his might just be the ultimate present for the right person. I got this for my daughter for Christmas, it's her first cell phone, and it's a huge hit. Make no mistake, this is a flip phone like we had 15 years ago. With the exception of an MP3 player, really no smart features. It has just a few games on it, like Snake, but nothing major. The only downside to this phone, is that I wish it had a better quality camera. It has a 5 megapixel camera with a flash, but I would love for my kid to be able to capture memories in full clarity. It also comes with extra cases and tons of stickers and gemstones to bedazzle the phone with. Additionally, the outside of. The case can work as a mirror, which is great. The other feature that I was worried would be overlooked is the charging cable. This phone uses USBC, unlike any other old flip phones you might find, which make this easily fit in to your current charging environment in your house without having to make any changes. If you are looking for a phone with limited functionality to reduce distractions and social media influence, this is definitely the gift for you!

If you are a fan of Barbie, get it. No need to read the review, The package is really nice with multiple snap-on covers, stickers to decorate and everything, including the battery and charger are pink. As it turned out, my wife will not leave her iPhone for this, even to detox. As we do not have a girl in the family who loves Barbie and will be happy with a feature phone, I decided to test it myself. So, I will try to review how it is from a detox perspective (which is what they tout as the aim of this phone). In short, it is not great because of some important exclusions. It does not have Bluetooth, so if this is the only phone you are carrying - you cannot just connect it to your car. It does not have whatsapp, I understand the omission of social apps but with both wifi and cellular internet on board, whatsapp would have been a really solid app to have. No Spotify or any other app, it does have an mp3 player and micro-sd card suport, if you maintain your own library. You can use a wired headphone with it. It comes with google maps, which can be used for directions. It does connect to wifi and have an internet browser, though it is extremely sluggish, The charging port is USB-C, Yay. Overall, it is a must buy for Barbie fans. If you have someone who loves Barbie or have grown with one, get it for them. But as a practical feature phone, to detox from all the social media while still connected, I think it lacks few important apps and features.

I got this for my 14-year-old daughter thinking that maybe she would like to have a Barbie phone since she liked the movie for some reason (I didn't). Shame on me. Despite her initial happy reaction, she soon realized that it wasn't anything like what she was expecting. We then decided to give it to my 7-year-old granddaughter (yes, I still have a teenage daughter at home but also have 4 grandkinds), but although she likes it, she already tried to do things that she wasn't able to. Not a big deal because nobody is ready to give her an iPhone or something that fancy. The plan was to have her something that could be used to keep in touch with her when needed and it works well for that but I can tell you right now that this is not a phone that I would recommend. The coolest feature is that it's Barbie themed, but beyond that, it feels more like a toy starting with the screen resolution which is much lower than I expected. To be fair, it is not useless, especially if it's going to be used by a child. It can even connect to a headset and other wireless devices. Of course, it also connects to the internet and most importantly, you can set it up for a child, giving you some peace of mind knowing that they won't be able to access most things a child shouldn't be exposed to when online but with such a small 2.8-inch screen, they wouldn't be able to do much anyway. The included stickers and the heavily pink theme everywhere makes it fun for kids. Again, for a child, it is almost perfect. It even has a 5 megapixel camera for them to take pictures, but don't waste your time if you're thinking of giving it to a teen let alone a grown-up. I know other people might have a different opinion but I can't hide the fact that I wasn't impressed.

On the bright side, you are likely to never lose this phone. Who is this marketed to? Hard-core Barbie fans and those who do not want apps and other distractions on their phone and just need to be able to call. As a phone, it works fairly well. I was very disappointed however that it doesn’t have Bluetooth for connection in the car or two headset that seems like a function that should be included uneven the most basic of phones Especially in this day and age when most states have anti-cell phones while driving laws The presentation boxing unboxing and all of the included materials are gold for Barbie fans. This is an interesting crossover since most of the people I know that want to use flip phones are older gentleman who I’m not sure if they are Barbie fans or not, I guess I’ve never asked Set up and activating service as simple as this phone is essentially unlocked. Battery life is stellar because all it is is a device to make calls. The flip hinge itself feels like it was made with the memory of so many past Motorola razors that it isn’t breaking anytime soon. Ironically, this would make a good flip phone for anyone who is looking for just that..

Everyone loves this phone! Although almost everytime people ask if its my daughters because it looks like a toy. The box it comes in is super fun and exciting.
