Hisense U8K is great!

Before I bought this TV, I said the next TV we buy will be an OLED. Well, it seems to me they are way overpriced for the average person. So, why not settle for something "pretty" good instead. Whoa! This TV is amazing! Colors are bright and sharp on OTA channels and truly mind boggling on UHD 4k content. The sound in an average size living room is very very good. It actually has built in subwoofers on the back, and you can tell it. I have to say I tweaked a few settings in the color department, but it was worth the research to find the right settings and get it right. We got this on sale due to being a 23 model year, but I think paying the full price for the U8N would probably be worth it too. Fantastic television!

The Hisense 75" U8 Series is a fantastic value for anyone seeking premium features without breaking the bank. The Mini-LED and QLED combo delivers stunning brightness, deep blacks, and vibrant colors. Whether watching movies or playing games, the 4K clarity and HDR support create an immersive experience. The Google TV interface is smooth and intuitive, with all the apps you need. It also offers great gaming features like VRR and low input lag. For the price, it’s hard to find a better TV with this level of quality and performance!

This replaced a 4 year old Vizio 705G1, and is a big improvement. Like that there's no need to baby the TV since it is not OLED. The TV is very bright and colors look natural once settings are adjusted. HDMI ARC works fine to route AV through a receiver. Did have to buy vesa mount extension adapters separately to get the TV to be at the perfect height without moving the wall mount. TV sound be itself is surprisingly good. Good enough to not need a sound bar, unless you already have or are used to one.

Really impressed with the Hisense U8K 75" Television.
Primary use is 60% as a PC Monitor, 40% using the internal streaming apps to watch content.
As a PC monitor, the Hisense U8K really accels because it is capable of 4:4:4 Chroma Subsampling so text is clear at 120Hz. Great for gaming with extremely low input lag.
For steaming, the Google TV interface is very easy to setup and use, responsive to commands from the remote, and the picture quality is everything I could ask for.
100% satisfied with my purchase and would recommend the Hisense 75" U8K without pause

I have always been wary of Hisense and was not really sure if the low price would be worth it in the long run and I will say that this TV is pretty good. The image for my PS5 is fantastic running at 120 and have absolutely no lagging at all. I do wish that all four of the HDMI were 2.1 as it is only ports 3 and 4 with my PS5 taking up 4 and my soundbar taking up number 3. I did notice that even though the apple tv is running at only 60hz the image is clean and watching sports is no issue at all with very little blur. I will say that there is sometimes a little bit of a communication error between the sony soundbar and the tv but can be rectified quickly. There are also sometimes where the tv screen will not fully come on when turning on through the apple tv remote but overall it is not a terrible tv for the price you pay. I think it is good for thos eon a budget and will get more than some of the other brands "mid range" models. Overall, I am happy I got it but I think next time I am in the market for a TV I will probably go back to Sony.

Great tv for the price. Nice and bright. The built in speakers don’t actually suck and provide plenty of sound. Refresh rate is a little low for watching ball sports but that could also be an issue with the video providers.

We have never own a Hisense TV prior to the purchase of this 75U8K and the UX. This tv is bigger than we expected and well worth the sale price. It shows a great picture out the box. Once you make the adjustments, it shows a fantastic picture. The colors and the blacks are popping! It was easy to install the updates. We had the tv mounted with no issues. The remote is easy to use. We had no problems attaching Roku and Fire TV adapters. The speakers emit great sound quality. It seems to be a great investment, only time will tell.

Let me atart by saying that I'm giving 5 stars for the TV only and not the transaction with Best Buy! I am not intellectual about TVs and all they can do, but Hisense has done my household well! With kids I've had to purchase TVs more than I'll admit here so price is important. This one is easy to setup and the picture is great, I am not disappointed as the picture looks better than my Sony ever did (and it was good and expensive at the time) Now to the ZERO stars i give to Best Buy... picked up at store and got home to find out was an open box item with tape on the bottom which came loose while carrying so we almost dropped it. Called 4 times to get hung up on everytime they would transfer to someone else. Ended up talking to Geek squad since the stores dont have phones anymore (yeah ok). They agreed to bring me a new one since I refused to drive the hour back to return as they didnt have anymore in stock. Well they delivered the new one today and just left it in my hallway until asked to move into living room and then they were gone. No i didnt pay for install because last week I had help to install ourselves and today I dont. A little generosity for my huge inconvenience would have gone a LONG way but now I'm done with them. There are plenty of other options for TV's nowdays.

Very happy with this purchase! I researched TVs for months before pulling the trigger on this purchase and I couldn't be happier. You get most of the top-of-the-line features for a fraction of the big brand prices. The TV is bright, blacks look great and motion is smooth. Google assistant is nice to have as well. Excellent prodcut for the money!

Only the 75” model gets this panel, so it’s a bit of a unicorn. Viewing angles are impeccable, brightness is fantastic, and blacks are deep and inky. I wanted the 85” originally, but it is a VA panel, so I decided on the 75”, especially after seeing it in person. It’s a whale of a value, and clearly better than the TCL QM8 (which is also quite a fine tv). I’m incredibly pleased with this purchase. My Xbox Series X gets along with it beautifully too.

Just buy it. If you have $1500 and are in the market for a 75” tv, just buy it. This thing is very bright and has great color and shading. Watching live golf during the day on a 1080p ota signal the shadowing was incredible. The detail was very good. So good I think I may have gotten a sunburn!! Watching live tennis you can see every bead of sweat on the players. Watching Thursday night football on Amazon was very, very clear. As for the sound it also is very good. Watching local news it varies quite a bit but the Mandalorian sounded very good. My previous Sony tv had a Sonos soundbar and I don’t miss it but I don’t watch any movies. I bought this mainly for watching sports and a larger octobox on RedZone and it has not disappointed one bit. If there is one thing I didn’t particularly like is that it is very heavy. Lifting this to the wall mount above the fireplace was not easy for 2 people. One other thing to point out is the off axis viewing I did not notice any degradation at all. For the price I don’t think there is a better option out there. Just buy it.

The Hisense U8K 75" TV has excellent picture quality at a bargain price. Its performance easily competes with or surpasses many TV's, particularly at its lesser expensive price point than the big-name brands like Sony, Samsung or LG. This TV has state-of-art modern features for less $.

Great TV! I was doing alot of research before purchasing the 75 in. Colors, brightness, contrast and sound are all amazing. Hisense has definitely steped the game up and is competing with with the higher end samsung, LG etc. Definately best bang for your buck in that price range. Can't go wrong with this TV, amazing picture!

Excellent screen quality. Coming from an OLED, I’m impressed with its contrast and black levels. This TV is in a sunroom and performs very well. At night in a dark room, it’s too bright, basically I’m saying it’s a great performer when it comes to brightness. It handles motion well with little blur. I’d definitely buy another. I use it with a soundbar so I can’t rate it’s speakers.

Purchased the Hisense a little over a year ago. Looked long and hard at Samsung (we love Samsung), LG (OLED really appealed to me), Sony....all the big boys. But based on reading LOTS of reviews, both personal and professional, it seemed the Hisense was the best bang for the buck. And it hasn't disappointed. The color, the user interface, the ease of app selections, the clarity, the brightness, it all met every expectation and hope I had. We also purchased the soundbar w/subwoofer and bluetooth satellite surround speakers. Amazing picture and sound for a price far more reasonable than the big boys. I'm in no way an audio or videophile - but I'm tickled pink at every movie and every football game. Highly recommend this TV.

Clear picture, easy to set up and use, great sound. Has everything you need in a smart TV and has been the best one I’ve purchased. This is the first Google TV I’ve purchased and I love it! Functions much smoother than the Roku TVs or Amazon Fire TVs I’ve tried. Software updates are quick and happen in the background so I don’t have to miss out on watching my show while the TV updates which is very nice.

Game Changer.
I purchased knowing the reviews were steller and rtings.com has this model highly recommended.
It does not disappoint. Big screen, very bright, colors are crisp and awesome sound. The sound for a TV was quite a suprise in that it was actually better than my older soundbar.
Overall, definately recommend this purchase.

Got this TV on a Cyber Monday Deal. Worth every penny. Great picture, zero glare. We had major glare issues based on the location of TV in our room, no way around it. This TV eliminated that 100%. You really have to squint and try to locate a light reflection, almost non existent. The mini LED tech is amazing.
I purchesed a Hisense sound bar also and its nice how the TV over eARC recognized it, being the same brand, and I can control the sound bar EQ through the TV settings.
No pixelation, and movies are on another level. The sound on TV speakers is the best Ive had, but still got a sound bar and sub as i wanted the surround and bass output.
I have ZERO complaints and would recommemd this over paying close to double the cost for competing brands mini LED TVs. If you can't decide, just get this TV. No regrets.
