV, but so far no luck in getting it to work. WiFi 6E is nice to have on this, the latest and greatest for a flagship set makes sense. But the overall speed I’m seeing isn’t that earthshattering. Only getting about 200Mbps up and down. Which is nothing to sneeze at, that’s more than enough to stream anything you want in the highest quality possible, but the radio they are using must not draw full WiFi 6E speed. I’m using an ASUS ZenWifi Pro ET12 mesh system in my house which can push beyond my 1GB Mbps fiber connection, but the good news is that when on the 6E band, the traffic is pretty slim, we only have two other devices in the house that use 6E so the signal should always be true. I also thought this might be the reason my cameras weren’t streaming to the TV, using 6E for the TV and the cameras were on the 5 ghz band, but even setting the TV to the same 5 ghz band didn’t help. The speaker setup on this is also amazing. Not your typical flat panel thin and tinny speakers. This has a 50W Dolby Audio configuration of 5 total speakers which includes a subwoofer. Now is it as good as external audio hardware, of course not. But if you don’t have soundbars or subs or other home theater audio components to use, the audio you get from this TV is pretty amazing. And using 50W it gets plenty loud. I use home audio hardware for sound – an Onkyo receiver and Klipsch speakers with a subwoofer, and I can say the SPDIF audio out sounds amazing. The signal going to my receiver is pretty true, and the TV allows you some audio out configurations to tailor the sound as you need for your outboard hardware. I think Hisense has hit it out of the park with the 75U8K. The box has a nice big “CNET Recommends” sticker on it from CES 2023 and I couldn’t agree more. For the price point of this TV, I think it rivals most other flagship TVs in the space without breaking the bank. I cannot recommend this TV more. I love it.

Green vertical lines and panels issues after 6 weeks. WORST customer service ever. Came out destroyed the TV left me responsible to throw the TV away which cost me $$ and then sent me a check in the mail which only covered the cost of the TV. Don't EVER buy a Hisense TV. Much happier with my Samsung Q80CD 75" now
